️ Help Rebuild Plantation Heights, Cambridge (St. James, Jamaica) After Hurricane Melissa

Hello everyone,

My name is Duwone, and I’m from Plantation Heights, Cambridge in St. James, Jamaica. After Hurricane Melissa swept through our island, our small community was left struggling. Homes were damaged, roads flooded, and many families — including my own — lost food, clothing, and basic supplies.

I now live in the United States, but my heart is still with my people back home. Many of them have no steady way to recover from this disaster, and help is slow to reach rural areas like ours.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise $25,000 USD to provide relief and help residents get back on their feet. Funds will go toward:

• Rebuilding damaged homes and roofs

• Supplying food, clean water, and clothing

• Helping elderly and single parents with essentials

• Supporting children who lost school materials

Every dollar will go directly to helping families in need. I’ll be personally overseeing how the funds are distributed and sharing updates and photos of the relief efforts, so you can see exactly how your kindness is making an impact.

Videos and Pictures of your donation will be on my Facebook pages

No amount is too small — whether you can give $5 or $50, it all helps. Please share this page with friends and family so we can reach more people and bring hope back to Plantation Heights.

Thank you for your support, prayers, and generosity. Together, we can help rebuild lives and restore our community.
