If you know Jackie, you know two things are true. First, she came to New York to pursue comedy. Second, she definitely did not intend to speedrun every worst-case apartment scenario.

Recently, a fire tore through Jackie's apartment building. Thankfully, Jackie and her two beloved cats, Berry and Olive, made it out safely. While we're incredibly grateful they're safe, many of Jackie's belongings did not.

Anyone who knows Jackie knows she's the kind of person who shows up for the people she loves. She's generous, resilient, endlessly funny, and somehow manages to find the humor in almost any situation. Even so, starting over after something like this is overwhelming.

We're creating this fundraiser to help Jackie replace everyday essentials, clothing, furniture, household items, and to give her a little breathing room as she rebuilds her home and gets back on her feet.
