Help Evie Hooper Fight Cancer for the Third Time

Hi, my name is Katie Pearn, and I’m setting up this fundraiser for my beloved sister, Veronica Hooper, to support her incredible daughter Evie as she bravely faces cancer yet again.

Another Battle

Our beautiful Evie is facing something no 17-year-old should ever have to: her third battle with cancer. This time, it is a rare and aggressive bone cancer called osteosarcoma.

This devastating diagnosis came just days after she graduated from high school in June. What should have been a summer of celebration and dreaming about the future has instead become a fight for her life, filled with hospital stays, intensive chemotherapy, and an upcoming major surgery. Her treatment will last well into 2026.

Evie is brave, grounded, and quietly powerful. She has endured more in her young life than most people ever will, yet she remains a light to those around her—joyful, full of faith, and fiercely determined.

Her loving family is doing everything they can to support her, but the emotional and financial strain is immense. This fund will help cover many of the costs that come with long-term treatment, including:

• Unpaid time off work for caregiving

• Travel and parking for hospital visits

• Medications not covered by insurance

• Medical supplies, hospital meals, and home care

• Support to ensure her parents can be by her side throughout
