<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;"><span class="s1">On October 2nd 2021 our beloved Angel Machaela passed away. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was loved by so many and her impact on people’s lives was extraordinary. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She leaves behind two beautiful boys Keegan and Kacey. Our mission is to raise money for the boys present and future, making their journey a little better. Every little bit counts. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Thank you so much for your generosity. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Your love is so appreciated and will be well used for Machaela’s two boys.   Let’s SING for her.   <br />As Keegan and Kacey's father and guardian, Rick Spinney, I have been granted permission to accept and distribute the funds to them to be used for their immediate needs and needs in their future. <br /></span>

Last night (Oct 17) a  fire and high winds caused an immediate evacuation in SharpHill.  My parents live in the area, so we tried to get a close as we could,  we were able to get a clear view of their home and could see that the  fire was blowing directly towards their house. While we watched and prayed, we got a call that our friends house, not far from my parents home was consumed by the fire. A few minutes later the winds shifted, rerouting the fire away from SharpHill.  Everyone got out of the area without injuries but our friends ( The Smiths) with three kids (16,14,12) lost their home, business, vehicles and beloved dogs., leaving them with only the clothes on their backs, it's tragic and devastating.  Today they are without the simplest of things, like underwear, toothbrushes, clothes and shoes. It's hard to know what we can do in a time of crisis,  but we hope to at least help them with the essentials, like food, clothing, shoes <br /><br />and maybe more. Please join us in supporting this Amazing family.<br /><br /><br />UPDATE <br /><br />The Airdrie community is so giving! Wow, it is beautiful to see. There has been so much support and generosity for the Smith family. <br /><br />Huge amounts of financial support has been donated on 'go fund me', as well as other donations given, such as clothing.<br /><br />Meals Made Easy is a local establishment that provides healthy and fresh meals. They approached us FOR EVERY DONATION GIVEN TOWARDS A MEAL, THEY WILL DONATE AN ADDITIONAL MEAL to the Smith family. <div>Our beautiful Evie is facing something no 17-year-old should ever have to: her third battle with cancer. This time, it is a rare and aggressive bone cancer called osteosarcoma.

<div>This devastating diagnosis came just days after she graduated from high school in June. What should have been a summer of celebration and dreaming about the future has instead become a fight for her life, filled with hospital stays, intensive chemotherapy, and an upcoming major surgery. Her treatment will last well into 2026.

<div>Evie is brave, grounded, and quietly powerful. She has endured more in her young life than most people ever will, yet she remains a light to those around her—joyful, full of faith, and fiercely determined.

<div>Her loving family is doing everything they can to support her, but the emotional and financial strain is immense. This fund will help cover many of the costs that come with long-term treatment, including:
