 Hello everyone my name is Donald. I have known the Halls for most of my life and I am a volunteer there every weekend. I am reaching out to help the Hall’s save the paramount skating arena located at 1511 chestnut st in Ottawa IL. This skating rink has been in business since 1977, and would love to see it continue. As you all have seen major improvements have been made to the skating rink since the halls took over 7 years ago. They put
</div>
<div>
 their heart and soul into the business. We all know times are tough, but if we can’t raise some funds by November the rink may close. They have watched several children grow in the past seven years and a new generation come in. The families that come in are growing. We all know the summer months are tough on small inside businesses. They have given back to the community countless times. With free admissions for costume contests, trying to bring people in with chances to win stuff, ie tv, free skates. The glow nights they have incorporated are starting to grow. There are not a lot of things for kids or families to do in Ottawa. Let’s help save the rink and keep it thriving for years to come . They don’t ask for help very often. Let’s help them in this time of need

Save the Paramount Skating Arena in Ottawa

<div>It is with profound sadness that I share the unexpected passing of my beloved father, Paul Kueker, at the age of 51, following a tragic accident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was a loving father, family man, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went. He loved spending time with his family and cherished every moment he shared with the people he loved. Whether he was cooking a meal for those around him or attending a concert to enjoy live music, he found joy in life’s simple moments and creating memories with others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Paul was also a hardworking and dedicated Sr. Director of Operations at Smartcon. He took pride in his work and was respected by his coworkers for his leadership, reliability, and strong work ethic. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The sudden loss of our dad has left our family heartbroken. We are struggling to process this unimaginable tragedy while facing the expenses that come with laying him to rest. We have created this fundraiser to help cover funeral and memorial costs and to relieve some of the financial burden during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and will help our family honor his memory. If you are unable to contribute, we ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. We will forever miss our dad’s love, strength, and the joy he brought into our lives. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,

<div>Meet Aubrey! This strong and driven single
</div>
<div>mother has worked many years as a caregiver in health care to others. This year she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 3 breast cancer which acted fast spreading to her lymph nodes. Besides losing her hair to chemo she also had a severe allergic reaction to it which laid her up in the hospital much longer than she anticipated. Following her release from the hospital she was rushed directly back in with a burst appendix and necrosis in her jaw. This is now month four. We all know how much ambulance and medical bills cost, since she started chemo she has had to stop working which has caused those bills to start piling up. Her house payments are falling behind which includes utility payments, car payments, and also medical costs. At this point it’s unclear as to when or if she’s going to be able to return to work, she has a long road ahead of her.
</div>
<div>Not only is she an incredible and passionate person but she’s also an amazing friend, one of my closest.
</div>
<div>I know times are challenging right now for every single one of us, it would be beyond appreciated if you could throw a little her way!
</div>

Aubrey is gonna beat cancer’s ass!

<div>Hello everyone. I am reaching out to ask for help for Miss Emberlynn’s family. As most of you know, Emberlynn was involved in an incident that happened at the YMCA on Thursday, Nov 14th. She was life flighted to Children's Hospital in Peoria and has a long road ahead of her. Her family will be by her side 100% of the time which will put them out of work for an unsure amount of time. I am asking for help in covering their rent, bills and whatever else they may need through these trying times. Any and every amount is appreciated. If you prefer to donate outside of here please feel free to reach out to me. Also, please continue to send all prayers. I truly feel they are working. Miss Emberlynn is a fighter and we hold strong faith in her healing journey❤️
</div>
<div>UPDATE: Miracles are being shown. Emberlynn has shown great progress. She is progressing very well. Every day she shows her strength more and more. Keep your prayers coming. They truly do work ❤️
</div>

Help Emberlynn's Family Through Crisis

<div>This summer our beloved sister Breanne Ailor (38) was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. This terrifying and unexpected diagnosis has been life-changing for Breanne and her family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bre is a busy mom to Harrison (11) and Silas(6), wife to Tyler, employee, PTO Co-president at Rutland grade school, daughter, sister, aunt, active community member in Ottawa, a huge Phish phan, and a dear friend to so many. She is amazing in all of her roles, but where she absolutely shines is as MOM to her two boys. Bre is always a bright light of positivity to those around her and continues to be despite this heavy load she’s carrying. She has a generous heart and giving spirit. She is generous and giving not only of her time and talents, but her money as well, often donating to worthy charities and foundations over the years. She is truly one of kind! We are so lucky to have a woman like her as our friend and family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like most things she does, Bre has gone all in on her diagnosis, becoming the most informed patient about many treatments and nutrition. She has also become an advocate for other young women to stay ahead of their health with self exams and mammograms. Bre has not, and will not let cancer slow her down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During a time when she should have been enjoying the sun and now preparing for the holidays she has instead been to countless appointments, tests, procedures, treatments, and surgeries with more to come. All of this means unexpected time off of work for both Bre and her biggest support, Tyler.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Trying to maintain the boys usual activities, expensive treatments, time away with extra travel and the expenses that come with it, and all of the pain management therapies, their financial burdens are growing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Ailor’s have great insurance, great doctors, and a supportive family, but no one can plan for cancer. Help is needed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our hope is to raise money to help offset some of the devastating financial impacts the Ailors have had, and will continue to have in the upcoming year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to ensuring that Bre can focus on what matters most—her health and her family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing by Bre and her family during this challenging time. Your love, support, and generosity mean the world to them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With all our love and deepest gratitude,
</div>
<div>The McCambridge, Zarka and Wood families

<font color="#333333">A message from Jason:<br /><br />My name is Jason Lopez.

