<div>At the end of August, my colleagues and I will be taking on the Tough Mudder challenge — pushing ourselves through mud, obstacles, and plenty of discomfort — all in support of Mind, the mental health charity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re doing this to raise awareness and vital funds for mental health support, helping Mind continue their work providing advice, support, and services to anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s going to be a real test of endurance, teamwork, and determination, but we’re committed to seeing it through for a cause that means a great deal to us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any support, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards helping Mind make a real difference to people’s lives.

Tenants Advice Tough Mudder Fundraising Challenge

<div><strong>I am trying to raise enough money to buy a new lifesaving hovercraft for the RNLI, and I would like it to be called 'The Flying Farage.'</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I feel that this would be incredibly appropriate due to Mr Farage taking such an active interest in the RNLI's activities right now. If there is any money left over, we will purchase a pint of real English ale to smash against the front in the naming ceremony, and if there is loads of money left over we may even buy a second vessel and call it 'The Galloping Grimes' or 'The Hovering Hopkins.'

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>… or how about ‘The Rushing Ratcliffe?’ I’m pretty sure Sir Jim appreciates the concept of heading overseas in search of a better life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/58839685_1770923877739250_r.png" width="100%" />

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please give generously.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Legal Note: All funds will be paid directly from GoFundMe to the RNLI - this is a 'fundraiser' and not a 'crowdfunder.' The final decision about whether or not to proceed with 'The Flying Farage' is entirely at their discretion.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As it stands (January 2026), all donations to ‘The Flying Farage’ are being ringfenced for running costs at RNLI stations around the South-East corner of England - this means that there’s always a very good chance that donations will go towards helping the very people that Farage and many other ruddy-faced gammons love screaming at in The Channel.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This arrangement was confirmed again recently by my RNLI contact. However, if they ever change their mind about how these funds are used, I’ll let you all know.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The overall total includes a few related appeals I have done directly on the Facebook platform (Facebook fundraising) as well as elsewhere on GoFundMe.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Also, because some idiots are now confusing the RNLI with the RNIB, you can support their amazing work as well <a href="https://www.rnib.org.uk/get-involved/donate/help-families-like-joannas-with-a-regular-gift/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RIGHT HERE</a>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><b>NB: If you’re here for ‘The Tremendous Tommo,’ I am legally obliged to point out that the RNLI have the right to choose to spend any funds raised on their own lifeboat stations instead before replacing whatever the hell that other ‘Patriotic’ small boat was … ah, irony. </b>

Buy A New RNLI Hovercraft - The Flying Farage

With so much anti-Asian hate spreading in the U.S., it feels wrong to continue to remain silent about a lawsuit that threatens our freedom of speech. Diet Prada is a small company co-founded by a person of color, trying to speak out against racism in our own community, and we need your help.<br /><br />On March 1st, we filed a defense of our freedom of speech in answer to defamation claims brought in a Milan court by Dolce &amp; Gabbana. The lawsuit argues that we should be held responsible for lost revenue and other harm to Dolce &amp; Gabbana and its co-founder Stefano Gabbana after we criticized their 2018 advertising campaign on Weibo for its stereotypical and sexist depiction of a Chinese woman, and revealed anti-Asian remarks originating from Gabbana’s Instagram account.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;"><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/55044490_1614874762189935_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="55044490_1614874762189935_r.jpeg" /><br /><br />Following the widespread negative response to its advertising campaign and the withdrawal of many Chinese models and guests from a planned fashion show in Shanghai, the event was canceled and Dolce &amp; Gabbana issued a public video apology featuring its founders. Shortly thereafter, in early 2019, the brand filed an action for defamation demanding that we pay damages in the amount of €3 million for Dolce &amp; Gabbana and €1 million for Stefano Gabbana.</span><br /><br />The nonprofit Fashion Law Institute, based at Fordham Law School, is coordinating our defense through its pro bono clinic in collaboration with Italian law firm AMSL Avvocati, which has graciously agreed to represent us at a reduced rate. We need your help more than ever to raise funds to cover law firm costs, filing fees, and other legal expenses. Will you consider donating to our Gofundme? <br /><br />Having cultivated Diet Prada as a platform where we can denounce racism, amplify stories from the larger BIPOC community, and hold the fashion industry to a higher ethical standard, has been one of the most rewarding experiences thus far and our only hope is to protect that. Going up against a large luxury brand is daunting, but your contribution means we can continue protecting our fundamental rights, but also preserve what is so special about the Diet Prada community.<br /><br />❤️, <br />Diet Prada

<p>The  business owners of Saigon Bay Vietnamese Restaurant are grateful to the community for any funds they receive.
</p>

<p>On May 30th, 2020 protests for the brutal death of George Floyd by a white police officer in MN started peacefully on Fowler Avenue in Tampa, FL.
</p>

<p>By nightfall, riots started with looting and burning of buildings. Rioters set fire to Champs adjacent to Saigon Bay Vietnamese Restaurant. Both buildings (connected in a strip mall) were destroyed/damaged severely. <br /><br />Please donate to Thanh Son and  Savy Lam: owners of Saigon Bay Vietnamese Restaurant on Fowler Avenue in Tampa, FL. <br /><br />This business is their livelihood to support a multi-generational family! They did not deserve this setback. They are so kind, welcoming, and inclusive to everyone. Please support them during this time.
</p>

<p>All donations will go directly to Thanh and Savy to support their restaurant. Thank you in advance!
