Hi friends and family, We are starting this GoFundMe to support our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. On February 26, 2026 , our dad was detained by ICE in Escondido, CA while on his way to pick us up from school. He was arrested right outside the Escondido Library, and since that moment, our lives haven’t been the same. Our dad is the heartbeat of our family. Without him, we are struggling to stay afloat. The funds raised will go toward the overwhelming legal fees required to fight his case, which have already been extremely costly just to begin. They will also help support our family’s basic needs and housing, as he was the primary person responsible for paying rent. We have used all of our savings on legal expenses, and we are now three months behind on rent and at risk of losing our home. If you know our dad, you know his incredible work ethic, his sense of humor, and how deeply he loves and supports his family.
