<div>Hi, my name is Sherry and I'm helping my friend <strong>Debbie George</strong> with this GoFundMe page.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On January 2, 2026, <strong>Debbie had a fall at home and sustained serious injuries that don't allow her to work.</strong> She was in the hospital and now is at home in rehabilitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the past 20 years Debbie has worked as a caregiver and helps many people in the KC area. Since her accident, she is unable to work and will be out of work for an unknown amount of time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Please help Debbie with incoming bills.</strong> Any amount, no matter how small, will help relieve the financial burden Debbie is now facing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion for our friend Debbie.
</div>

Help Debbie George Heal and Cover Expenses

<div>Our dearest Andrew left us suddenly on 9/19/25. Drew was the most amazing father, husband, son, uncle, and friend. He will be missed greatly by anyone who knew him, especially his wife (Lillian), daughter (Victoria), son (Andrew), and his grandchildren (Liam and Aurora), who he loved more than anything in this world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Anna Kriebel. <strong>Drew Wirkowski was my uncle, and also the man that raised me</strong> when I hit the darkest point in my life, leaving me without a home. He took me in and became my legal parent without hesitation, despite changing family dynamics and added costs. Almost immediately, he took me on my first vacation to the beach just to make me smile. He gave me the life I didn't think was going to be possible. He didn't treat me any differently from his other children. Within a year and a half, he bought a new home so I could have my own room.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you were lucky enough to know Drew, you know he was the one to help any and everyone that needed it, regardless of if he could afford it. He did it with a big warm smile and a joke or two. Drew was the glue that held everyone together. He was also a fully devoted member of his church, Allison Park Church. He also served his country in the United States Navy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This is our time to give back to him. To give to his heartbroken wife and children.</strong>
</div>
<div>His family is devastated (to say the least) over Drew's very sudden passing and were financially unprepared for the expense of a funeral and cremation. If you are able to donate, his family would be very grateful. Any amount will help this family in need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div>Anna Kriebel
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>* I wanted to add that all funds will be going directly to Drew's wife and daughter. If you have any questions at all , please feel free to message me!
</div>

In loving memory of Andrew Wirkowski

<div>Sadly while excitedly putting together all to begin releasing &amp; promoting my first full

</div>

<div>length solo project-featuring Bakithi Kumalo, June Millington plus a few special surprise guests AND while Broadcasting my Rhythm Games Health Rhythms programs to Youth experiencing homelessness- a previously unknown birth defect came to light in my body &amp; is causing me to now need my aortic heart valve replaced.

</div>

<div>The rest of my heart is strong &amp; my arteries are clear. It's just this valve.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>The doctors say I'm asymptomatic (tho more symptoms have appeared recently. ) We caught it when red flags came up on a routine echocardiogram.

</div>

<div>Thank goodness.

</div>

<div>You can hear the shortness of breath in my voice. Hence why I am writing you now.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>This was of course totally unexpected and is scary AF.

</div>

<div>Yet I'm grateful we caught it before more terrible things happened.

</div>

<div>It would have &amp; soon.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>Fortunately, with a history of heart disease in my family, I have been under cardiac care for many years. (Nothing wrong-just checking...)

</div>

<div>And yet in spite of this attention… things went south. ( Of course, Covid interrupted testing for 2+yrs...)

</div>

<div>It caught all of us out of the blue.

</div>

<div>The birth defect being the X factor.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Knowing I am fairly healthy and strong otherwise eases my mind greatly yet I am up against a unique obstacle here with a few difficult aspects.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Beyond the total shock of it all...

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>There is the Loss of all

</div>

<div>Income I may have created since Covid (as the doctors do not want me doing anything that gets my heart pumping...exertion. I have already had to cancel most gigs &amp; push back most programs.)

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Plus the new reality includes that I'm in need of housing in Pittsburgh that accommodates all of my crazy health needs now over the next 6-7 mo period starting now.

</div>

<div>(Unfortunately, my housemate has fallen severely ill, so it is not a place for me to be anymore. The house &amp; our agreement was never set up that way.)

</div>

<div>I've been commuting between the school/ studio I have worked with since their early days (IMA.ORG) &amp; was planning on heading west to begin selling off more drums &amp; gear later this fall.)

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>With the scheduling of procedures &amp; appts. being tricky due to an industry understaffed due to Covid.... it's taking longer than I anticipated.

</div>

<div>Plus the birth defect means a 2nd opinion is def needed ...

</div>

<div>Mainly about the "how".

</div>

<div>For sure, this must be done. Deciding how and when are all that's left to do.✨♥️

</div>

<div>I am hoping it relieves a number of problems that have been with me forever, it seems. And others that I believe never were problems. Now I know why.

</div>

<div>***

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>After assessing needs &amp; running numbers-the easiest and most cost-effective way for all, including me, my body, the needs of my present lifestyle, family &amp; friends (needed helpers) is to get an "extended stay (handicapped room.) " for 3-4 months in the city of Pittsburgh where I do have insurance and there is a strong health team of surgeons there who have experienced handling this kind of unique situation.

