Hi everyone, I'm reaching out on behalf of my dad, Artemio Battulayan, who is going through an incredibly difficult medical journey right now.

My dad has worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant for many years. He's always been a hardworking and humble man who has done everything he can to provide for our family.

He recently underwent a major, life-saving heart surgery—a double bypass (coronary artery bypass with two venous grafts). We are so grateful the surgery was successful, but this is only the beginning of a long and challenging road to recovery.

His doctors have advised that he won't be able to work for at least 6 months while he heals. On top of that, he is now facing the next critical step in his treatment-an upcoming procedure to address an Aortic Aneurysm.

This has been overwhelming both physically and emotionally, and now financially as well. With no income during recovery and more medical care ahead, expenses like rent, utilities, food, travel cost and medical bills are quickly adding up. My dad has always worked hard, never complained, and quietly supported us through everything. Now, it's our turn to try and support him.
