<div><strong>We need $200,000 to help save The Christmas Barn in Bethlehem, PA.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Dana Alyss. You may know me from my viral social media series like The Dating Hunger Games or The Ugly Friend or maybe you don't know me at all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A few years ago, I came back to my hometown of Bethlehem, PA after working in television in Los Angeles for 15 years. I saw the area being rapidly developed with warehouses, apartments and corporations, and it didn't look like the home I remembered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I started attending local meetings trying to save some of the places we were losing, like a historic farm, the local drive-in, an old plant nursery, the quarry and an animal conservation area, but by the time I got involved, they had already been sold. I found out the hard way that there's not much you can do after that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But there was one place I had loved since I was a kid that somehow was still standing:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Christmas Barn.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Christmas Barn was a beloved year-round holiday and gift destination in the Township of Bethlehem. After nearly 50 years in business, the store closed in 2007 following the retirement of its owners. The property has sat vacant for years and is now for sale.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I decided I wanted to try to save it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you know me, you know I love Christmas. And this is Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Christmas City USA. What better place to try to turn a real-life Hallmark Christmas movie plot into reality?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THE PLAN</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal isn't simply to reopen an old store. The vision is to transform The Christmas Barn into a year-round destination centered around retail, food, entertainment and experiences while preserving the character and history that made the property special.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But the original barn concept needs an upgrade into the 2020's. The plan would include a seasonal holiday and home décor store, Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley small businesses merchandise, a café/restaurant and an immersive Christmas experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It would also create opportunities to work with local businesses, makers and organizations and bring more visitors into the Lehigh Valley.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>AND NOW... THIS IS ACTUALLY BECOMING REAL.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I started this GoFundMe, I genuinely had no idea whether anyone would give $5 to this crazy idea.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You did.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we've now raised more than $54,000 through this campaign in just 3 months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And because of that support, we've been able to move beyond simply talking about saving The Christmas Barn and begin taking the steps necessary to actually try.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're now officially a business. We've established a business structure with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, opened the business bank account, developed the concept and business plan, and can now begin putting the money we've raised toward the professional work required to pursue the property.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our next steps include retaining an attorney and accountant, completing professional planning and renderings, preparing for inspections and due diligence, continuing to develop financing, pursuing investors and corporate partnerships, and beginning revenue-generating Christmas Barn products and events - all while continuing to raise money toward acquiring the property.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We still have a LONG way to go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>WHY $200,000?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our original idea was incredibly simple:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>40,000 people × $5 each = $200,000.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The $200,000 is intended to help provide the capital necessary to pursue the property and project (including acquisition-related costs, professional services, due diligence and financing) as we work toward the much larger funding necessary to purchase, renovate and reopen the Barn.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I didn't want one person to have to write a $200,000 check.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want everyday people to throw in $5 and then help us find the next person. I wanted the community to have something good to root for.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A real-life Hallmark Christmas movie where thousands of people decide an old Christmas Barn is worth fighting for and stopping developers from taking away historical places that matter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>THE IMPORTANT PART</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I still can't promise you how this story ends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The property still has to be acquired. There will be negotiations, financing, inspections, zoning, construction, professional fees and plenty of things we probably haven't encountered yet. The seller ultimately has to agree to sell it to us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a real project with real risks, and the funds raised are now being committed to the work necessary to move The Christmas Barn Project forward, which means donations are no longer refundable once they have been spent or committed to the project.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If, despite our best efforts, we ultimately cannot acquire The Christmas Barn, our intention is for any remaining donations that have not already been used or committed to the project to be directed toward a nonprofit charitable organization created to continue the spirit behind this project of supporting preservation, local communities and businesses in need. The exact structure and use of those funds will be established with the appropriate legal and financial guidance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But we're no longer standing at the beginning wondering whether anyone will believe in the idea.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More than $54,000 later, you already have.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We've created the business. We've opened the bank account. We're beginning to move forward with the work to make it come to life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And now we find out how far we can take it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate $5. Share this with someone who hasn't heard the story yet. Help us find the next person.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let's see if 40,000 people can make a little Christmas magic happen. ❤️
</div>

