hi everyone! we want to start with the news we’ve been waiting and praying for so down deep in our hearts: our dad is finally home with us!
seeing him walk through the door after 3 months of an absence that hurt our souls is simply priceless we want to be completely transparent with all of you: thanks to the incredible hearts of everyone who supported us, we raised $6,700 all of that money went straight toward paying the habeas corpus, which was the miraculous key to getting him out of detention, and toward covering the most urgent bills for one month
during these 3 months, as his children, we had to grow up overnight, shoulder the weight of the household, and work nonstop to keep everything from falling apart we made a superhuman effort to keep things in order, but the reality is harsh: 3 months without the main provider and engine of the house leaves a massive financial void dad returned to a home full of accumulated debts that are currently drowning us
knowing he is free is only the first part of the miracle, but the legal battle is not over we still need to pay the remaining balance for the attorney and cover the costs of the whole process so he can stay here legally with us forever since it will still take some time for his work permit to arrive, we can't just sit here with our arms crossed watching him stress over the bills he has given everything for us, and now it’s our turn to have his back
that’s why we have a great idea, a project for the whole family: we want to buy a hot dog or torta cart something small, humble, but ours a family business where we can all work together to generate immediate income, pay off what is owed, cover the lawyer, and lift our home back up while things settle down legally it’s only a matter of time, and we have more than enough drive to move forward
today, we aren’t asking for help for the past—we are asking for a push toward our future your donation today is the seed that will allow our dad and our entire family to start working and building from the ground up
if you can’t donate, simply sharing our link helps us tremendously in making this dream a reality
thank you for not letting go of our hands and for helping us take care of our dad!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
