Help Me Deliver Life-Saving Aid to Ukraine — One Convoy at a Time Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, I’ve dedicated my life to getting critical aid directly into the hands of Ukrainians who need it most. I fund nearly everything myself — but I can’t keep up with the growing need alone. Your support will put life-saving supplies and vehicles on the ground in Ukraine. ________________________________________ Who I Am My name is David A. Courage, and for more than four years, I’ve been deeply involved in hands-on humanitarian work and advocacy for Ukraine. This isn’t abstract for me — it’s personal, urgent, and something I’m committed to for the long haul. ________________________________________ What I Do I started by buying tourniquets, splints, medicines, and IFAKs (professional-grade first aid kits). I partnered with Ukrainian expats who hand-delivered these supplies inside Ukraine. That led me to: • Local rallies in Boston • National advocacy with the American Coalition for Ukraine • Twice-yearly trips to Washington, D.C. to meet with senators and representatives • Volunteering with UAidDirect USA, a 501(c)(3) shipping medical and humanitarian aid • Driving vehicles directly into Ukraine with the Jeeps4Peace convoys ________________________________________ Why This Matters One of the most meaningful experiences of my life was driving a donated vehicle from Scotland to Ukraine — crossing the UK, taking a ferry to the Netherlands, and continuing through Europe and Poland. Jeeps4Peace has delivered over 750 vehicles to Ukraine, and I’ve had the honor of being part of that mission. Last night, I purchased a plane ticket for my next convoy. It leaves in just a few weeks. ________________________________________ Where Your Donation Goes Aside from one subsidized flight from a friend, every convoy, every supply purchase, and every advocacy trip has been entirely self-funded. A single convoy costs: • £800–£1,000 ($1,055–$1,320 USD) for ferry, hotels, and basic logistics • Fuel for 1,600+ miles • Tolls • Phone SIM or roaming fees • Travel home from Kraków The vehicles are donated — but everything else comes out of my pocket.