Donate $5 To Help Save The Christmas Barn in Bethlehem, PA

<div>**THIS FUNDRAISER HAS CONCLUDED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While cleaning up an abandoned, overgrown property, my friend and I found a dog that someone had bagged up and dumped in the driveway. I've been mowing overgrown lawns for five years and I've never had anything like that happen. Animal control came out, checked him for a microchip, and took really good care of him. But I couldn't stop thinking about how that dog should have never been in that situation in the first place.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So I called Christy at Wichita Animal Action League, a 501(c)(3) I've worked closely with over the past couple of years. They're the people doing the work that prevents things exactly like this from happening.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here's what WAAL does in our community:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Free pet food handouts every other week — around 250,000 pounds a year to Wichita families
</div>
<div>Mobile vet clinics in neighborhoods with the least access to care, partnering with veterinarians including K-State's veterinary school
</div>
<div>Vaccines, medical care, and supplies for owners who are doing their best but hit a rough patch
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What stood out to me most is that they don't just help the animal. They help the family. Christy told me they pride themselves on non-judgmental service, meeting people where they're at, so nobody has to feel afraid to ask for help. When a paycheck doesn't stretch far enough or an unexpected bill shows up, that's exactly when a pet is most at risk of being surrendered, neglected, or worse. WAAL steps in before it gets to that point.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar raised here goes directly to Wichita Animal Action League so they can put more food, more vaccines, and more veterinary care into the neighborhoods that need it most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To get things started, I'm personally donating the first $1,000, and the board of my nonprofit, SB Mow It Forward, voted to match the first $5,000 donated by all of you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even five or ten dollars goes a long way here. If you can give, thank you. If you can't, sharing this helps just as much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you all for watching, and thank you for caring about this one.
</div>

 Sienna was born with only half a heart. Since the day she entered the world, she has endured more than 50 surgeries on her brain, heart, spine &amp; more… spending much of her childhood in and out of hospitals instead of simply being a child.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Her condition has left her unable to walk, talk, or eat and every single day is a battle that no child should ever have to face.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Heartbreakingly, Sienna’s condition means she is at constant risk of a sudden cardiac event. Her family live with the unimaginable reality that they don’t know how much time they have left with their beautiful little girl.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Unfortunately the family has just received the news that it is 50/50 that Sienna survives until her 13th birthday next year.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Rather than spending that precious time worrying about finances, they want to fill Sienna’s days with love, laughter, comfort, and unforgettable memories.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 That’s why we’re asking for your help.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards giving Sienna the experiences she deserves… family days out, special trips, adapted equipment if needed, and precious moments together that Sienna and her family will cherish forever.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 No family should have to choose between making memories and paying the bills while caring for a child with such complex needs.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser could help it reach someone who can.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Let’s come together to show Sienna and her family that they are not facing this journey alone.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for your kindness and generosity. It truly means the world.

<div>
 I will be creating lip syncing videos on social media to raise the funds needed to change my friend Skylar's life. Let me tell you a bit about Skylar:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Seven years ago, Skylar's life changed forever.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 At just 19 years old, she was driving home after leaving college when she was involved in a devastating car accident. During the scans for her injuries, doctors discovered malignant tissue in her thyroid. What followed was radiation treatment that was supposed to solve one problem—but instead marked the beginning of a seven-year medical battle that no one could have predicted.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Since then, Skylar has endured a relentless cycle of medical emergencies, hospitalizations, debilitating fatigue, seizures, stomach paralysis, heart complications, breathing issues, and countless symptoms that continue to evolve. She has spent years searching for answers, traveling to specialists, becoming a patient at Mayo Clinic, and fighting through a medical system that still hasn't been able to fully explain everything happening inside her body.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Through it all, she's never stopped trying to live.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 She has repeatedly returned to work, pushed herself to build a normal life, and refused to let chronic illness define her. But every time she begins to regain her footing, another flare, hospitalization, or medical setback forces her back to square one.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Earlier this year, everything escalated.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Skylar suffered a rare thyroid storm that left her hospitalized for weeks. She later lost the ability to speak after a severe reaction to medication, has struggled to maintain healthy oxygen levels, now relies on supplemental oxygen, and has accumulated more than $30,000 in medical debt in just the past few months after aging out of her parents' insurance.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The heartbreaking reality is that the biggest obstacle standing between Skylar and better care isn't hope—it's access.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 There are specialists and clinics that focus on complex autoimmune and chronic illnesses, but they require thousands of dollars up front. She also needs legal representation to help secure disability benefits, ongoing medical care, oxygen and other essential equipment, and the financial stability to focus on healing instead of simply surviving.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 That's why we're raising $100,000.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 These funds will help:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 -Eliminate her existing medical debt.
</div>
<div>
 -Cover essential living and medical expenses while she is unable to work.
</div>
<div>
 -Secure legal representation to obtain disability benefits.
</div>
<div>
 -Give her access to specialists and treatment options that have been financially out of reach.
</div>
<div>
 -Provide the resources she needs to finally pursue answers instead of living in crisis.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you've found this page, chances are you also found one of my lip-sync videos. Those videos exist for one reason: to give someone like Skylar a chance she has never had.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every share matters.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation matters.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every encouraging message reminds Skylar that she is not fighting this battle alone.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for helping us give her something she's been chasing for seven years: hope, answers, and the opportunity to truly live again. I love you all. Let's change Skylar's life.
</div>

