On March 14, 2026, my family experienced the loss of my wife's mother, Peggy Abanilla. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, and widow of Navy veteran Rolando Abanilla, who served on the USS New Jersey (BB-62) as part of the Blue Water Navy. Rolando passed away in 2008, and Peggy has carried his memory with her ever since. Her wish was to be reunited with her husband, her hero, and her sailor, so that together they could rest in peace.

With Peggy's passing, we are faced with the challenge of honoring her final wishes. The funeral home in El Paso, Texas, will help prepare Peggy for her journey, and we have arranged for her to be flown to Riverside, California, where she will be laid to rest with Rolando. The costs for the funeral homes, transportation, and services are significant, and we want to ensure Peggy receives the farewell she deserves.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who feels moved by Peggy's story to ask for support. Now that Peggy has passed on, we know she is with Rolando—together again, their love crossing worlds and time. Death is not the end of a journey, but a passage to our loved ones who watch over us. Any help you can offer will mean so much to our family as we honor Peggy's memory and fulfill her final wish.

Help Peggy Rest With Her Husband

Whitehouse, Jamaica is a close-knit community of about 4,000 people, and it has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. The storm struck near the eye, causing severe damage to homes, businesses, and churches. Many families lost their homes entirely, while others had their rooftops torn away, leaving everything inside exposed to the rain and wind. The need for food and clean water is urgent, as many people are struggling to meet their basic needs in the aftermath.

I am starting this fundraiser to help my family, friends, and neighbors begin to rebuild. The Williams Family, the Maxam Family—including my special needs family members—the Lee Family, and the Pullar family in Savanalamar are among those who have been hit hardest. These families have lost not only their homes but also their belongings and sense of security. Children in our community will need new uniforms and school supplies to return to school, and local shops need help to reopen so the community can recover.

Funds raised will go directly toward rebuilding stronger roofs, repairing and reconstructing homes and shops, replacing lost belongings, and providing food and drinking water. With hurricane season lasting until November 30, there is an urgent need to make repairs and provide support before more storms arrive. Every contribution will help Whitehouse recover and give hope to families facing an uncertain future.

I’m 52 and I was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It is an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and has already spread to my lymph nodes near my left breast since my original diagnosis in June 2023. An MRI biopsy in September 2023 confirmed another tumor in my right breast. My goal is to continue to work as I go through my treatment.

As most already know, I suffered a heart attack on April 8, 2022, which caused me to exhaust all my sick leave from work as I recovered and completed Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Because I don’t have any medical leave, I had to request advanced sick leave, which put me in the negative when I have my medical appointments. On December 6, 2023, I had lumpectomy surgery on both breasts. I will be starting radiation treatment very soon. It’s going to be a long, tough road for me (BUT GOD!!), and any donations would be much appreciated. This GoFundMe is to assist with ALL expenses (bloodwork, medications, radiation, doctor visits, biopsies, MRIs, CT scans, PET scans, hospital stays, various procedures, on top of my monthly bills) as I get ready to beat the breaks off breast cancer! Any donations that may be left over and not used for my expenses will be paid forward to someone else in need or charity! Words can’t express how much I immensely appreciate all the love, support, and prayers I have received thus far in my cancer journey. Thank you all so much and God Bless! ️

Help Joy Triumph Over CHF & Breast Cancer!

Hi, my name is Pauline and I'm fundraising for Oraine Simpson to assist with the cost of dialysis and the medications needed daily to sustain his life. Oraine has been on dialysis since the age of 17 and remains very positive and upbeat regardless of the many challenges, including a much needed surgery to remove his Parathyroid glands. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will be a blessing to Oraine. Thanking you all and may God bless you.

Nate Sasser is in need of emergency financial support to obtain medical supplies and a prosthesis. His Mother (Kim Sasser) and family request help on his behalf.

Nate's left foot was severed and his leg was amputated after being struck on his motorcycle. The hit and run accident took place on Friday June 26th, 2020. Videos of the scene capture bystanders trying to help as Nate cries out in pain and police merely look on.

Care provided by the hospitals was inadequate. Due to unclean conditions, a lack of empathy from staff and their inability to manage his healing Nate had to leave there.

He and his family now face unexpected challenges in accommodating a vast array of medical needs at home. This is why they are reaching out for support at this time.

A father to six children, Nate is loved and needed by many. In spite of all obstacles he is a strong, courageous individual who remains positive and focused on healing.

Anything that can be done to help uplift and support Nate and his family through this crisis is greatly appreciated!

