<div>Just some time ago, I had a life, a family, a home, and dreams. Now I have lost almost everything.

<div>During a recent bombing while we were taking shelter in a school, I was severely injured. I lost both of my legs, and in the same moment, I lost most of my father, 2 uncles and their children, my brother-in-law. In another bombing I lost my sister, her husband, her daughter, another brother-in-law, and cousins. They were all martyred in our family home.

<div>Our home was completely destroyed. I spent 2 days bleeding uncontrollably and the doctors thought I too was a martyr. I woke up in a hospital with no house, and no family to go back to. I had a chance to save my legs but due to the lack of medical resources and finances, I was not able to receive treatment to save them or have surgery. Because of the lack of medical supplies and resources, they had to amputate my leg and my foot.

<div>Every day since then has been a struggle not only to move or survive, but to find hope again.