Lip Syncing to Give Skylar a Better Future

<div>In loving memory of Daniel Robert Snow(Danny)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Danny - a loving husband and loving father of two girls, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly leaving our family with an unimaginable hole in our hearts. Danny was a cherished husband, brother friend and someone who would do anything for the people he loved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At 17 Danny joined the Royal Dragoon Guards and proudly served his country for many years before leaving the army to build a family he had always dreamed of and becoming a skilled bricklayer working hard to provide for his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Danny was courageous, protective, loving and everyone’s safe place. He gave the warmest hugs and always had the best answer for everything. The kind that made all your worries melt away. All of the girls would always wait for him to come home and the world just felt brighter and happier. He was the most incredible daddy to the girls, the most kind and patient and loving. He adored the girls with his whole entire heart. He had the most infectious laugh and and was so generous, he would do anything for anyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His sudden passing has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him, especially his wife charlotte, who is currently on maternity leave from her role as a children's support worker whilst caring for her young daughters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have created this fundraiser to help to ease the financial burden facing charlotte and the girls during this devastating time. All fund raised will help with funeral expenses and provide support for the family as they begin to navigate life at this difficult time, giving Charlotte the time and security to focus on Aria and Poppy without immediate worries of financial pressures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No amount can ever replace Danny, but every donation no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference to the family he loved so fiercely. If you are unable to donate we kindly ask that you would share this page to keep Danny, Aria and Poppy in your thoughts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness and generosity and support. Your love will help to carry Dannys family through the darkest chapter of their lives.
</div>

Danny snow

<div>
 Hello everyone,
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but life has taken an unexpected turn.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For the past couple of years, I have gone through some rough times. Early this year, I began experiencing serious health issues and am currently undergoing testing and medical evaluations for what doctors believe may be cancer. <strong>While I wait for answers, the uncertainty has been overwhelming both emotionally and financially.</strong> I have created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden during this difficult time.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Because of my health situation, I have been unable to work consistently, and the expenses continue to grow.</strong> The biggest obstacle I am now facing is the loss of my home. I lost my mother on April 6, 2025, and I lived with her as her primary caretaker for over a decade. Unfortunately, when she passed, she didn't have a will, and I was unable to secure finances to buy out my siblings on the estate due to mounting bills and financial hardships.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I have been someone who has always tried to handle things on my own, and asking for help is incredibly difficult. But right now, I need support from friends, family, and anyone willing to lend a helping hand.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Funds raised will help cover:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Medical appointments, testing, and treatment costs
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Monthly bills and living expenses
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Moving, mortgage, and housing payments
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Transportation to medical appointments
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Basic necessities during this difficult time
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world to me.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I am grateful for every thoughtful kind word and act of support. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for standing beside me during one of the most challenging times of my life.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 With heartfelt gratitude,
</div>
<div>
 <br>

Standing with Jim During This Difficult Time

<div>If you know Jackie, you know two things are true. First, she came to New York to pursue comedy. Second, she definitely did not intend to speedrun every worst-case apartment scenario.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, a fire tore through Jackie's apartment building. Thankfully, Jackie and her two beloved cats, Berry and Olive, made it out safely. While we're incredibly grateful they're safe, many of Jackie's belongings did not.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows Jackie knows she's the kind of person who shows up for the people she loves. She's generous, resilient, endlessly funny, and somehow manages to find the humor in almost any situation. Even so, starting over after something like this is overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're creating this fundraiser to help Jackie replace everyday essentials, clothing, furniture, household items, and to give her a little breathing room as she rebuilds her home and gets back on her feet. If you're able to contribute, thank you. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If giving isn't possible right now, sharing this page and keeping Jackie, Berry, and Olive in your thoughts means just as much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're so grateful that Jackie is safe. Now let's help make sure she knows she doesn't have to navigate the next chapter alone. Berry and Olive have already resumed their regularly scheduled programming of demanding treats, judging everyone, and pretending none of this inconvenienced them in the slightest. Thank you for loving Jackie as well as we do.
</div>

