<p>Angel Mandujano is a 32-year-old husband, father, local musician, friend and longtime member of the Nacogdoches community. He has lived in the United States since he was 5 years old, first in Chicago and in Nacogdoches since 2008. Angel is known by many through his music, including performances with The Bamboo Tones and Open Mic Nights. He is a hardworking and devoted husband to Summer and a father to their beautiful one year old daughter. For decades, Angel has worked hard and dedicated his time, talent, and resources to our community in a positive way.
</p><br />
<p>In April 2025, Angel was detained by ICE while his wife was five months pregnant. Since then, their new family has been navigating an expensive and emotionally overwhelming immigration legal process in hopes of keeping Angel at home with his wife and child.
</p><br />
<p>Summer filed an I-130 petition seeking a path toward Angel’s lawful permanent residency. The petition remains pending, and the family is now approximately 16 months into the process. Angel was released on a $7,500 bond, but the legal costs have continued to grow.
</p><br />
<p>They have recently traveled to Houston for a master hearing. Though their attorney was able to obtain a continuance shortly before the hearing, they are still responsible for the cost of the additional attorney who prepared for and attended the matter. Angel’s next hearing is scheduled for August 20th in Houston. Their legal team is also pursuing a 42B application, which they hope will allow Angel to remain in the country with his family while his case moves forward.
</p><br />
<p>Current and anticipated costs include $1,600 filing fee for the 42B application (increased from $100 by current administration), and an estimated $2,000 or more for a required psychiatric evaluation and testimony. This paired with ongoing travel and administrative costs related to the case, and lawyer fees is estimated to be $10,000 or more.
</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>If the legal outcome is not successful, Angel would be forced to self-deport the United States and wait in Mexico while the I-130 process and any other required waivers are completed. This could separate him from his wife and their young daughter for years.
</p><br />
<p>We are asking our community to come together for Angel, Summer, and their daughter. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help cover legal representation, fees, evaluations, travel, and the expenses of continuing this fight to keep their family together.
</p><br />
<p>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and attending our music fundraising concert at Maks, Sept 18, 2026. Your support, encouragement, and advocacy mean the world to their family.

<p>Thank you for standing with Angel and his family during this difficult time.

Keep Angel Mandujano with His Family

<div>This is my brother Luis, he was sadly detained this morning and immediately placed in ICE hold. This has been devastating for us as It has been a rough 3 years already for our family after we tragically lost our other brother. Luis is a hard working father of two that has his own remodeling business. He was stopped right by our house this morning on his way to work. My brother as many others was brought to this country as a baby and doesn’t know life outside of the U.S. Any help would be highly appreciated so we can bring my brother home

Luis Needs Us: A Father Detained

<div>Hey everyone! It is with a heavy heart we are having to create this fundraiser for Keith. His cancer is back. Keith has received the results of his scans and can now confirm the return of four cancerous tumors. two are located near his diaphragm and two on his liver. He will need daily medicine, weekly labs, monthly scans, and possibly more surgeries. That is why we are reaching out to the larger community that knows and loves Keith. All of the donations are going directly to Keith for him to use as he needs while he battles cancer. Your contribution or spreading the word about this fundraiser is monumentally helpful and can quite literally save his life. Please help our friend! THANK YOU!

Keith's Fight Against Cancer

<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m reaching out to share my journey and ask for your support during this challenging time. I was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had to undergo an emergency hysterectomy. While I’m hopeful about the next steps in my treatment, I now need to have another surgery to have lymph nodes removed and biopsied, and the medical expenses are overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To help cover medical and travel expenses that are not covered by my insurance and the costs of time off from work, I’m selling cupcakes and other sweets. I have also created this GoFundMe if you prefer a direct means to help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden of medical bills and my upcoming surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. Thank you for any support you can provide, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign with others.
</div>

<div>With heartfelt gratitude,

<div>Danny Woodard, a devoted husband, father and friend unexpectedly passed away from this world on March 18, 2024. Danny was the type of person to light up a room with his personality and attitude, regardless of the situation or setting. His career as an inspector in the oil and gas industry created many friendships for Danny and his wife Angie over the years. He was also an advocate for the game of golf and enjoyed his time on the course. Angie will tell you that no matter where they went or where they were, Danny was going to run into someone he knew. He will be forever remembered as a great man, a great husband, a great father, an awesome friend but more so remembered for the impact he left on everyone he met.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve all seen how big of an influence that our Applied family and the pipeline family can be in times of need like these and we ask you to do the same thing Danny always did, make an impact. Any amount you could donate would be greatly appreciated from the family as they face unexpected finances as you can imagine.

Danny Woodard Memorial (Funeral Expenses)

<div>Our Story:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Monday, November 20th, 2023, our son, Fenix Mc, was born. He came early and unfortunately, had some complications. Early Tuesday morning, he was admitted to the NICU. On Wednesday, I was discharged from the hospital but Fenix had to stay in the NICU. Thursday, Thanksgiving day, we got a call telling us that he needed to be lifeflighted to Houston because there was something wrong with his heart. That Friday, we were told that he had a coarctation of the aorta (his whole aorta was pinched/small) and was in need of heart surgery. Then on Tuesday, November 28th, our baby boy had his surgery and is currently recovering.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This was not how we imagined our experience as first time parents at all. We were ready for exhausted late night cries in the middle of the night, not anxiously anticipating calls from the hospital.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>God has been with Fenix from the very beginning and has given him strength through all the pain and discomfort he’s been through so far. God’s shown us His love by all who have reached out comforting us with NICU/heart surgery stories of their own and asking what they can do to help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this time, we humbly ask for help to financially recover from this experience. We knew as we signed approval for our week old son to receive blood transfusions and dialysis for his heart surgery that none of this was going to be cheap. But we wanted our baby boy home in his crib and not a hospital bed surrounded by machines and attached to a series of lines and tubes. We’d appreciate anything to help with these expenses, and are incredibly grateful for all those who have reached out already.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With humble thanks,
</div>
<div>Patrick, Alisa, and Fenix Mc.
