I started this fundraiser because every second counts when a wildfire starts. As someone who cares about our neighbors and the people who run toward danger to keep us safe, I want to make sure more communities get the fastest, clearest information possible when emergencies strike. Watch Duty’s team of active and retired firefighters, dispatchers, and first responders work around the clock to deliver verified, real-time alerts so families can act sooner and stay safer. Watch Duty is solving a straightforward but critical problem: underserved areas often lack reliable, timely updates in rapidly changing situations. Their service is not crowdsourced noise. It is powered by trained professionals monitoring scanners, confirming facts, and relaying life saving information as conditions evolve. Those minutes of clarity can mean the difference between a safe evacuation and a dangerous delay. Your support helps keep this vital service running 24/7, expand coverage to more at-risk communities, and improve the tools and clarity of updates that firefighters, first responders, and residents rely on. Keeping alerts free and accessible ensures that people who need information most can receive it without barriers. Please join me in supporting Watch Duty. Your donation will help get faster, verified wildfire alerts into the hands of people who need them when it matters most. Give what you can to help more communities stay informed and safe.
I’m taking part in the Miles That Matter Challenge, a 10-day movement to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. Each day, I’ll complete a mile that represents hope, strength, and progress toward a future without Alzheimer’s. Through this challenge, I’m raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Association to support critical research, care, and advocacy, all aimed at one goal: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Join me in making every mile matter by donating to my challenge today. Together, we can move toward a world without Alzheimer’s.
I’ll never forget being 13 years old and learning that my great-grandfather had just taken his own life in the assisted living home he had just moved into. It was the first time that mental health and suicide hit close to home like for me. My name is Conner Smith, and I believe no one should have to struggle with mental health alone. I have seen too many men and women battle their challenges in isolation, and I want them to know that there are so many people who care and have walked this road before them and have come out on the other side. Together, we can turn hope into action. This campaign supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in their mission to save lives and create a culture that understands mental health. By raising funds, we can support suicide prevention, mental health education, life-saving research, and advocacy for stronger policies. Every dollar we raise helps spread awareness, reduce stigma, and contributes to efforts that save lives and create lasting change. Let’s come together to support survivors and foster a community where everyone feels valued. I am grateful for your support in this important cause.
