<div>Hello friends! We are starting this GoFundMe page to support the Duarozan Ohana. This week, Jean and Neri were medevaced to Oahu after experiencing complications with their pregnancy.

<div>Thankfully, baby girl is doing good and Jean has been given magnesium sulfate to ease any contractions and a steroid to help develop baby’s lungs in case she needs to deliver early. While we are so grateful for this news, the doctors are keeping Jean on Oahu until 35 weeks as a precaution since she is high risk. Jean is currently 29 weeks, so this means she will need to be under close monitoring for at least another 6 weeks.

<div>Any help you can provide will support housing, meals, and flight costs as Neri and Jean’s family will be flying back and forth from Maui to Oahu. Hopefully, this can also provide some peace of mind if they need to take extended leave from work.

<div>Hi everyone, I'm reaching out on behalf of my dad, Artemio Battulayan, who is going through an incredibly difficult medical journey right now.

<div>My dad has worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant for many years. He's always been a hardworking and humble man who has done everything he can to provide for our family.
</div>

<div>He recently underwent a major, life-saving heart surgery—a double bypass (coronary artery bypass with two venous grafts). We are so grateful the surgery was successful, but this is only the beginning of a long and challenging road to recovery.
</div>

<div>His doctors have advised that he won't be able to work for at least 6 months while he heals. On top of that, he is now facing the next critical step in his treatment-an upcoming procedure to address an Aortic Aneurysm.
</div>

<div>This has been overwhelming both physically and emotionally, and now financially as well. With no income during recovery and more medical care ahead, expenses like rent, utilities, food, travel cost and medical bills are quickly adding up. My dad has always worked hard, never complained, and quietly supported us through everything. Now, it's our turn to try and support him.

<p>On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 our<strong> BELOVED</strong> Jacqueline Tanaka passed away unexpectedly due to COVID complications. This has been a very tough time for her family, friends and those who knew and loved her.
</p>

<p>Jacki was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was an extra ordinary kind of woman. Jacki had the most kind and purest heart with an infectious smile that lit up every room. She had a great sense of humor that made others laugh and want to be around her. Her contagious laugh and positive energy can never be forgotten, <strong>EVER</strong>!!!
</p>

<p>She is survived by her loving fiancé, three beautiful children, her parents, grandma, sister, nieces and nephews. She will be missed not only by them but by everyone who was lucky enough to have met her.
</p>

<p>Many individuals have reached out to her family and I about providing monetary donations and if an account was set up for her children.
</p>

<p>Things happened so quickly, giving her family no time to prepare for the worst.
</p>

Before you were born I set You apart -Jeremiah 1:5<br /><br />On Monday, March 7, 2016 our active, energetic, hyper, precious, little Ryan was admitted to the Emergency Room at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Within four hours he was medevac to Oahu at Kapiolani Women and Children Hospital. <br /><br />The following morning our family received the devastating news. Our precious Ryan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Pre B Standard Risk (ALL). On Wednesday, March 9th, Ryan had the following procedures done: Bone Marrow, Spinal Fluid and a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC)<br /><br />Ryan is now 3rd day of chemotherapy and is now in his induction phase.<br /><br />Eric and Roseann parents of Ryan were given the news that they have a long road ahead of them, which requires Ryan 2-3 years of chemotherapy. They will be bearing unexpected expenses such as: airfares, transportation, accommodations, meals and unforeseen expenses.<br /><br />Ryan will be travelling to and from Maui and Honolulu 2-3 times a week during his treatments.<br /><br />We are also accepting donations of Hawaiian Miles to help with travel expenses.
