"Awaiting New Hope and a
Bright Future"

<div>I am Tasneem, 32 years old, married and have four children: Nour, 12 years old, Youssef, 10 years old, Reem, 5 years old, Raghad, 11 months old. My life was stable and calm until October 7th, when everything was turned upside down. My home was destroyed and my children's future was shattered. They lost their security and their right to education. My children Nour and Youssef used to get the highest grades, but now they have not been able to complete their studies because of the brutal aggression. I also suffered a lot because of my little girl who was not even twenty days old at the time because of the lack of basic supplies for the child. At the time, I had not yet recovered from the caesarean section. We suffered a lot and a lot and things became more difficult and the bombing intensified and we were forced to flee several times. I started looking for a way to save my children. I left for Egypt after the sixth month of the war. I had nothing with me but my children, my identification papers and a little money. My husband was unable to travel because he did not have enough money or any source of income because he unfortunately lost his job. This was the most difficult experience in my life. It is the experience from which we will emerge as we were never before. Now I find myself alone abroad without my husband, so help me so that my husband can come to us and live with us. I also urgently need to undergo surgery and a monthly allowance for my children who lost their education due to the lack of residency. I found no choice but private schools, but the costs are very expensive and I need to rent a house... I have resorted to institutions to help me, but to no avail. I ask you to respond to the call of humanity and tormented childhood. Be by my side and support me to overcome this storm.

<div>This is Gaza, and there is no life in it in all respects.

<div>So we decided to leave alone Gaza so that I could give birth to my son in a healthy and appropriate place.

<div>I left with a heavy heart, it was only a month after my marriage and I couldn't live with my husband enough, I left him against me, for my fetus, and 4 months ago I now had my son here in Egypt, my son was born and his father was away from him. He longs to see him and hug his firstborn son.

<div>All I want now is for my husband, son and I to live together and come together so that we can build a family full of love, away from the war atmosphere that has taken away everything beautiful from us.

<div>My name is Neven. I am 29 years old and a mother. I have been living in Gaza my whole life but, honestly, I can barely remember the details of my life before October 2023. So much has changed, and so much has been lost. We know that any moment could be our last, and we humbly need your help to evacuate Gaza and start over.

<div>My husband, Mohammed, and I were married in June 2018. Mohammed is an artist who was day laborer. We designed and built our house together, inch by inch. We had three lives in the past five years, we had two sons and one daughter. Our children, Adam, Elaf and Ameer is the light of our lives, and we had so many dreams for our future together. We are black Palestinians, and we come from a tight-knit community with around 1000 black people in Gaza. I dedicated my life to my children. I wanted to be the good mother they want.

<div>We have faced hard times in Gaza before, with smaller escalations happening, but we were able to overcome them and could stay in our homes. This time is completely different. Within two days of the crisis, we fled our home and sought shelter at my aunt’s house in Al-Maghazi refugee camp, where my parents and family had been displaced to.

<div>In January 4th, we woke up to the Israeli occupation at the our door. They held us hostages while they took my father and male relatives into prison. More than four months passed by and still no words from them.

<div>When my husband, Mohammed had the chance to gather what was left of our home; the remains, and his own gallery, to this day I haven’t heard a word from him.
</div>

<div>Honestly, we are not okay. We can clearly say that our dream for our family now is totally different than our dreams the day before this crisis began. What we want is peace. We dream of living in a safe place where we can work and our children live in a peaceful environment where there is no violence at all, where there’s no conflicts between any other party. This is the only dream we can hope for.

<div>We have been living in my aunt for months and every day that went by was harder than the day before. We worry constantly about our safety and basic needs of food, water, and electricity. We haven’t eaten a single fruit or vegetable in months, and we fear running out of food all together. My eldest son is sick from the polluted drinking water. Nowhere is safe in Gaza, not even the the religious places. We lost family and relatives from airstrikes on the refugee camp we are lived in, and we hear bombings all around us. During the pause in fighting, we have gone outside and seen the devastation all around us. When I go out to the street, I feel I am in an apocalypse movie. Everything is destroyed.

<div>We lost all our life’s savings and assets in this brutal war. Before the war, we had spent over $100,000 to build our dream home together. Now, our dream home is unlivable. The building is completely under the rubbles and our apartment is entirely damaged; our memories, appliances, equipment, clothes, and everything we had are either stolen or damaged. Almost everything we own and consider as a main asset for our family is lost. In our community, there has been so much loss.

Help Neveen and her family escape Gaza's Genocide

<div>Hi, my name is Kristy. I'm from the US and I am helping my friends, brothers Ali &amp; Mohammed, and their family of six raise funds for daily expenses and eventual evacuation from Gaza. The family is originally from North Gaza in the Jabalia Camp, but were forced to flee to Al-Mawasi Khan Younis in the south due to the extreme violence after Oct 7th. Soon after being displaced, they learned that their home had been bombed and they had nowhere to return to.

<div>My family and I went there to a house. My relatives and I sat without electricity, gas, or clothing, without the minimum necessities of life. After a period of staying in the city, the occupation ordered us to evacuate from the city of Khan Yunis and go to the west of the city in what is called the city of Al-Mawasi.

<li>Exchange Office fees: Unfortunately, the Exchange Offices in Gaza charge a whopping 30% (!) when money is withdrawn.

<li>Funds to survive on in Egypt post-evacuation: Families in Gaza have not had a regular income in 14 months and Palestinians can't work in Egypt, unfortunately. The family should have a little padding so that they aren't suffering when they are externally displaced.

<div>To ensure the funds reach Mohammed, Ali and their family, your kind and generous contributions will be wired by me directly to their cousin in the West Bank, who will then transfer them to the family via Western Union. I have wired personal funds to the family in this manner and it was seamlessly successful.

<div>If you have previously donated to this family, please note that Mohammed and his older brother Ali had separate GFMs that were managed by Mohammed's gracious friend, Amina. After a consultation, we decided that it made more sense to consolidate the two GFMs and for me to manage a single fundraiser, as I have the extra time to do so. Any funds you have donated in the past will be sent by Amina directly to Mohammed via wire and Western Union for swift and secure delivery and then the two GFMs will be closed out.
