<div>Help Me Recover from Financial Loss and Health Crisis

</div>

<div>Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.

</div>

<div>Earlier this year, <strong>I made a life-changing decision to withdraw $280,000 from my 401(k) retirement savings. I invested the money, hoping to build a more secure future — but I was scammed. I lost everything.</strong>

</div>

<div>This devastating financial loss has left me in a very difficult position. To make matters worse, <strong>I’m now facing serious health issues that require urgent medical care.</strong> With no savings left and growing medical expenses, I’m struggling to afford the treatment I need to recover and rebuild my life.

</div>

<div>I’m raising funds to cover:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Medical bills and ongoing treatment</strong>

</div>

<div>Basic living expenses

</div>

<div>Support while I work to get back on my feet

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I never imagined I’d be in this situation, but I’m asking for help with humility and gratitude. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a real difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this campaign would mean the world to me.

</div>

<div>Thank you for reading my story and for your kindness and support.

Help Recover from Financial Loss and Health Crisis

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Flooding is one of the most devastating natural disasters in the US, causing billions of dollars in damage each year and displacing thousands of families. Too often we see people create fundraisers on the GoFundMe platform asking for help in the wake of destructive floods.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>GoFundMe.org has launched this fund to provide direct and immediate support to those impacted by floods this year. Tax deductible donations will go to individuals and families impacted, and to the nonprofit organizations who are responding on the ground. Every dollar will go directly to the communities in need. Your support will help flood survivors begin to rebuild—stronger and together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Current Need</strong>
</div>
<div>On December 9, 2025, an atmospheric river began sweeping through Washington state and the greater Pacific Northwest, resulting in widespread flooding and damage. We will be issuing grants to verified folks impacted as donations are raised.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On October 12, 2025, Typhoon Halong swept through Alaska’s Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, resulting in widespread flooding and damage, and over 2,000 people being displaced. New donations raised will be granted to support this community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are currently raising money to support victims of the deadly flooding in Gila County, Arizona.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Torrential rain on this August caused historic flash flooding across southeastern Wisconsin, damaging over 1,800 homes and 20+ public schools. Streets, schools, and neighborhoods in Milwaukee County were overwhelmed as rivers reached record levels. Thousands of families are now displaced, schools are facing costly repairs, and FEMA is still assessing the full extent of the damage.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the July 4th weekend, catastrophic floods swept across Central and South Texas, devastating homes, displacing families, and leaving entire communities underwater. With little warning, rising waters destroyed businesses, washed away roads, and forced emergency evacuations. Thousands of Texans are now navigating the aftermath—mourning lives lost, cleaning up what’s left, salvaging what they can, and facing an uncertain road to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In mid‑June, San Antonio was slammed by a flash flood when over 6 inches of rain fell in just a few hours, sweeping away vehicles and killing 13 people. This marked the city’s worst flooding in over a decade, causing extensive infrastructure and road damage.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Who we help</strong>
</div>
<div>We deliver cash grants directly to those impacted by domestic floods. We grant to verified individuals who qualify and are fundraising for themselves or on behalf of someone else. We may also provide grants to fundraisers benefiting small businesses and community relief efforts, and to vetted nonprofits coordinating long-term recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why donate to this fund?</strong>
</div>
<div>We provide swift support (within a few days) to individuals and communities who are directly impacted by a flood, supporting as many people as we can. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. We’ll send you a receipt upon donation completion.
