<p>I’m raising funds for my grandson, Baby John, and the funeral expenses our family is now facing after losing him at just 3 months old.
</p><br />
<p>Baby John was born early and went through so much in his short life. He had serious health issues, including problems with his lungs, a feeding tube placed into his stomach, and a heart condition that made him a candidate for heart surgery next month. Despite everything he had already endured, Baby John passed away after succumbing to pulmonary aspiration, even with his parents and the ambulance trying CPR to save him.
</p><br />
<p>This loss has shattered their whole world. My son had just started a new job and now has to take time away from work to grieve the loss of his baby. Baby John’s mother is also in deep disbelief, and both of them are heartbroken as they try to face this unimaginable pain.
</p><br />
<p>The funds raised will help cover Baby John’s cremation, the rental of the funeral home, a priest for the service, and food and drinks for those coming to support the family in their loss. If there is anything extra, it will help Baby John’s parents get back on their feet while they grieve and begin to heal. These expenses need to be covered within the next month.
</p><br />
<p>Any support, no matter the amount, would mean so much to our family during this painful time. If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Baby John’s parents in your prayers.

Baby John's Funeral and Family Support

<div>I'm starting this fundraiser for a <strong>Red Baron employee</strong> who was publicly harassed by a streamer while simply trying to get through the day and do their job. According to what happened, the streamer approached this worker and pretended to steal money using the worker’s phone. It was not taken as a joke, especially because this employee was already having a very rough day. In that moment, the worker tried to explain that they work extremely hard and that what was happening was not funny, but they were laughed at and treated like their feelings did not matter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now the incident has gone viral, and there is real concern that this hardworking person could lose their job because of a situation they did not create. I want to help give this employee some breathing room while everything unfolds, especially so they can keep supporting their family and have some protection if they are fired. This fundraiser is about standing up for a working person who is busting their butt and should not have to fear losing stability because someone wanted content and clicks. If you can, please donate and share to help push back against rage-bait harassment and show this worker that people care. All funds will be sent directly to Walt. God bless.

<div>
 There are certain people who come into your life and, somewhere along the way, become part of who you are. For me, that person is Anja. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call her my best friend. We’ve shared so many different chapters of life, growing, changing, laughing, and navigating whatever life has brought our way. Through it all, Anja has been one of my constants.
</div>
<div>
 She’s the kind of friend you can talk to about absolutely anything. The kind who makes you feel heard and understood without ever having to explain too much. The kind who shows up, quietly and genuinely, simply because that’s who she is. She’s been there for me through so many seasons of my life, and I wish more than anything that I could make this chapter of hers a little easier.
</div>
<div>
 Anja is also a devoted wife and a loving mother to three beautiful young children. Her family is her world, and right now, they are navigating something no family should have to face. For the past 5 months, Anja and her family have been facing an incredibly difficult journey.
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Anja has been suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.</strong> She underwent surgery shortly after and just recently completed her first round of chemotherapy, but unfortunately, the results were not what everyone had hoped and prayed for. Liver metastasis has grown
</div>
<div>
 and will need to be surgically removed. In just a couple of weeks, she is scheduled to undergo a second surgery, and depending on the outcome of the surgery, she may require a second round of chemotherapy.
</div>
<div>
 <strong>As you can imagine, this journey has brought enormous emotional, physical, and financial challenges, not only for Anja but for her husband and their three children.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 While we cannot take away the challenges of her diagnosis, we can come together to help lighten the burden she and her family are carrying.
</div>
<div>
 I’m starting this fundraiser in the hope that we can come together to ease some of the financial pressure they’re facing. Donations will help with medical treatments, surgery-related expenses, medications, lost income, and the everyday costs of caring for a family of five.
</div>
<div>
 My hope is that by easing some of these financial worries, Anja can focus on her treatment, recovery, and spending meaningful time with her family.
</div>
<div>
 If you know Anja, you know how much she means to those around her. And even if you’ve never met her, I hope you’ll consider helping a mother, a wife, and a wonderful friend during a time when support means more than words can express.
</div>
<div>
 Whether you can make a donation, share this fundraiser, or simply keep Anja and her family in your thoughts and prayers, every gesture of support means more than I can put into words.
</div>
<div>
 More than anything, I want Anja to know that she is loved, that she is supported, and that she doesn’t have to carry all of this alone.
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for taking the time to read her story, for your generosity, and for being part of the love surrounding Anja and her family.
</div>
<div>

</div>
<div>
 With love and gratitude,
</div>

Standing with Anja Through Her Cancer Journey

<div><strong>For Leo and Hermie Norberte, owners of JN Coffee Farms</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On the night of August 15, 2026 Leo and Hermie were woken from bed with a loud bang followed by rushing flood water quickly filling their home. The gulch located behind their home overflowed and broke their back door in half. With no exit route, massive floodwater quickly filled their home. Leo, the survivor that he is broke the front window to escape the rising waters. Hawaii firefighters were called and rescued my elderly parents. At that moment, Hurricane Lala wiped out Leo and Hermie Norberte’s home and family coffee business.