In July 2024, at the age of 34, I was diagnosed with a grade IV astrocytoma, Glioblastoma (yes Arnold, it is a tumor) in my brain and brainstem. The tumor was discovered after I experienced hearing loss in my left ear and tingling in my tongue and face. Please get checked if you ever doubt yourself. I had my first surgery just a week after my initial MRI.
<br /><br /> I anticipate starting radiation and chemotherapy treatments in August. I'm still waiting for the stitches from my surgery to be removed. Right now, I'm feeling tired, confused, dizzy, and trying to understand what is happening.
<br /><br /> For the foreseeable future, I will not be able to work and provide for my family as I once did. Financially, everything is uncertain. My initial prognosis is 15-18 months, so my goal is to raise $10,000 per month. At this goal, our quality of life should remain largely the same. This may include selling our home and extra assets to set up a living situation for my wife, Emily, and our 3-year-old son, Kai, on a single income. Emily is an amazing Special Education teacher, and we hope to stay in the area to continue her life and career. Beyond general life needs, the money would go towards medical and travel expenses. If we fall short of the goal, we might move closer to family and create a living situation with minimal work commitments, making the most of our time together. If there are breakthrough medical treatments or unforeseen expenses, funds will be directed accordingly, or they will go to Emily and Kai to build their future.
<br /><br />This is a fast-moving process, and we are treating it as aggressively and early as possible. I might not be able to provide frequent updates, as I often won’t know what’s next. There might be clinical trial options at a major hospital, but who knows? Maybe Elon Musk has a brain chip for me.

If you know me, you know how to reach me. If you’ve gone through this and have helpful resources, please let me know.

<br /><br />What I need most is your support (thoughts and prayers also help) and for you to be there for Emily and Kai.
<br /><br />No, it wasn’t expected.
<br />No, I don’t know what I will do.
<br />No, I don’t know how long.
<br />No, I can’t taste anything.
<br />Yes, Emily will sneakily make me eat healthier because I can’t taste it.
<br />Yes, I’m terrified and depressed (both due to the tumor and the new diet).
<br />Yes, I will keep fighting.
<br />Yes, if you’re my random hidden billionaire friend, now’s the time to reconnect and surprise me!
<br />Yes, I will make morbid jokes about my health and life/death situation if you try to ask me seriously about it.
<br /><br /> Family, friends, and colleagues, feel free to call or text me your thoughts. Everyone’s words have helped carry me through these dark weeks so far.<br /></font>

<div>Hello, my name is Matt. The sweet kitty you see above is named <strong>Tela</strong>. She was a naughty girl and ate something she wasn't supposed to. She is currently suffering from a blockage in her intestine and requires surgery to have it removed. <strong>Without this surgery, our poor, baby kitten only has about one week left with us.</strong> Surgery is going to cost a minimum of $3,000, which we simply do not have. We've already applied for and maxed out a Care Credit line and spent nearly $400 out of pocket for a total of nearly $2,000. Any money you can donate would be more than appreciated!

<div>Tela is a COVID baby. My fiancee, Katie, and I adopted her along with her brother, Colonel Forbin, in June of 2020. They are a bonded pair and inseparable. They do everything together, as you can see in the photos. <strong>Losing Tela would absolutely devastate our little Forbin. </strong>

<div>Those of you who know or have visited us in the past three years know Tela. She was probably the first to greet you at the door and cry to be held, petted, or played with. <div>Dearest friends, family, and supporters, our friends are in need of deep prayer and financial support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the morning of March 16th, Chuck and Charley Morris went kayaking on Beaver Lake (AR), and have not yet returned. Search efforts are still underway, and Jenny and family could use all the prayer you can muster.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jenny and Amelia could also use financial support. Please help however you see fit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The family is grieving and appreciates all your support, but understand there will be communication delays due to the circumstances. Please refer to this page for the most current updates, or contact Jen Lamboy.

