<div>My name is Duwone, and I’m from Plantation Heights, Cambridge in St. James, Jamaica. After Hurricane Melissa swept through our island, our small community was left struggling. Homes were damaged, roads flooded, and many families — including my own — lost food, clothing, and basic supplies.

<div>I now live in the United States, but my heart is still with my people back home. Many of them have no steady way to recover from this disaster, and help is slow to reach rural areas like ours.

<div>I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise $25,000 USD to provide relief and help residents get back on their feet. Funds will go toward:
