<div>The Toledo Lighthouse needs funding for a dock and a lift.
</div>
<div>The total project cost is $70,000. The nonprofit Toledo Lighthouse organization has raised $40,000 of the $70,000 needed for the dock and lift to be installed in July of 2026.
</div>
<div>Weather permitting, public tours of the lighthouse will be offered during the Toledo Lighthouse Festival September 12 and 13 at Maumee Bay State Park.
</div>
<div>If you donate for the dock and lift, you will be on a list for donor tours before the festival (there will be a charge for the boat to and from).
</div>
<div>The Toledo Lighthouse is located about five miles offshore on a crib, it is four thousand square feet with three stories in the main building, a cellar, an annex, and a two-story tower with an amazing view.
</div>
<div>New windows and shutters have been installed on the first and second floors along with other improvements totaling $1 million.
</div>
<div>Additional funding is needed to finish the restoration.
</div>
<div>Getting safe access to the lighthouse via the dock and lift along with reinstalling the ramp to the platform to go on the deck of the lighthouse is important to promote, educate and restore this incredible lighthouse!

<div>My name is Ky and for the past 13 years LC has been the love of my life. She wasn’t just any dog, she was an absolute legend and considered by many to be the best dog in the world.

<div>The bond between LC and I was stronger than words can convey. Her lively spirit brought a sparkle to the world and her heart was filled with an immense love for life, people, and adventure. LC was more than a companion, she was my best friend.

<div>On the morning of June 15 LC, after a long struggle with Cushing’s and Lyme Disease, Little Coconut died peacefully in my arms. The pain of this loss is immense, and I cannot begin to describe the hole left in my heart now that she is gone. We are fortunate to live in a time when scientific advancement offers us a glimmer of hope - the possibility to clone an exact genetic replica of our beloved LC.

<div>I've entrusted ViaGen Laboratory in Texas with her DNA, to be safeguarded until we can gather the necessary resources to bring LC's vibrancy back to life. They’re charging $45,000 to clone her of which I hope to raise $40,000 on GoFundMe from her friends, fans, and followers. For the other $5,000 I’ll be auctioning off some of my best pieces of sea glass on Facebook. If you’d like to have your pet cloned, contact ViaGen and give them my name to help me receive a discount.

She traversed marathons, climbed snowy mountains and fiery volcanoes, and embarked on voyages spanning thousands of miles, visiting more countries than most humans dare to dream. Through her videos, LC stole the hearts of millions worldwide and became an icon, a true legend.
