My fiance and the love of my life, and beyond Brook Voigt, is a wonderful and compassionate man and my all and everything. I cant imagine a life without this beautiful soul. It has been challenging for us these last years but we are beyond grateful. Brook's father, Bob, has been in his 4th stage of Pancreatic cancer and we put our property up for sale, at a very low price, to get over to Hawaii. We aimed to get there asap, to take care of, and be with his father, Bob, stepmother, Dee and younger brother, Jeff. Brook suffered a mild heart attack a few months ago, and had a stent put in. He is such a strong and great spirited soulful man and we have been managing. Just a couple of weeks ago, Dee, his stepmother, fell and broke her back. Brook lowered our property even lower and we are now in Escrow. The stress of all of this, has really taken its toll, and just three days ago, Brook suffered heart failure. Thank GOD, he is ok. He just went into surgery this morning, for a pacemaker (defibrillator) and thanks be, came out successfully. I am beyond thankful and grateful. Blessed. We are meant to leave for Maui in less than three weeks. Our funds from the property sale will provide us travel there, a home for rent for us and his family, for at least a solid six months and pay off some of our bills. I will also sell my infinity to help cover some costs. I am asking for five thousand to help me secure a car when we arrive in Hawaii. So i can immediately apply for a job and be able to shuffle Brook and his father around, to doctor appointments and handle responsibilities, and run family errands for all of us. Any help or assistance would be much appreciated and most grateful. More than anything, we are just grateful for our friends and family, and well wishes. We love you all. Sincerely and with utmost love and gratitude, Kristen Ann Ozuna and Brook Voigt

Randee's funeral expenses and move back to AZ.

On May 11, 2021 Katie was involved in a catastrophic event when a large pick-up truck towing a loaded trailer t-boned her car. Tony, her beloved husband of almost 8 years, passed away in the accident and Katie was flown to a trauma center in Phoenix. Katie was placed on life support for over a week, but has recently been taken off--she is getting stronger by the day and should hopefully be moved out of ICU soon! Katie is now recovering from some very significant and painful physical injuries, along with recovering emotionally from the loss of Tony and the loss of our Daddy just 4 days before the accident. She has a long road of recovery before her, and the financial stability of her future is uncertain. I know so many people love my sister and recognize her for the strong badass she is--we will get her through this, but of course any help is appreciated ❤️

Recovery for Katie

On the 29th February 2020, Zoe lost all the feeling below her waist, after suffering with an extremely painful bad back for just over a week. It was the day of her daughters first birthday party.

Once rushed to hospital an MRI scan exposed a herniated disc at L4/L5 that was crushing her spinal cord, specifically the Cauda Equina bundle of nerves. She needed emergency surgery to prevent her from being permanently paralysed.

The surgery stopped her from becoming wheel chair bound but sadly damage was still done resulting in her mobility, bladder, bowels and sensation being effected long term.

Zoe was released from hospital and the country went in to lockdown as a result of the pandemic, isolating her, her husband and 1 year old daughter from any family or ongoing medical or support. She was not able to access inpatient rehabilitation due to COVID 19 forcing hospitals reprioritise their resources.

Her inpatient rehabilitation was repeatedly rescheduled as lockdown after lockdown, the fall out of the pandemic took hold. 13 months later she is still yet to receive this care.

Spinal cord injury recovery heavily relies on retraining your muscles, spinal cord, and brain to work in sync again through consistent repetition, but she has not received any physio, losing out on a whole year of rehabilitation.

Her legs are weak and she is now dependent on her crutches. As she lives 3rd floor flat without any lift access she is pretty much housebound.

Zoe was an active 36 year old busy working Mum. She now suffers with chronic pain, reduced and altered sensation in areas below the waist, neurogenic bladder and bowel issues, pelvic pain, postural distortions, spasticity and despite her resilience and positivity this injury has had a significant psychological impact on Zoe and her small family.

As Zoe is self employed she sadly lost all of her income as a result of her injury and ongoing untreated issues. Her husband DJ Kane the Drum and Bass DJ has had to fall in to the role of a primary carer for Zoe and their daughter while also dealing with the effects the pandemic has had on his industry. These combined circumstances have prevented access to private treatment for Zoe.

Zoe is a hard working Project Manager and loving mum. Please help us to help Zoe heal and transition back in to everyday life.

Help Support Zoe to Heal After Spinal Cord Injury

Jeff and Liz Felo

We are Sk8 Liborius and Liborius Urban Arts Studios (LUAS), a one-of-a-kind skate park housed within a previously abandoned, 19th-century Gothic Cathedral in north St. Louis, MO. We had been in the process of conserving and rebuilding for over a decade. Today it sits in rubble. Unfortunately, on the night of Wednesday 28th June, a four-alarm fire tore through our cherished skate park and community center, leaving our beloved venue in desperate need of help. We are devastated.

Last year, we released a fundraising campaign called “Long Live Liborius” along with our goal of bringing the church up to code and making it ADA-compliant to safely open it to the public. Because of this we were not able to insure the church as we were yet to achieve our fundraising target. We were so close to realizing our goal of giving access to the only indoor skatelite vert ramp in the Midwest and art from across the world to everyone. Pros like Steve Berra, Christian Hsoi, and Steve Caballero, Lil' Wayne all stood in awe of what we built together.

The church may be gone but our community still stands.

The fire caused terrible damage to the historic church building and rectory. We have cleaned up some of the damage with the help of our community of volunteers, our immediate priority is to support those in our community affected by the fire and stabilise the building in hopes of a rebuild. So much is still unknown and the road ahead is long, we are unsure as to just how much of the church building can remain. In true DIY spirit we’re seeking a way to keep this project alive, we hope to keep and preserve as much as possible but the future is unknown. We are in consultation with professionals as to the best way forward.

Sk8 Liborius and LUAS have been instrumental in enriching the lives of countless people who walked through our doors for over a decade. We foster a positive environment for self-expression, artistic exploration, and athletic development. We were invested in teaching skills to kids and young people in underserved communities and helping them succeed in life. So many individuals from around the world have found solace and inspiration within our walls. We have successfully used skating, skateboarding, street art and movement as a medium for personal growth and empowerment for people of all ages. Our center had become a beacon of hope, a safe haven for creativity and camaraderie. We had big plans and this tragedy won't stop us.

Our hearts are heavy for all that is lost but we are committed to not giving up! However, the cost of resurrecting Sk8 Liborius and LUAS to its former or new glory exceeds our current means.

Whilst a million dollars might seem like a far-away target, every dollar along the way gets us closer. We believe in our mission, our community and our city. We do not want to become another ghost of North St. Louis.

Your support, whatever the amount, will directly impact the lives of those who have come to rely on the transformative power of our center. Together, we can rebuild Sk8 Liborius and LUAS into a new place that transcends architecture—a place that represents the triumph of community spirit, resilience, and creativity.

Thank you.