Help Jackie, Berry & Olive Rebuild After Fire

<div>We are writing to you today, with a broken heart, Teddy became very poorly two weeks ago, An MRI on Friday showed that Teddys cancer had devastatingly come back at a highly aggressive rate. Due to this our goal has sadly had to change from getting Teddy to the USA for the DFMO trial, to making sure Teddy has everything he needs to keep him comfortable, whilst enjoying the moments we can with him and making memories whilst he still has the ability to do so. We appreciate every single donation, and can not thankyou enough, as this means that despite the fact we was due to go back to work in September, and being given 4 months to find a new home, as our landlord is selling our rental property we can now spend every moment loving on Teddy, without the fear of financial impact. We are still fighting, and looking at clinical trials but our priorities right now is comfort &amp; love. Cindy Liam &amp; Teddy xx
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jennifer, Teddy's grandmother, will be withdrawing and handling the funds on the family's behalf.

Support 5yr old Teddy through his brain cancer ❤️

<div>In 2025, Ashton was diagnosed with an incredibly rare and aggressive, one-in-a-million cancer—one that currently has no cure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The news was devastating. Yet if you know Ashton, you know she has met this diagnosis with remarkable courage and grace. In moments that would break most of us, she has chosen strength, becoming a steady light for everyone around her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As treatment continues, the financial strain has grown. Medical bills, daily expenses, lost income, and the uncertainty ahead have added immense pressure during an already overwhelming time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A small group of close friends has started this fundraiser to help ease that burden. With Ashton unable to work, every contribution provides stability and breathing room for her family. Our hope is simple: to give them the space to focus on what matters most—time together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you feel led to give, thank you. If you’re unable to donate, your prayers and sharing this page mean more than you know.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any support is deeply appreciated as Ashton and her family walk this road together.

Support for Ashton Dean and Family

<div>My name is Natalie Romero, and I’m creating this page for my father, Martin Romero. He has recently been deported to Mexico while battling several serious health conditions:
</div>
<div>	•	Lupus vasculitis
</div>
<div>	•	High blood pressure (hypertension)
</div>
<div>	•	Anemia
</div>
<div>	•	Kidney failure requiring ongoing dialysis
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He urgently needs consistent medical treatment to survive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This has been incredibly hard on our family. My dad has been in and out of the hospital due to complications from these illnesses, and his condition requires dialysis every other day. Now that he is in Mexico, our biggest concern is making sure he continues receiving the life-sustaining care he needs without interruption.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mom is currently the only one working and doing her best to cover household bills and medical expenses, but the costs of dialysis treatments, medications, specialist visits, and transportation to appointments are overwhelming. We are doing everything we can to ensure my dad has access to the care that will keep him stable and give him the best chance to keep fighting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are praying and trusting in God through this difficult time. Any support — whether through donations, sharing this page, or keeping us in your prayers — would truly mean so much to our family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anything helps, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and support ❤️

<div>This is my friend Jen. You probably know her because of her dog, Maggie, the rescue dog who changed her life and stole the hearts of the internet.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For years, this community has grown around these two, their relationship, and their advocacy. Jen has been a fierce advocate for Maggie, for rescues, for bully breeds, for reactive dogs, and for anyone who has been misunderstood and left on the outskirts.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I met Jen because she was desperately trying to save a street dog in Guatemala. Obviously, I immediately liked her. Over the past 3 years, she has become one of my very best friends.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>You don’t meet people like Jen very often. She is wildly intelligent, deeply passionate, and incredibly loyal to the people she loves and the causes she believes in. I’ve watched her move countries, upend her life for love (human and animal), and center her entire world around her dog. Jen has helped me through the loss of my soul dog, through situationship breakups, through changing jobs, moving, and has tirelessly supported my rescue efforts. When I have witnessed some of the most horrific abuse of animals in rescue or humans in my anti-trafficking work, Jen has sat on the phone while I sobbed and wailed. When I was stranded in a foreign country with rescue dogs due to weather, Jen rallied, donated, and helped with logistics. When I’ve taken on dog after dog in desperate condition, she has fundraised, edited my videos, and stood behind me 1000%.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have watched Jen give her energy and love to so many people, animals, and causes. Over the past few months, I’ve gotten to know some of her other good friends and they share all the same stories—time after time after time where Jen has been there for them in the most difficult moments of their lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are all here because Jen loved Maggie and shared that love with the world. We are all here because we support her message, her advocacy, and how deeply she loves those who need it the most.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And now, <strong>Jen needs us. Jen needs to be cared for, centered, prioritized, and supported in the ways she has done for everyone else around her.</strong>