</div>

<div>I may need to cover 6-8 months depending on the procedure they decide is best and the recuperation process.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Tho mostly asymptomatic, I have recently started experiencing more symptoms.

</div>

<div>I must go easier my cardiologist says until we can move this along. I am moving into an ‘extended stay’ for two weeks until my sublet opens up. This way I will have all I need at my fingertips in a cool environment with very little physical effort on my part.

</div>

<div>(When it rains it pours. The AC in my van broke down on the first day of this heat wave. Everybody is booked for over two weeks. That money needed to fix is not included yet of course needed. Thank you for your support &amp; consideration. AC is critical to my health during this time before surgery.)

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>I am very very grateful to say that I have been able to secure a wonderful &amp; accommodating &amp; sublet starting in two weeks through the middle of October on the east side of town which is where my storage and doctors are located.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>I will be at an ‘extended stay’ for two weeks in order to try to get as much done as possible , complete all doctor appointments and procedures to date, and keep my health progressing upward in AC.

</div>

<div>The humidity dramatically makes it more difficult for me to breathe.

</div>

<div>Yet I must still make gentle efforts to do light strength training (sandbags) &amp; drop a few more pounds.(lost approx 25 lbs since pandemic!) Eating steamed broccoli is my joint! ;)

</div>

<div>All of this will help me get through the surgery and rehabilitation easier.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>And of course I'm trying to keep my business together as much as possible before I am completely down for 3-4 mo.

</div>

<div>Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

</div>

<div>==================

</div>

<div>(To friends &amp; family offering alternative housing, I greatly appreciate your genuine offering &amp; loving kindness. Thank you for your love.

</div>

<div>This is scary AF &amp; is going to take everything I have to give to recuperate fully and quickly.

</div>

<div>I hope you understand.

</div>

<div>And I hope you all will visit.♥️)

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Again, We have not yet determined how to proceed as this defect poses some different situations. One method will have a dramatically longer &amp; more challenging recovery time. We'll see. The next round of tests will tell us much more.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Yet It is very probable I will not be able to work full on for 4 to 6 months.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Fortunately health insurance is mostly in place tho specialists due to the nature of the defect and treatment options may need your support too.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>My bills are minimal.

</div>

<div>I've learned how to pull my belt in hard. And I know how to pull myself up from my bootstraps.

</div>

<div>Storage on both coasts is my largest individual cost.

</div>

<div>(Want to cover just that ?- email me.

</div>

<div>Let's talk.)

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>This "GO FUND ME" will be open-ended for now. My first goal is $30k and covers nearly 7.5 months of expenses at current prices (including GoFundMe Fees) Plus, undergoing open heart surgery to correct the problem caused by this birth defect.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>I sincerely appreciate each one of your considerations, thoughts &amp; offerings to help in whatever way you can.

</div>

<div>I know things are tough all over. I've been pulling up my bootstraps for a while now tho clearly it's now time I reach out for help as this is no joke &amp; there is no time to prepare.

</div>

<div>It's very humbling to have something like this come up and stop you cold &amp; literally be a matter of life &amp; death. Asking for help is not easy.

</div>

<div>"Let goodness in. Let people help." This is what came to me today in my meditation. So I am asking.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>If I had a house to draw upon or a credit card to draw upon I would. Please know I do not and I appreciate every offering of love.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Thank you. Please give when you can &amp; please share. Thanks to all of my friends who have already jumped in to help. I love you all.

</div>

<div>More soon. Stay tuned. I am determined to overcome this challenge and continue spreading joy, wellness, &amp; happiness through group drumming.

</div>

<div>And Thank you from the bottom of my bottomless heart.

Open Heart Surgery due to unknown Birth Defect

<div>On Saturday October 14th a fire broke out on Cherry St. in Etna, PA. As of yet nobody knows what caused the fire, but an elderly couple (Linda and Rick) and their two grandchildren (Jayceona and Bailey) were inside. Thankfully they were able to get out safely, before the fire destroyed their home. They are going to have to find a new home, and replace all they have lost. We are reaching out to any friends, neighbors, or even strangers to pitch in a little bit if you can. These are good people and would give you the shirt off of their back if needed, and they just had their home they’ve lived in and grew up in destroyed. Anything would be helpful at this moment.

