I am a senior currently facing unexpected challenges due to age-related limitations and a recent injury that has temporarily prevented me from working. On top of this, I am navigating essential living expenses that I cannot cover alone during this season. Throughout my life, I have always placed others before myself—helping, giving, and showing up whenever I could. I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help. When everything became overwhelming and I collapsed under the weight of it all, I found myself alone—but that moment also brought clarity, humility, and a deeper understanding of compassion.