</div>

<div>The Norbertes have lived in that home for more than 40 years, and after the storm, they lost nearly everything except the clothes hanging in the closet. This is the home their family has known since the 1980s, a place that has long been a gathering space for family and friends. Leo is an amazing cook who loves feeding and welcoming guests, and together Leo and Hermie not only built a loving home, but also a thriving coffee business that reflects their hard work, care, and dedication. Their award-winning product is loved by many, and their customers have been a joyful part of their lives for years. Since this devastation Leo and Hermie have been displaced from their home and business has come to a halt.

</div>

<div> Joann is raising funds to help her parents Leo and Hermie rebuild both their family home and the coffee business that they worked their entire lives to create. Donations will help replace essential appliances, furniture, cabinetry, and household goods, while also helping restore the processing area needed to bring their coffee harvest back to life. Most of their farmland survived the hurricane, but without the processing plant within their home, the harvest cannot be used. Please join Joann in helping parents Leo and Hermie recover from this devastating loss and rebuild the home and business that mean so much to their family and community. Thank you all for your love, kindness, and support. Mahalo.

<div>With heavy hearts we share the loss of sweet Kalena who passed away at just 16 years old. Kalena was in a tragic car accident driving on Pali Highway, Oahu on June 18th, 2026.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kalena was a courageous, strong, creative, and adventurous soul. She was ambitious, driven and determined. She had her future mapped out and was well on her way to executing it. She loved exploring the world and discovering treasures in any second hand stores she could find, and she found joy in serving at the nearby food bank.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most of all, Kalena was a deeply loved daughter to Rick and Alicia, a cherished sister to Kai and Kekoa, and a beloved granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Her kindness, laughter, free spirit, and loving heart will leave a lasting impact on the many lives she touched.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kalena loved this island and gave to it in her own quiet ways. This fundraiser was created to support the Abelmann Ohana as they navigate this sudden and tragic loss. Contributions go toward funeral and memorial expenses and any amount beyond that will be directed to local causes and organizations that reflect her passions and spirit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Abelmann Ohana is grateful for the love, prayers, and generosity our community has shown. Mahalo, from the bottom of their hearts.

Support for the Abelmann Ohana After Tragic Loss

<div>On May 30th, my son Kekoa Tamale, a 23-year-old Hawaiian/Tongan Waimea Valley lifeguard and aspiring musician, was brutally attacked on the North Shore, along with a 15 year-old Hawaiian boy, an honor-roll student and all-star athlete. Both were kicked and beaten unconscious and almost drowned by a group of 20 teens and adults.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Both Kekoa and this young boy were rushed to the ER with severe injuries. Kekoa suffered broken hand and eye sockets, had plastic surgery to reconstruct his eyelid, a concussion, and bruising all over his body. The young boy suffered a broken nose, concussion, possible loss of vision in one eye, loose teeth, and a severe knee injury. Out of respect for his privacy and his family's wishes we are keeping the 15 year-old victim's identity protected.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are both now recovering at home under close medical supervision, and lucky to be alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To add insult to injury, the attackers, who had filmed the entire incident, took the time to edit and create a whole reel of the attack, glorifying the violence, and posted it to TikTok. We're actively in investigations to identify all the attackers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They didn't deserve any of this, and do not deserve to suffer the fall-out of such a senseless and evil act. Kekoa and this young boy have a long road ahead of them and I'd like to ask our communities' support in helping them recover. If you are able, we are collecting funds for medical and legal costs, and Kekoa's lost wages while he recovers. Any help is greatly appreciated to help them get back on their feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All donations will be split equally between Kekoa and the young boy 50/50.

Help Kekoa and Young Teen Recover from Brutal Attack

<div>Aloha, please consider making a donation to Marck Aphay and Merrily Cazimero, who lost their home to the devastating Kona low storm that ravaged much of Waialua. The flood destroyed the couple's house of more than 12 years after tearing it from the ground and pushing it directly into Waialua Bridge. While they wait to see what they can do, the two and their family are helping their neighbors who also lost their homes, demonstrating incredible resilience and generosity during an overwhelming crisis.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The couple and their children would greatly appreciate any contribution.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Mahalo nui and aloha.

