<div>They lost part of their roof and water was pouring into their home and they were forced to evacuate with their two dogs to a neighbors home for the rest of the storm.

<div>Their landlord told told them that they will have to vacate the house within a week so he can get it repaired and sell it.

<div>They will need furniture, a security deposit for a new rental as well as money to cover moving expenses.

<div>My mother [Tracey J McGill] unexpected passed away on Nov 1st, 2021 due to complications with organ failure and infections in her blood. Anyone who knew her would tell you that she could light up a room with her joyful attitude. She could and would strike up a conversation with anyone passing by. She always went out of her way to help those in need anyway she could. Whether it was helping clean, going to the store for you if you couldn't make it, or just being an open ear eager to listen to anything that's on your mind. She had a heart that would rival the grinch at the end of the movie when I grew 3 sizes.

<div>Growing up without a father, I leaned heavily on my mother for everything. I was very close to her and she gave me the strength and courage to do so many things in my life. I always wanted to make her proud and do right by her. She was my mother and my best friend, we share so much of the same goofy and happy-go-lucky personality. I am who I am today because of her and honestly scared of my life without her.

<div>Although she did make a few mistakes and poor choices. A few years ago I moved my mother across the country to live with me which got her away from an abusive relationship and saved her from being homeless. Unfortunately the abusive relationship found its way to following her and over the course of months to follow I drove myself into debt trying to care for her and get her back onto her own feet. This wasn't a problem as you do everything you can for your mother and I enjoyed having her closer to me (I joined the military right out of high school and haven't seen her much since). I have had to make a lot of difficult choices regarding her medical care, with a very heavy and grief stricken heart, ultimately taking the Hospice care route all within the span of a week.

<div>The financial struggle has been an incredible mental strain added onto the trauma/shock of the last few weeks and any help would be immensely appreciated as we try to do what's best for her in her final rest.

As well as provide some mental relieve knowing everything is taken care of for her before I am set to deploy overseas and I will be able to begin to grieve and heal.

My Mother's (Tracey J McGill) funeral, memorial

<p>Hi, my name is Angela Stutzman Ayala and Shawn Merrill is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Shawn was attending his 30th class reunion this past Saturday and he suffered a fall resulting in a spinal cord injury. He currently is unable to move any of his limbs and is on a ventilator. Prior to this horrible accident, he was recovering from stomach/intestinal cancer and was in the hospital half of June into July. He had sent me a message on July 30th that his surgeons took out his PICC line, stomach drain and told him they got all the cancer. What he was most excited about that day was that his doctors cleared him to go back to work "light duty" in 2 weeks. Anyone that knows Shawn knows how much he loves his job and rarely misses a day. Shawn already had mounting bills prior to this accident and at this time, will likely require an extensive medical stay. Shawn is one of the nicest guys I know and is always with a smile and always lending a hand to anyone in need. He NEEDS OUR HELP NOW, and he definitely needs us to lift him up in prayer. All money in this campaign is going to Shawn, and his sister Jody will help me with that. I am setting an amount that probably won't even be close to what he needs. Please keep my good friend in your prayers and please share and spread the word. This is one of Ben's older sisters. I'm going to try to give you a glimpse of what happened to Ben, and how we can help. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53249928_1608070179690906_r.jpeg" alt="53249928_1608070179690906_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />The first Maine Noreaster was well underway on the evening of Saturday, December 5th. Our (son, father, uncle, brother, cousin, friend, neighbor, fiancé...) Benjamin was en route to return a visiting childhood friend (hey, Bobby Mayo!) safely to his grandmother's home. Also in the cab of his warm Chevy Silverado were his fiancée, Kathleen, and three of his young sons (Hayden, Parker, &amp; Mason). <br /><br />Ben, always one with a plan, had planned to drop of Bobby, then Kat &amp; the boys at their home, before returning to the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department to suit up and assist his fellow firefighters with dealing with the storm damage. As they round the corner to Grammy Mayo's they came upon a fallen tree blocking traffic into and out of the retirement community. As Ben and Bobby went into the snow and proceeded to clear the tree, every single person in and outside of the truck heard the piercing snap of a second maple tree as it crushed and entrapped Ben.  <br /><br />"Well, Jayne. As I lay there pinned I knew there was a fire department full of brothers ready to come to get me. I could see the lights at Mayo Hospital above the treeline. I had Kat there. Bobby was going to take the boys home." <br /><br />Ben sustained injuries throughout his entire body including a collapsed lung, multiple broken ribs, vertebrae, right hip &amp; leg fractures, and a very extensive pelvic &amp; sacrum fracture that was unstable and bleeding internally. This required a trip to Eastern Maine Medical Center and immediate surgery. <br /><br />To know Benjamin is to know adventure. Want to check out the bottom of Sebec Lake? Ben has gear, and he'll gladly take you. Time with Kat and the four boys is often filled with hiking, kayaking, ice skating (or road hockey), soccer, snowboarding... his big concern after surgery was which of his siblings would be able to take his boys skiing so they could continue building upon their skills. <br /><br />Ben is never still or idle. <br />He will need to learn to walk again. <br />It will be a long and hard journey for this wonderful soul, and he will need all of us to get through it. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53249928_1608072415701680_r.jpeg" alt="53249928_1608072415701680_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Benjamin Osias Fagan is incredibly loved by his entire (HUGE) family &amp; a cherished friend. His fiancée Kat &amp; his boys, Pierce, Hayden, Parker, &amp; Mason are his world. He's been a Firefighter II with the DFFD since 1999. He has given so much to this small community. He's showed up in some of the worst moments of someone's life &amp; been their strength. A Tree Fell On Fire Fighter Ben

