My sister, Crystal, her partner Chae, their son Jae who is in middle school, and their dog Cupid, are facing a personal crisis. The recent severe ice storm that affected Nashville has caused them significant hardship. they lost power early Saturday morning when the ice caused tree limbs and a power line to fall onto their home. With no electricity , their house quickly became dangerously cold and they had to seek shelter in a hotel to find safety and warmth. Unfortunately, while they were away, the pipes in the apartment above them burst, flooding their home and causing substantial damage to their home and belongings. Now, not only are they without a home, but their personal belongings other than what they were able to evacuate with have been destroyed by water damage. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping my sister and her family get the things they need to start over. They need support for hotel stays, meals, and the search for a new home. They also need to begin replacing basic items that were ruined by the water. Anything you can spare to help Crystal and her family will be very much appreciated I want to thank anyone who even considers helping.