</div>

<div>As with many people, Jen’s compassion is rooted in her own trauma. Her gentleness and understanding come from being hurt and misunderstood. Through raising Maggie, she broke cycles of abuse, and through breaking those cycles, she began to recognize how deeply her own upbringing impacted her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In losing Maggie, I watched Jen lose the primary source where she poured her energy. Without someone else’s trauma to heal, without someone else to build the best possible life for, she was left sitting with her own past. Anyone who has been a long-term caregiver knows it can be a confronting experience to finally have space for yourself. With no one else to focus on, she has been forced to finally focus on herself.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I believe this was Maggie’s parting gift to her. The tools to recognize these patterns, the strength to break them, and the promise that Jen made to Maggie that she would take care of what Maggie cared about the most on this earth—herself.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And now, I’m asking all of you to join me. The world needs more people like Jen. The rescue world needs more advocates like Jen. The Maggies of the world need moms like Jen.

</div>

<div><strong>I’m launching this fundraiser to honor Maggie’s legacy and to cultivate sustainable support for one of the fiercest, brightest, most compassionate advocates I know.</strong> She needs our help, and for the first time, it’s not for another rescue case but for herself.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>She has already taken the big and difficult step of enrolling in an intensive outpatient program. And like the brilliant nerd she is, she has been tackling it like it’s a graduate program. Her dedication to her healing is commendable and beautiful to watch unfold. I know on the other side of this, she will be an unstoppable force. She needs support in continuing her healing journey, and I’m asking this beautiful community to help fund her care.

</div>

<div>With love and gratitude in Maggie’s honor,

Support Jen's Healing Journey in Maggie's Honor

<div>Olive Jean is our sweet, goofy (some say a little derpy), deeply loved rescue girl.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She’s only 2.5 years old and she's got floppy ears, giant paws, expressive little eyebrows, and papa calls her the comedian dog. She was rescued from Houston the very day she was scheduled to be euthanized and transported to Chicago where she became the absolute center of our world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She’s playful, affectionate, curious, and full of life. She loves her neighborhood friends (she’s very popular), car rides, cookies, and being as close to her people as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And just a couple weeks ago… everything changed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After we noticed her limping, we we're back and forth to the vet — and within days, we were given a diagnosis we never expected for a dog this young: osteosarcoma (an aggressive bone cancer).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were all devastated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The only immediate option to relieve her pain and give her a chance to fight was to amputate her front leg. We had to move fast because she was hurting, this cancer is very aggressive, and we couldn’t bear to let her suffer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then, we’ve moved forward with everything we can to give Ollie the best possible chance:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She has undergone amputation surgery
</div>
<div>She has started chemotherapy
</div>
<div>She has been accepted into a promising Yale clinical trial vaccine program
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know the prognosis with osteosarcoma can be difficult. We are not naïve to that. But Olive is young. She is strong. She is full of life.
</div>
<div>And we believe she deserves every possible chance to fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This journey has been incredibly emotional and also incredibly expensive. Between emergency vet visits, diagnostic testing, surgery, medications, chemotherapy, and ongoing care (including regular X-rays, bloodwork, and monitoring as part of the clinical trial), the costs are significant and ongoing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve already taken on a large financial burden to get Olive this far, and we will continue to do everything we can for her, but we can’t do it alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation helps us continue her chemotherapy treatments, stay enrolled in the clinical trial, cover ongoing imaging and medical care
</div>
<div>and most importantly, give Olive more time, comfort, and a real chance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re not able to donate, sharing Olive’s story means just as much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Olive has already beaten the odds once... she was saved the day she was supposed to be euthanized and lived on the streets of Texas before that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We truly believe she’s meant to be here. And now, we’re just trying to give her the chance to keep fighting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for loving her with us.
</div>
<div><br />