Emergency Support for Nate

Thanks for visiting our page! Please take a moment to read our story...

If you look at Cici's right eye (on the left in the picture) you'll see that there's a bump in the inner corner of her eyelid.

You might look at it and say "that's not so bad..." Well, that's what we thought.

Our surgeon has told us that the bump we can see is only a small fraction of the cysts in that region. As much as three times more is extending deeper into the region between her eye and her nose.

Left to themselves the cysts will continue to grow, eventually affecting Cici's vision and of course her appearance.

The position of the cysts makes them very difficult to get to. The doctors can't go through a small incision in her eyelid -- there's just too many cysts, and no guarantee that approach would reach them all. And nobody wants to go in by the space between her eyes -- that would leave her horribly scarred. So there's one other option...

It's really emotional for us to think, talk, write about this. Did you ever see the movie FaceOff? That's... not too far from what the doctors have to do. Less dramatic, less extensive... but that's the basic idea.

The initial surgery we had planned on -- the small incision on her eyelid -- was within our financial reach. Barely. But this is beyond our current resources. So we're putting this out there, hoping that we will find gracious and generous hearts to help us take care of our baby.

We are scheduled for surgery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for May 2, 2018. Your kind donation will help us to pay for the surgery, recovery, and the surrounding expenses. Thank you for your gracious financial support!

For those of you who only know us from a distance, please know that we are a family of faith. We trust that there is a God in heaven, that Jesus is his Son, that "with his stripes we are healed," and that we will see the fulfillment of that promise. Perhaps not immediately, but certainly when Jesus returns to transform our weak bodies to be like his.

We look forward to that day, and we praise God for the echoes of eternity that he gives by healing people all the time. We're trusting that he will do the same for Cici. And so, whether or not you can make a financial contribution, we are genuinely appreciative of your prayers on our behalf.

If you want to know more, or express your support, please reach out to us at http://facebook.com/donniekmartin or http://twitter.com/dkmartin. Two years ago I found out I was the father of a 9 month old baby boy named Colton. The call came as a surprise to me, being that I had never even known his mother was pregnant, because shortly after our encounter she moved from Ohio back to Kentucky.

By the time she told me about him, he had already been in the temporary custody of her 1/2 sister. Colton's mother had gotten involved in drugs and had lost custody to the state. After talking to the Kentucky Child and Family Services, I learned that there was a court date coming up. I attended the court date, went before the judge and asked for a DNA test.

The next court date after the DNA test the judge asked me what were my wishes, my response was "your honor I just want my son". The judge seemed to be in my favor, and the Kentucky CFS assured me that my child would be placed in my custody once he had been acclimated to me. After a couple months of weekend visits, I felt like my son knew I was his father and should be with me. This request was only met with roadblocks and diversions, finally I was told that the entire case had been moved to a totally different county!

I decided to get a lawyer that I could afford, he drug his feet until it was time to do actual work, at that time he told me he couldn't represent me due to a conflict of interest, an associate of his was representing my child's mother. I got a 2nd lawyer and this guy only wanted money money and more money. He didn't do anything, I actually ended losing 2 of my weekends a month, out of the deal and he still wanted more money. When I told him I need results, I was then notified through mail from the court that he was no longer representing me.

This leads me to where I am today, today my son is still in the custody of his mother's 1/2 sister. I still get him every other weekend, and I pay them $200 a week for child support. His aunt has taught him to call her "Mommy" and her boyfriend "Daddy", they even went as far as to teach my son to call me "Daddy Brian", as if he has 2 fathers which is insane to me. There is no reason why my child shouldn't be with me, other than the fact that his aunt and her boyfriend have been unsuccessful in their attempts to have their own.

A few people suggested that I create this campaign to get a really good lawyer, so if you can help thank you, if you can't please pass this story along at least. My hope is to get a not only a good lawyer, but a lawyer who also cares. All I want is to be the best father I can be, I can no longer remain a part time father to a full time son!

Thank you for taking the time to read my story! God bless you

Fighting to be a Father

Hello my name is Vanessa Clark botello, I am 24 years old and I am creating this go fund account in order to be able to spend the last moments of my husband's life by his side. The stress and burden of having to worry about life's everyday bills is weighing me down when; instead, I want to be able to be fully present with my husband and our girls. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and after fighting it with all of his might, my husband is losing. Hospice is setting up at our home and I want to be able to be with my husband for as long as I can, if you are able to spare any amount I would greatly appreciate it and will forever be grateful. Mario and I have 3 daughters and although he will not be able to live on this earth for long, he will live through our girls forever.
