<div>"Semper Fidelis means always faithful. At 20 years old, he did not yet understand what that truly meant. In 2006, after a night of reckless choices, he crashed his car and faced the consequences. With no direction and few options, he made a decision that would change his life. He chose to enlist in the Marines.
</div>

</div>
<div>In 2007, he began training in San Diego and went on to become an infantry Marine. He built strong bonds with those he served beside and carried the values of honor, courage, and commitment. In 2008, he deployed to Afghanistan, where he faced the realities of war. Not all of his brothers made it home, and their loss stayed with him long after his service ended.

<div>After his honorable discharge in 2011, he worked to rebuild his life. He stayed connected to those he served with and carried their memory forward. In 2025, he began building a small plumbing business, hoping to create a better future for his family.
</div>

<div>Then everything changed. In October 2025, his five year old daughter McLaren was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Doctors gave her six months. Since then, life has been filled with hospital visits, long nights, and the pain of watching their daughter lose her ability to speak and move on her own.

<div>Now, this family is facing a different kind of fight. They are doing everything they can to care for McLaren and hold onto each moment with her. Any support will help ease the burden and give them more time, comfort, and strength during this incredibly difficult journey."

<div>G day guys, my name is Hayley and this year I have decided to put together Christmas boxes to hand out to our most vulnerable on Christmas Day.

<div>The past couple of years have been tough, we have all struggled through lockdowns ect but having said that there has been a group that has struggled more than most, the homeless. With lockdowns and world issues taking over this year has meant for a lot of people that they have for the first time found them selves homeless or struggling to provide there family with the basics.
</div>

<div>I will be putting together little boxes of love, these will have the basics in them like towels, shampoo, food, socks, drink bottles as well as putting some Christmas pressie ones together for the kids with Toys.
</div>

<div>My aim is to get 40+ boxes put together by the first week of December and id bloody love your help.
</div>

<div>Every bit counts, I don't know about you but ive struggled myself and what sense of relief it was to have someone reach back and help me.

Christmas gift boxes for our most vulnerable

<p>BRING SHANNON HOME! <br /><br />So last week we all got some horrible news that one of our best mates came off his scooter on his footy trip in Bali, resulting in him sliding 6m accross the road and going head first into a tree... cracking his skull in half and cut his whole body up. <br /><br />His brain was bleeding on both sides and had emergency brain surgery in Bali. <br /><br />He is now awake and talking thank the lord but woken up with a $30,000 medical bill that isn't covered by his insurance as he wasn't wearing a helmet and had alcohol in his system. <br /><br />We all know that in Bali, not everything is fair/legit and the Government are refusing to let him leave and fly home to Australia and forcing him to pay this massive medical bill before he leaves. They have his passport and WILL PUT A BARRING on it if it is not paid in 4 days! (03/10/17)<br /><br />We have all made mistakes in our lives but no one deserves to be treated like that, we just want to help him get home so he can be treated by the trusted Aussie doctors and recover at home. <br /><br />We are asking for all the lads out there to have our boys back when he is in need! </p>
