Childhood Cerebral Palsy. In this space, we share Benjamin's story. As first-time parents, it has been a journey full of challenges and learning experiences; we thought we knew what to expect, but every day surprises us with something new. Our family is always on the move. Join us and discover Benjamin's ups and downs and great strides. Benjamin was born at 28 weeks gestation due to premature rupture of membranes and weighed 750 grams. He required care in a radiant warmer for four months and home oxygen for a year. He spoke his first words at eight months and began physical rehabilitation at one year old. At two years old, he began crawling, albeit irregularly; thanks to neurotherapy, he was potty trained at three and began chewing and eating solid foods. At six years old, he started school through virtual classes due to the pandemic. At seven years old, he underwent tendon surgery, and at eight, he was able to walk for the first time with the help of a walker. Later, he entered fourth grade and attended in-person classes for the first time. Benjamin has allergies to fava beans, dog hair, and dust mites. I dream of seeing him walk independently, lead an autonomous life, and successfully enter the workforce. He frequently expresses his own desires, such as traveling to other countries and living on his own. Sometimes I worry that, in this process, he might find it difficult to adapt to or interact with different types of people. Benjamin is currently 11 years old. Throughout this time, we have dedicated all our efforts and resources to seeing him progress and improve his quality of life. However, we are currently facing a difficult financial situation due to the expenses associated with his therapies and the purchase of the orthotics necessary for his physical rehabilitation. For this reason, we request your support to maintain the progress Benjamin has made and continue working to improve his well-being and quality of life. Annual therapy expenses: 12,000 Annual orthotics expenses: 1,000 Annual medical expenses: 1,000 Annual health insurance expenses: 2,500 Rokids exoskeleton purchase: 20,000

Good afternoon, this is Christian. I'm helping Maria Sol Cedeño. THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT, MARIA SOL CEDEÑO IS IN COLOMBIA AT THE PABLO TOBÓN URIBE HOSPITAL! A Heartfelt Thank You! Dear friends, family, and donors, today we share one of the most important and eagerly awaited pieces of news from this campaign. We have achieved our first major goal! Thanks to your incredible and unwavering support, generosity, and prayers, Maria Sol Cedeño was able to travel to Colombia and has been received by the specialized medical team that will continue her treatment. This achievement is a testament to the power of community and a monumental step on the road to her recovery. We couldn't have done it without each and every one of you! Next Steps in Medellín MARIA SOL CEDEÑO has already been admitted to the renowned Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital in Medellín. As you can see in the photo we shared, she is in her room, receiving initial care. She is currently being evaluated by specialists to begin the next phase of her treatment immediately, including specialized therapies, surgical evaluations, or intensive medications. She is strong, in good spirits, and ready to keep fighting. The Battle Continues: While the transfer has been covered, the total cost of the procedures, hospital stay at this high-complexity center, and specialized medications in Colombia is significant. We still need your help to reach our goal and ensure she receives complete treatment without interruption. The money raised now is CRUCIAL and will be used exclusively to: • Cover her stay and procedures at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital. • Purchase the high-cost medications necessary for her recovery. • Cover lodging and post-operative care costs during her stay in Medellín. Help us reach our goal! Please share this update with your contacts. Every donation and every time you share this news brings us closer to the goal of giving MARIA SOL CEDEÑO the life she deserves.
Hello, my name is Christian, and I'm helping to raise funds—URGENT! Help for María Sol: Battle Against Leukemia Hello everyone, Today we ask you to join us in a vital cause: supporting María Sol Cedeño, a young Ecuadorian woman fighting a tough battle against lymphoblastic leukemia. María Sol urgently needs a desensitization procedure as a step prior to a bone marrow transplant. This vital procedure, which aims to reduce the risk of rejection, must be performed in Colombia, and she will need to spend 6 months to a year recovering from the surgery since it couldn't be done in Ecuador. We need your support to reach our fundraising goal! Any contribution, no matter how small, will be immensely appreciated and can make a significant difference in her life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of this effort, for sharing, and for your solidarity. Together we can help María Sol!
