Hurricane Melissa has devastated parts of Jamaica — and Western Jamaica has been among the hardest hit. Families have lost their homes, their livelihoods, and even the most basic necessities needed to survive. As daughters of Western Jamaica, Marsha and I have witnessed firsthand the strength, warmth, and resilience of our people. Seeing the destruction Hurricane Melissa has caused has deeply touched our hearts. We knew we couldn’t just sit and watch — we had to take action to help rebuild and restore hope. ⸻ Our Story We are Marsha and Patrice, founders of Isora Care Inc, and proud daughters of Western Jamaica. Our hearts and roots are deeply connected to the people and communities of our region, where we both grew up surrounded by kindness, resilience, and the spirit of togetherness that defines Jamaican life. After moving abroad to the United States, we founded Isora Care Inc with a shared vision — to give back, uplift others, and extend care beyond borders. Our organization was built on the belief that compassion and action can bring hope where it’s needed most. When Hurricane Melissa struck and we saw the devastation it brought to our hometown communities across Western Jamaica, we knew we had to act. Friends, family, and neighbors have lost nearly everything — homes, belongings, and the stability they worked so hard for. This fundraiser is our way of standing with them, of saying “we see you, we care, and we will help you rebuild.” Through Isora Care Inc, we are committed to turning compassion into action and ensuring that the people of Western Jamaica know they are not alone in this difficult time. Our Mission Through this fundraiser, Isora Care Inc aims to purchase and distribute essential supplies such as: • Non-perishable food items • Clean drinking water • Clothing and blankets • Hygiene kits (soap, toothpaste, sanitary products, etc.) • Basic household items (bedding, cooking utensils) Every dollar raised will go directly toward buying and delivering these essentials to families most in need across Western Jamaica. ⸻ How Your Donation Helps Your contribution — no matter the amount — can make a real and lasting impact: • $25 can provide food for a family for several days • $50 can supply hygiene kits and clean water • $100 can help a family replace lost household essentials ⸻ Together, We Can Rebuild Hope Now more than ever, the people of Western Jamaica need the love and support of caring individuals around the world.
