What they care about

I care about feeding and educating children and young adults around the world, who don't have the same opportunities we have in the USA. They need a hand up!

Hello, my name is Jen Wilson and I am raising funds for my friend in Uganda and fellow member of Rotary International, who is working to provide wheelchairs to 10 individuals who desperately need one. GIVE THE GIFT OF MOBILITY: HELP US PROVIDE 10 WHEELCHAIRS Our first wheelchair donation campaign transformed lives by giving vulnerable children and adults the freedom to move, attend school, access healthcare, and live with greater dignity. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, many families experienced renewed hope, independence, and the joy of participating in everyday life once again. Today, we are raising funds for our second batch of 10 wheelchairs for individuals who are still waiting for this life-changing support. For many, every day is a struggle; children miss school because they cannot travel safely, while adults remain confined to their homes, relying on others for even the simplest tasks. For a child attending school, a wheelchair is more than a means of transport; it is a pathway to education, confidence, friendships, and the chance to dream of a brighter future. For an adult, it restores dignity, independence, and the opportunity to participate fully in family and community life. Behind every wheelchair is a person with dreams, hopes, and untapped potential. Your generosity can turn frustration into freedom, isolation into inclusion, and despair into hope. Like 44-year-old Harriet, a single mother of 3 who must crawl on the ground because of her disabilities and is quite helpless after her husband left her. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to changing another life. Together, we can give 10 more people the mobility, dignity, and opportunity they deserve. Join us in making a lasting difference. Your gift today can become someone’s freedom tomorrow.
My name is Jenni Wilson, and I live in Utah in the United States. Ten years ago, I lost my daughter to cancer. She was only 16 years old. Losing her changed me forever. It gave me a deeper love for children and a strong desire to make a difference where I can. One of the things I care about most now is helping children have opportunities—especially access to education. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a future, no matter where they were born or what their circumstances are. Supporting children like those Benard is caring for is one way I can honor my daughter’s life. In her memory, I want to help bring hope, stability, and opportunity to kids who need it most. Thank you for being part of that with me.

It breaks my heart to see kids going hungry, and having to repeat the same grade in school over and over. Yet, this is happening to so many kids in Uganda right now. And I love the verified work that Fahadi is doing to help these kids. Let's help!!