<div>Everlee Mueller just turned 5 in December and shortly thereafter was unexpectedly diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension. The treatment for her diagnosis requires a heart transplant. Because her condition is so severe, she will need to remain at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital until she can receive the necessary heart transplant.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This diagnosis comes on the heels of the family already navigating the hardships of the unexpected loss of their father and husband, Craig. Two months before Everlee’s diagnosis, Craig passed away due to a sudden heart attack. Their lives were uprooted in Montana as they moved back to Illinois to be closer to friends and family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In the two months between Craig’s passing and Everlee’s diagnosis, the family was making strides to reestablish a sense of normalcy in Illinois. Everlee had begun attending preschool, her eight-year-old sister, Grace, had started attending a new school and Emylee had taken a new job teaching special education at a local school. However, Emylee is now needing to be at Everlee’s bedside fulltime in St. Louis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Although there is still a lot of uncertainty at the moment, we would like to help alleviate the worry of financial hardships due to the costs of long-term care for a child in a hospital.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can afford to donate any amount of money, no matter how small, it will be endlessly appreciated. All fund will be going directly to Emylee Mueller, to help cover Everlee’s medical expenses. Your contributions will go a long way in helping to ease the financial stress of this incredibly heartbreaking situation. Emylee has been one of my best friend for the past 30 years, and I appreciate the time you’ve given to hear their story. Please keep them in your prayers.

<div>Hi my name is Nicole and I’m trying to help a young man who is my 2 Sons friend. He has lost his Mother and Sister in a fire early this morning on Christmas Eve. He is currently in the Hospital. He has lost EVERYTHING!!! This young man needs medical care expenses, help with the burial of his Mother and Sister, and other items as everything was a complete loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! He has already lost his father tragically, and doesn’t have family in the area. Please help during this time of need. Here is the article from The Times. If anyone wants to read more about it, they can look it up.

High School Boy lost his Mother & Sister in Fire

<div>It was brought to the attention of the Mama Ragers admin team that a long standing member has found themselves in a situation where they, and their two little ragers (8 and 2), are currently without a home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This member needs to travel via car from NC to AZ, where she has more support awaiting her. They are currently staying with friends until she has the funds to make the trip, so the sooner she has the means , the sooner she can leave to AZ.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The journey is a two thousand mile journey which will take multiple days to make with young kids, so the funds will be used for overnight hotel stays in addition to gas and food money. Any extra funds raised will be used to help set themselves up once they are relocated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If there are any members who have unused tablets and headphones that can be donated for the kids to use on the car ride , please contact an admin, and we will give you an address to mail the items to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Out of respect for our group member’s privacy, we are keeping her anonymity intact, as requested, when approached about making a GFM on her behalf. We do not take in-group fundraising lightly and believe this is a cause that needs our community’s imminent support. Every dollar helps ❤️⭕️

Single Mama Rager of 2 need to relocate ASAP

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Guess we’re moving May 30th? We just got a letter saying we must leave by June 1st but it didn’t give a reason. It mentions something about a rental lease ending, but we moved in back in 2017, never got a lease, have asked multiple times with proof and now we only get 30 days to move without warning of a problem. (We just talked to the landlord the other day and she was completely normal.)
</div>
<div> We’ve had a lot of issues, like we’ve been waiting on her to replace our dryer over two months, our exhaust fan in the kitchen has been out for years, hole in our bathroom roof for years, all stuff they said they’d be by to fix and haven’t. But I also have my art studio downstairs and have taken the good with the bad.
</div>
<div> This letter has us worried though, so now we’re talking to lawyers on Monday and scrambling and asking for anyone who could help recommend a rental or landlord or if you’re a lawyer and know anything about the legality of this I’d love to know.
</div>
<div> Bottom line is this may be taking away my ability to do linoprints or any artwork thats a bigger format. It’s already made us cancel our trip to Billy Strings for Red Rocks and most likely will mess up the rest of the shows we have tickets to for the summer. Just when we thought things were looking up with Morgan’s new job promotion.

<div>Arianna is a funny lovable sassy 6year old girl. She loves unicorns, playing with her dolls. She misses her brothers and just wants to be better and home.
</div>
<div>On September 1st 2021 Arianna was at school and had a seizure. She was taken to the hospital and was given fluids and sent home. Where she continued to have several seizures a day but mostly at night. On Sep10th she had a very bad one at school and was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they decided to transfer her to Osf Children’s Hospital. She was then diagnosed with broad spectrum epilepsy. She was kept in the hospital for 2 days and sent home on medication. The medication worked for 2 days and then Arianna was rush to the er and they sent her back to Peoria on sept 17. And she has been hospitalized since then. She was life flighted from Peoria to Luries children's hospital in Chicago on 10/7 after saying they have done everything they can for her.They currently have Arianna on 5 different seizure meds and are not able to completely stop the seizures from breaking threw. While in Peoria Ari had also contracted COVID-19. Which may be a reason why none of the meds are stopping the seizures. So now we are just waiting for the Covid to run it's course and clear out of her system before they can do the high intensity mri and pet scans that are needed to see if she has any lesions on her brain that may have been missed with a regular mri. So as of right now we are still having 15-30 seizures a day. We are hoping to find answers so Ari can go home. Ari has a long road ahead. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you
