Brian is raising this fundraiser for his father, a retired Vietnam veteran who has been battling cancer for years. He is going through chemotherapy treatments every other week while also facing serious financial hardship. On top of the physical and emotional toll of cancer, he has been dealing with ongoing issues involving his pension from his former workplace and the VA. He is a beloved member of his community, known as a generous and caring person who is always there when someone needs help. As a father of three and grandfather of five, he means so much to the people who love him.
<br>
<br>
 The funds raised will help cover his medical bills, rent, and everyday life necessities so he can focus on his health instead of the constant stress of unpaid bills. Brian and his family have been doing everything they can to support him, but they cannot carry these hardships alone. They are asking for help from friends, neighbors, and anyone who is able to give. <strong>Please consider supporting</strong> Brian’s father during this difficult time and helping bring him some peace, stability, and relief as he continues his fight against cancer. Thank you to each and every one of you who can help in this very trying time. And God bless.

 In memory of Mitchell Miranda. <strong>This fund will assist his family with his funeral service.</strong> Anything helps. Mitch was a giver; he would give the shirt off his back. His smile and positivity were always felt in his presence. <strong>I’m doing this to ease the stress of the financial burden.</strong> Please consider helping.

Ease the Burden for Mitchell Miranda's Family

<div>Our youngest son, Dj (12) was diagnosed with brain cancer on his brainstem, and our world has been turned upside down. This diagnosis has brought a wave of uncertainty and fear, but we are determined to fight for his health and give him the best chance possible. The journey ahead will be challenging, with many medical appointments, treatments, and difficult days, but we are holding onto hope and doing everything we can to support him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medical bills, specialized treatments, and travel expenses as we seek the best care for my son. Every dollar will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on his recovery and well-being. We are grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or sharing our story with others.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>We are asking for prayers, hope, and help from our community. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world to us during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with us and helping my son as he fights this battle.

Dj's Fight against Brain Cancer

Katie is beginning an unexpected journey after being diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis has been a shock to all of us, and as she begins treatment, she faces not only the physical and emotional challenges of healing but also the financial burden that comes with time away from work. Katie has always been someone who brings positivity and kindness to those around her, and now she needs our support more than ever.
<br>
<br>
 Katie has always had a deep love for animals. Her career and life’s work revolves around caring for and advocating for the wellbeing of animals in farm production and in research. Her passion extends from the smallest of critters to the largest of livestock, with cattle in particular holding a special place in her heart. Katie’s dedication to animals is matched by her compassion for people, and she hopes to use her skills and experience to help both animals and their caretakers in the future.
<br>
<br>
 We are raising funds to help cover travel to medical appointments, recovery expenses, and student loan payments so Katie can focus on what matters most—getting healthy. The costs of treatment, transportation, and daily living can add up quickly, especially when she is unable to work. By coming together as a community, we can help ease some of the stress and allow Katie to concentrate on her recovery.
<br>
<br>
 Every donation, share, and message of support will make a meaningful difference during this difficult time. Katie is approaching this challenge with incredible strength and a positive outlook, and we are hopeful for a successful recovery with the love and support of those around her. Thank you for helping Katie take one step closer to healing.

 My name is Pedro (Peter), and I'm reaching out to ask for your help for my sister, Catarina, and her family during the most difficult time of their lives. Recently, Catarina received the news that no family ever wants to hear: she has breast cancer.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Her initial diagnosis gave us hope. Doctors believed she would only need a lumpectomy followed by radiation treatments. However, just weeks later, everything changed. The cancer has proven to be far more aggressive than expected, and with less than a week's notice, she is now facing an urgent mastectomy. Depending on what surgeons find, she may also require reconstructive surgery, followed by months of chemotherapy and a long road to recovery.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 As if the emotional and physical toll wasn't enough, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Insurance is not covering all of the medical expenses, and Catarina has already been unable to work. She will be off work for several months as she undergoes treatment and focuses on healing.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Catarina and her husband live a humble life just outside of Boston, where they are raising their two beautiful daughters. Right now, their only focus should be on her health and being together as a family—not worrying about how they will pay for medical bills and everyday expenses.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our family is devastated, and despite wanting to do everything we can, we feel helpless. That is why we are asking for your support.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are able to make a donation, no matter the amount, we are deeply grateful. If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community would mean the world to us.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation, every share, and every prayer brings hope and helps lighten the burden they are carrying. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time

</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>

</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Do fundo do coração, obrigado pela vossa bondade, generosidade e orações durante este período incrivelmente difícil.

Hope and Healing for Catarina's Cancer Battle

Lori Mahoney, Our good friend and colleague has been struggling with advanced thyroid cancer. It is inoperable. She has many medical bills and co-pays. Lori is an amazing, kind and giving person. She has been through so much in her life and is now facing this terrible illness. Please consider donating any amount to relieve the stress of day to day cost of living as well as medical bills. I was hoping we would not have an update like this... but Lori needs our help now more than ever Lori miraculously was able to return to work this year. She put her heart and soul and all her energy into her classroom and her students during this unprecedented time. Unfortunately, Lori has been forced to retire because the cancer has metastasized. She will need treatment again. Her retirement application takes four months to process so she will not get paid until then. She  had to retire early so she will  not be receiving her full retirement or even close to it. If we can all rally together and support Lori at this time it would be greatly appreciated.