Brayson Dunton is a 9 year old boy from Dover-Foxcroft.  He was recently diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.  Surgeons from the Boston Children's Hospital will attempt to remove it.  He was flown there from Bangor 2 nights ago.  He will be facing several obstacles going forward.  His mother, Jenn, and father, Darek, will be there by his side, as well as, many other family members.  There will be a very large financial burden placed on the family.  Any amount that can be donated will go a long way in reducing the financial stress from the family.<br /><br />Thank You

This past weekend the University of Maine and Husson wrestling teams have traveled to Allen, Texas to represent their respective universities in the prestigious NCWA National Championship tournament. Due to inclement weather the wrestlers and coaches are stuck in Texas until Thursday! We have been fundraising for this tournament for a long time and have used up all our remaining funds on this trip. With the expensive cost of housing for three additional nights, rental cars and flights, any donations towards the team would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and GO MAINE!

Our friend Chris O'Connell and his family have fallen on hard times. Friends and family, WE NEED YOUR HELP! The O'Connells recently had their property broken into with thousands of dollars of property stolen. To add to this heartbreak, just this week they've lost their furnace to heat their home (it's beyond repair), their hot water heater is broken and their family van is down for the count. Even their precious dog suffered an injury this week. If you know the O'Connells, you know how selfless and giving they are, as well as being hard-working and loving people. We are asking our family, friends and community to help out by giving any amount, large or small, so we can collectively lift this family up in their time of need. After contracting Hepatitis C it morphed into Cirrhosis 2 years ago.  My wife and I moved to Florida 2 years ago for my health which was quickly degenerating into terminal cancer stage.  We were working three jobs to maintain financial solvency, but as it progressed I had to quit my job. My wife, who was working two jobs, had to quit one so she could help me with my medical needs. This has caused financial hardship with mortgage &amp; car payments, utilities and other basic needs. Having terminal cancer is not only the physical hardship that most endure but also the emotional toll of desiring your wife not to be overly burdened with the demands that life with cancer brings; that is something that really is important to me.  Anything you can do to alleviate that financial stress is much appreciated as I would like to make sure she is not burdened further.  God bless all that can help, if even if it is prayer that is something that is most necessary to our emotional and spiritual health.

<strong>Jillian is my little girl.  She is diagnosed with regressive autism and has several other medical conditions also; to include severe gastrointestinal inflammation, metabolic disorders, mitochondrial dysfunction and severe methylation dysfunction.   Keeping her healthy is a full time job, requiring frequent medical testing and costly dietary intervention.  I am asking for help with costs this summer as I work in a local school and am not employed for the next few months, and must be home to care for her as she is out of school also.  She needs several tests done in the very near future that are not covered by insurance that will hopefully point us in some new directions to help her and further our quest to improve her health.  She has struggled with her medical issues immensely for many months now and we are hoping to find some new answers for her.  Donations would also help us with her daily regular care, food and any interventions that these tests point to.  I would be eternally grateful for any amount you can contribute to help her.   Thank you very much.   </strong>
