Hello everyone my name is Donald. I have known the Halls for most of my life and I am a volunteer there every weekend. I am reaching out to help the Hall’s save the paramount skating arena located at 1511 chestnut st in Ottawa IL. This skating rink has been in business since 1977, and would love to see it continue. As you all have seen major improvements have been made to the skating rink since the halls took over 7 years ago. They put

their heart and soul into the business. We all know times are tough, but if we can’t raise some funds by November the rink may close. They have watched several children grow in the past seven years and a new generation come in. The families that come in are growing. We all know the summer months are tough on small inside businesses. They have given back to the community countless times. With free admissions for costume contests, trying to bring people in with chances to win stuff, ie tv, free skates. The glow nights they have incorporated are starting to grow. There are not a lot of things for kids or families to do in Ottawa. Let’s help save the rink and keep it thriving for years to come . They don’t ask for help very often. Let’s help them in this time of need
