<p>On Saturday, July 18th, Sean was detained by ICE on his way to support his husband’s Pride performance.
</p><br />
<p>What was supposed to be a day of celebration, love, and visibility turned into a nightmare. With warm regards and high hopes to resolve this matter and get Sean back to his life and loved ones - his friends, his family, and husband - have come together to create this initiative to fundraise for the immediate needs that will arise during the devastating and extensive process now underway.
</p><br />
<p>Any amount you can give to this cause is a blessing and a step toward Sean’s safety and wellbeing. Other powerful ways to help include sharing this fundraiser, leaving a comment of support, and spreading the word by any means of outreach you have: social media, email, group chats, or community networks.
</p><br />
<p>We know everyone is facing their own challenges, and we don’t take your attention or generosity for granted. Your support, whether through donations, shares, or words of encouragement, means the world to Sean, his husband, and all of us who love him.
</p><br />
<p>We thank you for your love, compassion, and support during these difficult times. We truly believe that together, all things are possible - and that with your help, Sean can return to his life, his home, and his husband.
</p><br />
<p>Sincerely,
</p>

Help Sean Stay with His Husband in the US

<div>Hello Everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My dad is ok, he was deported this morning without warning and without signing any paperwork even with no criminal record. My family is so grateful for all the messages of support and the donations provided for legal help. Although we could not get my Dad the legal help he needed, ALL of the GOFUNDME Donations will help my Mom &amp; Grace cover their months rent and also help us send my dad money to help him start this new unexpected journey . May God Bless Everyone who helped us and continue to do so.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank You❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>Dios Bendiga a Todas esas personas que nos apoyaron y siguen apoyándonos.
</div>
<div>Thank You ❤️

Help Alberto Mota & His Family

I am a Black trans woman who relocated to Chicago for safety, moving from Tennessee where there are no protections for people like me. I came here hoping to find a safe haven and to further my goals for my transition, but the challenges have been overwhelming. I have no immediate support, and my family’s hyper-religious beliefs mean they do not accept my gender identity or lifestyle. Coming from a background of poverty, I am now facing urgent threats to my safety and well-being.
<br>
<br>
 Recently, my car began breaking down, and the check engine light came on. I suspect it was tampered with, as I woke up to find my gas cap removed. These incidents have made me feel unsafe in my neighborhood, and I am desperate to move somewhere I can find community, hope, and support from people who understand what I am going through.
<br>
<br>
 Your help will allow me to end my lease, repair my car, relocate to a safer neighborhood, and further my transition. These funds will also support my overall wellbeing, giving me the chance to heal and thrive in a place where I feel uplifted and protected. Please, support and protect the dolls at all costs. We are truly in a time of need, and together, we can create a safer, more hopeful future for everyone in our community.

Urgent Help for Aamirah: Safety & Community

<div>Casa Cactus is more than just a cafe, it's a community built by a team of eight incredible staff members who go out of their way to make every guest feel welcome and present.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our team has thoughtfully come together, each finding their way to our space and helping create the warm, inviting atmosphere that our customers love. Their dedication and kindness have made Casa Cactus a place where friendships are formed and memories are made.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, due to our licensing issue with the city, Casa Cactus is temporarily closed. With no money coming in, we are unable to pay our staff, many of whom depend on our shop for their livelihood. This sudden closure has put them in a difficult position, making it hard to pay bills, rent, and keep up with daily expenses. We want to make sure our team can return to Casa Cactus when we reopen, but without immediate support, that may be difficult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are reaching out to our community for help. Your support will directly impact our staff, giving them the financial relief they need to get through this challenging time. Every contribution, big or small, will help keep our team together and ensure Casa Cactus remains the welcoming space it has always been. Thank you for standing with us and supporting the people who make Casa Cactus so special.

Support Casa Cactus Staff During Closure

<div>La Casita Verde was born from love. Supporting my mother and my sisters — Sonia, who had Down syndrome, and Elizabeth, who has an intellectual disability — showed me how vital welcoming, joyful places are for families like mine. Together we will be creating a cafe that does more than serve coffee: it creates belonging, dignity, and opportunity for people with disabilities and the whole community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mission &amp; Vision:
</div>
<div>Mission: To create a safe, sensory‑aware café that provides meaningful employment, therapeutic programs, and inclusive community space.
</div>
<div>Vision: A community center where accessibility is the norm, connections are built, and everyone feels truly at home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What we will offer (grouped &amp; succinct)
</div>
<div>Sensory‑friendly environment: dimmed lighting, reduced background noise, visual menus, and calm hours.
</div>
<div>Therapeutic &amp; skill programs: speech &amp; language space, sensory cooking, music &amp; art therapy, and gardening with sensory textures.
</div>
<div>Employment &amp; training: hands‑on training for adults with disabilities in POS, food service, hosting, and back‑of‑house skills.
</div>
<div>Lifelong learning &amp; tech access: cell‑phone and technology classes for seniors; business leadership and teen baking workshops.
</div>
<div>Community supports &amp; services: immigration legal clinics, monthly senior social connections, free haircuts for kids and for people with disabilities, and event space tailored to families with special needs.
</div>
<div>Accessible food options: allergy‑friendly, gluten‑free and sensory‑sensitive menu items with clear visual guides.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By combining a welcoming café with targeted programs and jobs, La Casita Verde will reduce social isolation, expand skill and employment pathways for adults with disabilities, and offer practical supports to families across Albany Park. Every mural, patio table, and sensory hour is intentionally designed to make community participation possible for everyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funding needs &amp; use of funds
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to complete demolition, renovations, commercial appliances, furniture, licensing, and program startup. Our immediate goal is $60-80K to kick‑start demolition and initial build‑out; our broader target is $215K total to open with programs and long‑term sustainability.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Join us in making La Casita Verde a reality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in community where everyone belongs.

Create Café for People with Disabilities : Inclusive Cafe

<p>Isabel lives alone. She has no one to take care of her except for her neighbor. She lives in a really humble neighborhood in San Salvador with other elderly people who have been abandoned by their families.
</p>

<p>With your help, we’re going to help build small storefronts so they can self-sustain their day -to-day expenses. We're also going to start a <br />small restaurant to earn money that will help in paying for medicine, food, and other necessities. With the rest of your donations we will be fixing her house and some of elderly homes. Their roofs are leaking, they're sleeping in cardboard boxes and some don't have have the<br />luxury to having money for food everyday. <br /><br />If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this gofundme or the video we made for Isabel! All help makes a difference! Thank you <br /><br />From EarthPix and MurhphLife

Let’s bless Isabel and the elderly of El Salvador

My father, Nicolas Gonzalez Vega passed away this Saturday at 3:15 am after fighting for his life and an illness that he suffered from for many years. A liver transplant wasn't an option at this point. After being taken off life support Friday night he was surrounded by family members and his 3 kids. It's a painful experience and brings memories of our mother who fought lung cancer and passed in January 2010. They knew each other since they were kids and brought us here to give us a better life. Both migrants who left their parents and families behind knowing they might never see them again. My sisters and I understand the love our parents had for each other and for their children. We are asking for donations to help pay for funeral and hospital expenses and give our father Nico the farewell he deserves. <br />Muchas Gracias,<br />Vicky, Diana &amp; Nico<br /><br /><img class="not-resizeable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/6055416_1442587079.9903_funddescription.jpg" width="100%" alt="6055416_1442587079.9903_funddescription." />
