I am absolutely staggered by your generosity. We have already reached the first tranche of our funding goal, and together have built up over 1/7th of the cost of treatment in under two days!!! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support. I’ll be forging ahead with sharing and spreading the word - you’ve all made me believe it really will be possible to get treatment, and I’m determined to see it though. Thank you for being such excellent examples of humanity and rallying together as a community! I’ve also been trying to raise awareness of the funding gap in Ontario for treatments like these, as the government guts the safety-net programs which were designed to apply to such circumstances. My strong hope is that we can find a way to prevent future patients from finding themselves in this situation.
