Yesterday, December 16th, at 9:10 AM, I received the worst news I could have possibly received. I never thought it was going to be me. That it was going to be my dad. A bunch of things crossed my mind at the moment, but not this. I was told ICE was at my dad's job. At the moment, I felt like my whole life had been taken away. By the time he was able to call my mom, he was already under ICE’S custody. My brother tried to find him, but he was no longer there. His location said he was still at his job, so when I saw my brother had gotten here without him, I collapsed again. We didn't hear from him until 3 PM. I felt a little better, but it still wasn't enough. I wanted him here. I want him here, with me, where he belongs, with us, with his family. We then heard from him again around 7 PM. He told us they gave him a court until February 24th because he has a chance to stay here because of us, his kids. Then, at 11:10 PM, we found out on a website that he had been transferred to Indiana, where he will be staying. So I ask you guys to help us out. You all know my dad and know he is a wonderful person and an amazing dad. You know that he never fails to get a smile out of everyone. You know, he's my world. And like Sebas said, "Yo no puedo hacer las cosas sin mi papá." Anything helps. Sharing, praying. We just ask for your support in this difficult situation. Thank you for everything!

Ayer, 16 de diciembre, a las 9:10 de la mañana, recibí la peor noticia que jamás podría haber recibido. Nunca pensé que me pasaría a mí. Qué le pasaría a mi papá En ese momento, me pasaron muchas cosas por la cabeza, pero no esto. Me dijeron que ICE estaba en el trabajo de mi papá. En ese instante, sentí que me habían arrebatado toda mi vida. Cuando pudo llamar a mi mamá, ya estaba bajo custodia de ICE. Mi hermano intentó encontrarlo, pero ya no estaba allí. Su ubicación indicaba que seguía en su trabajo, así que cuando vi que mi hermano había llegado sin él, me derrumbé de nuevo. No supimos nada de él hasta las 3 de la tarde. Me sentí un poco mejor, pero aún no era suficiente. Lo quería aquí. Lo quiero aquí, conmigo, donde pertenece, con nosotros, con su familia. Luego, volvimos a saber de él alrededor de las 7 de la tarde. Nos dijo que le habían dado una cita en la corte para el 24 de febrero porque tiene la posibilidad de quedarse aquí por nosotros, sus hijos. Después, a las 11:10 de la noche, nos enteramos por internet de que lo habían trasladado a Indiana, donde permanecerá. Así que les pido que nos ayuden. Todos conocen a mi papá y saben que es una persona maravillosa y un padre increíble. Saben que siempre logra sacarle una sonrisa a todo el mundo. Saben que él es mi mundo.