Brittani Van Gorder, Linda Pachulski house fire

<div>Hi all . My good friend Julie was diagnosed with a brain tumor just two days ago. In her early 40s a hard working mom with two adorable boys. Jewles as her friends call her is a server for a living and will be without income for quite some time while she has surgery to remove her tumor and heal. She has lots of love and support around her. Any little bit will help and be greatly appreciated
</div>

Julie’s medical expenses

<div>Hello my name is Parese and I am writing this because I want to give my mom, Yolanda Barber the home going service that she deserves. To honor her memory and to say our last goodbyes to a mother who loved her children. I am currently asking for donations to assist with sending her home. She was adored by all and we will mourn her soul forever. It is extreme sadness for her children because she passed unexpectedly. She touched many lives in her lifetime and it is our turn to give back to her. Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can. Thank you and god bless you.
</div>

Home going service for Yolanda

Today I watched as my cousin Josh took his last breath on life support. As many of you know he was pronounced brain dead on Wednesday. We thank everyone for their prayers but his body could not hang on any longer.  For anybody that knew him you know what a genuine human being he was.  Taken at just 25 years of age our family struggles to find some type of peace. None of us were prepared for what has taken place especially his mother, nunnie, Allexus and Angelo. All of us had faith that he could overcome what he was going through, living and on life support.  Unfortunately the family is unprepared for such costs that have occurred. Between the funeral and days on life support the bills will begin to pile up.  I have organized this gofund me in hopes we can share some of the financial burdens with the people that know and love us. If there is anything you can give you can contact me directly or donate here.  His family is paralyzed with grief and I am trying to do what I can to ease some of their burdens.  I do not know how we/they will ever recover. We are truly broken.

In loving memory of Joshua Mack

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am in involved in an extremely stressful child custody case. My sons mother recently started dating a two time felon for heroin and crack distribution and spent 11 years in prison as a result. He was also on trial for murder but as a result of witnesses being afraid to testify, he was acquitted. <br />The Judge ordered her not to have him around my son, but she continued to violate the order 6 more time, with my son being hurt twice. She has handcuffed me financially as she refuses to give my 50/50 custody, and asked for more child support because she already has him an extra day, when I found out she was violating the order. <br />Now I can no longer afford the attorney I was planning on getting. The previous attorney I used has made things worse, and I’ve already paid them more than 9000.00 of money I really can’t afford. Now that I have to pay her close to 900.00 a month, it’s virtually impossible to get the help i need, which was her purpose.<br />She has been telling my son to lie to his therapist on top of this all as she is what’s known as a covert narcissist. She lives with her parents and pays no bills there going on 5 years! I may lose my home if this continues much longer. Please help me save my son from this extremely abusive woman. She views him as a paycheck, and does not have his best interest in mind. <br />Please help. This is my last resort to save him.<br />Please.<br />Thank you

Help save my son

Rich Dieter needs our help. You may know Rich as Founder &amp; President of The Bridge Music Hall, or as “the music guy” from Wallace’s Whisky Room &amp; Kitchen at the Hotel Indigo in East Liberty, or from his countless other roles in music promotion and community organizing - and even if you don’t know Rich at all, he’s the kind of guy who would still help you out in a pinch.<br /><br />Rich is undergoing treatment for a number of medical conditions, including several malignant tumors (all of which are responding favorably to treatment), a post-op infection from recent surgery, and a loss of lower limb mobility during his hospitalizations. We are getting the right care team in place and arranging for appropriate equipment and therapy, but meanwhile we are battling for Medicare coverage, and unreimbursable expenses are accruing at an alarming rate.<br /><br />Rich has always been there for every community of which he's been a part. Now it's time for us to help him. Please donate generously (and “Like” and “Share”) so that Rich doesn't have to worry about medical bills, and can instead focus on his recovery and on his beloved community activities.

So this is my very best friend in the universe and her husband. I met her on our very first day of high school in our homeroom and we became fast friends :)<br />We have been by each others sides through the births of my 3 kids, losing her grandmother and my father and 2 divorces.<br />Fast forward to yesterday when Brian is, as usual, helping someone. Sadly, an accident occured. Brian fell off a 40 foot roof and completely shattered his spine. The doctors have told him he will never walk again. I wish to believe different, but to get to that point they will need help. <br />As we all know in this day and age insurance coverage is sparse at best.  Because of this, I am asking for some help  for these two, as they have touched so many lives and have so many wonderful friends. They would be by anyone's side whom they love to do  whatever is needed. I know because they have done it for me. <br />The amount of medical bills from the surgery, ICU stay, transport back to Pittsburgh and rehab are going to be extremely high.<br />Please give what you can to help them, as every little bit helps. In addition, please keep the prayers coming because miracles do happen.

Support the Helms

My name is Krissy DiStefano. Her name is Dolores she is 72 years old and she lives in alone in a house that she owns in the Hill District of Pittsburgh. One of her neighbors called to complain about the appearance of her home and a city inspector gave her several citations. The house is in pretty bad shape but it only needs a few  ( major) things done to it to get the city off of her back. Unfortunately Dolores is on dialysis three days a week and lives alone and has no money to make the repairs, nothing. She was given 60 days to get the house in shape. I do not know her but I want to help! I'm hoping to try and get people to help her get her house together so that she doesn't get fined or even, if you can believe this, go to jail! <br />Several people have pledged support in the form of skills and labor. The lumber and paint have been pledged as well.  We need money for materials such as new gutters, flashing, roof repairs and landscaping along with whatever else we may come across during the fix. I was in the courtroom for a reason that day. It was to hear her story and do whatever I could to help.  Thank you in advance for your assistance in getting this job done and done right! The people of Pittsburgh are the greatest people on earth!!
