<div>Dear friends and community,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This year in less than a few weeks is the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Like so many of my friends, I still vividly remember that tragic day. On that day, 1000s of men and women risked their lives to help save the 1000s of Americans who were trapped in the towers. Many of those souls were lost. While there are several great organizations who support our first responders and our Veterans, there are few that do it better with more pride and professionalism than The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>T2T’s mission extends to honoring our military and first responders who continue to serve selflessly, often putting their lives on the line for our safety. By contributing to this cause, you are helping to uphold their legacy and support those in need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will make a tangible difference as T2T:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Provides mortgage-free homes to the families of fallen first responders.
</li>
<li>Assists injured military veterans with adaptive housing solutions.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nothing can ever replace the life of someone lost to bravery, but T2T does the work to help those heroes and their families recover.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So, I can think of no better way to honor the men and women who lost their lives in 9/11 and to Never Forget that day than to start a fundraiser to support T2T and the great work they do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please join me (if you are willing and able) to do the same - either with your own fundraiser, or contribute to mine, or contribute directly to T2T.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please visit <a href="https://www.t2t.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.t2t.org</a> to learn more about this great organization.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But please take a moment to do something this September to honor all who were lost and injured that day, and to help those who 25 years on fight for their memory and to help to heal the lives of our first responders and their families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is to raise $25,000 for T2T and I will match every dollar donated to my campaign up to that amount.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s do this together. Thank you!
</div>

<div>ESPAÑOL:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Pañales
</div>
<div>• Toallitas húmedas
</div>
<div>• Fórmula infantil
</div>
<div>• Teteros (biberones)
</div>
<div>• Chupones
</div>
<div>• Mantitas
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ENGLISH:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Claudia, I’m a Venezuelan mother living in Miami, and like so many of you, I've been heartbroken watching the devastation caused by the earthquakes in Venezuela. The images are especially painful as a mother. Seeing children who have lost everything, including, in many cases, their parents, has been impossible to ignore.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm starting this fundraiser to support the children affected by this tragedy. Every dollar donated will go directly toward purchasing essential baby and children's supplies, including:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Diapers
</div>
<div>• Baby wipes
</div>
<div>• Formula
</div>
<div>• Baby bottles
</div>
<div>• Pacifiers
</div>
<div>• Blankets
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will personally purchase these items and deliver them the official collection center GEM (We Love Venezuela Foundation) that is sending humanitarian aid to Venezuela. By buying these specific supplies myself, I hope to ensure that this support reaches the children who need it most. No donation is too small. If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser will also be of great help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping me bring a little comfort to Venezuela's youngest survivors.

<div>It is with the heaviest of hearts that I’m sharing this story on behalf of two of the most wonderful people, Rachel and Josh Dutro, who are facing a journey no parent should ever have to endure. Just a few short weeks ago, their beautiful, 7-month-old daughter, Cassie, was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, a rare and devastating genetic disorder. Cassie’s bright smile, infectious giggles, and sweet spirit light up the lives of everyone around her, but now, she faces a battle no one could have ever anticipated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>About Cassie and Her Journey:</strong>
</div>
<div>Cassie was born in February 2024, and she brought more joy than words can express to Rachel and Josh, who had been high school sweethearts together for 12 years and married for the last 3. They live in Richmond, Virginia, with their beloved fur babies, Mookie, Poppy, Tybee, and Salem, who all adore their baby sister.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Around 4 months of age, Cassie started showing symptoms that concerned her parents—developmental delays, muscle weakness, and other unexplained issues. Rachel and Josh tirelessly advocated for answers, and after countless appointments, tests, and sleepless nights, they received the heartbreaking diagnosis: Krabbe Disease.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Children with Krabbe Disease experience a rapid deterioration of motor skills and cognitive abilities as the disease progresses. The life expectancy for children diagnosed with infantile-onset Krabbe Disease is typically around two years. While nothing can prepare any family for such an impossible diagnosis, Rachel and Josh have shown incredible strength and resilience, facing this unimaginable journey with love, courage, and grace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why We’re Asking for Help:</strong>
</div>
<div>Though there is no cure for Krabbe Disease, there are treatments aimed at managing symptoms and making Cassie as comfortable as possible. However, these treatments are costly and will require the family to travel to specialized clinics, cover ongoing medical expenses, and eventually, face heartbreaking end-of-life care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on Rachel and Josh, allowing them to focus on spending every precious moment with their baby girl, Cassie, without the additional stress of overwhelming medical bills and other expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your donations will go directly towards:</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>- Medical bills and specialized treatments</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>- Travel costs to clinics</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>- End-of-life care and arrangements</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>- Allowing Rachel and Josh to take time off work to be by Cassie’s side every step of the way</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>About Krabbe Disease:</strong>
</div>
<div>Krabbe Disease is an incredibly rare, inherited disorder that affects the body’s ability to produce myelin, the protective covering around nerve cells. Without this protection, the nervous system breaks down, and the disease progresses rapidly. Early symptoms include irritability, feeding difficulties, muscle weakness, and developmental delays, all of which Cassie has already begun to experience. As the disease progresses, children lose their ability to move, speak, and even smile. Over time, most children with this diagnosis require round-the-clock care, and the average life expectancy is just two years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krabbe Disease is a devastating diagnosis for any family, and it is considered 100% fatal. The impact on families like Rachel and Josh's is profound, not just emotionally but financially and logistically as well. Despite this, they remain focused on giving Cassie the most love-filled, joy-packed life they can for as long as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help:</strong>
</div>
<div>No parent should have to endure the pain and hardship of watching their child suffer from such a cruel disease. Rachel and Josh are doing everything they can to provide Cassie with comfort and happiness in the time they have with her, but they need your help. Whether you can contribute financially or simply share this page to spread awareness, every bit of support counts. Let’s help ease their burden, if only a little, and surround them with the love, compassion, and strength they need during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and support. Please keep the Dutro family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable journey with their sweet Cassie.

<div>Hello. My name is DeJuan Strickland. I am 14 years old. I have started a new initiative to help eliminate students' negative lunch balances. This is important to me because sometimes the only nutritious meal for kids is at school. So, if they don’t have any money to get a meal it’s a problem. The first school we are starting at is McCurdy Elementary. 100 % of the funds raised go directly to McCurdy Elementary. So please share this GoFundMe with your family and friends. Thank you so much for your support!

<div>________________________________________
</div>
<div> Our story begins with a vision: a colorful trolley rolling through neighborhoods, carrying the gift of literature to young minds eager for adventure. This book haven on wheels aims to break down barriers and provide access to books that traditional libraries can't reach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Three pillars of our project ensure that every child, regardless of where they live or their family's resources, has access to the boundless worlds contained within books. With free book vending machines, we plant seeds of adventure in the concrete jungle, offering stories to those who might walk by without a second glance. Our pop-up bookstores create temporary sanctuaries of literature, beckoning the community to pause and revel in the joy of reading. Meanwhile, Stoop Storytime knits the fabric of our neighborhoods tighter, fostering a communal spirit of sharing and storytelling.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As the wheels of the Book Trolley turn, so do the pages of countless stories waiting to be discovered. Imagine children laughing, learning, and immersing themselves in the enchanting world of books right outside their doorstep.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But every magical journey requires a bit of help from our community heroes. This is where you come in! By supporting our GoFundMe campaign, you become a part of this incredible tale. <strong>Your contribution will help us bring the Book Trolley to life, ensuring that no child is left without the joy and knowledge found in the pages of a good book.</strong>
</div>