Help Rebuild Marck and Merrily's Home in Waialua

<div>My name is Joeffrey Balanay, and I am a farmer from the Waialua/Mokule’ia area of O’ahu. I am raising funds for immediate and urgent needs as my farm was disastrously hit by the recent March 2026 Kona Low storms.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am a Filipino sugar cane farmer. As you may know, sugar cane has been a staple crop of Hawai’i for hundreds of years. About 4 years ago, I became a sugarcane farmer after finding out I was diabetic; before that, I harvested okra, papaya, banana, lemongrass, &amp; bittermelon, to name a few. I often bring my sugarcane harvests to farmers markets where I can sell the juice to my community; I love seeing people walk away with big smiles on their faces after trying my natural sugarcane juice. It brings me joy and happiness to see both young and old customers enjoy my sugarcane. As much as I enjoy and love being a farmer, when I’m not working in the fields, I also enjoy spending time fixing up and working on vintage Volkswagen cars like bugs and dune buggys. It keeps my mind sharp and is a good break from being out in the fields all day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>However, all of that changed when the storms hit.</strong> The heavy rain washed away all the crops in my fields—all my sugarcane lost. The winds and intense flooding tore through the shack that I built to shelter my car projects; the cars are now severely damaged and unsalvageable. I could not save any of it and am left devastated. These were my passions, the loves of life; two things that brought me so much joy and meaning. Both of them gone away with the storms.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of this, I humbly turn to my community for support as I begin to recover all that I have lost. Thank you so much to those who have taken the time to read my story as well as those who decide to share it. Please know that any contribution, big or small, is deeply appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you.
</div>

<div>This GoFundMe was created by the volunteers from Help Maui Rise for the Storm Kōkua initiative and will directly benefit Joeffrey Balanay and his bank information was added for him to withdraw directly.

Help Joeffrey Restore His Farm and Passions

<div>Aloha everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Kamalani Pico, and alongside my sister's best friend, Joreen Kepa. We are coming together to start this GoFundMe to support the Heimuli family during this devastating time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Deisha Lei, her husband Martin, and their five children- Taleah, Sotia, Teia, Tenelle and Taimani- was displaced from their home and lost nearly everything inside due to severe flooding and mold contamination on the island of Moloka'i.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are a family of seven, with two children in high school and three in elementary school. In a matter of hours, their lives drastically changed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Deisha is a special education teacher at our local elementary school and someone who has always shown up for others. She volunteers and supports families in need and is always giving back to her community every chance she gets. During covid she helped organize food drives and when the Lahaina wildfire devasted Maui she was one of the first to take supplies over by boat to help affected families. Martin volunteers his time coaching kids soccer and high school football. Now they are the ones who need help. Their home received major water damage and due to severe mold contamination almost nothing inside could be saved. They lost their beds, clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances and every day essentials. They are truly starting over from nothing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of their daughters, Tenelle, has an underlying health condition which makes this situation even more challenging. On top of everything, their small family business has also been impacted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Moloka'i is a tight-knit community with very limited resources. We don't have access to major stores like Costco, Target, Walmart, Home Depot. We rely heavily on barge shipments for basic necessities. Additionally, with so many families being affected during this time, resources have been stretched thin and are extremely limited, making recovery even more difficult and slow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is not easy for Deisha and Martin to ask for help so we are doing it for them. They are the kind of people who are used to helping everyone else, but right now they need the support of others to get back on their feet to provide stability for their children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. Every bit of support helps. If you're unable to give, simply sharing this fundraiser and keeping them in your prayers would mean the world to our us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mahalo nui loa for your kindness, support, and prayers during this time.
</div>

Family of 7 affected in Molokai Flooding-Help them restart

<div>Please help the Lum Ohana in Waialua as they work to repair their home and get back to normal life after the unprecedented flooding caused by the Kona Low Storm. Their home and farmland incurred significant damages, with the plumbing, dry wall and windows, roof, etc. in need of repair. Essentials including their two cars, washer &amp; dryer, refrigerator, generators, lawnmower etc. have been ruined. Business supplies for their farm were also affected. 100% of funds will go to Terry &amp; Kurt Lum for their urgent and immediate needs.
</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>While the road to recovery will be long, every bit of support will help them rebuild. Anything helps. If you can contribute, your kindness will make a real difference.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Kara Kozuma, and I’m starting this for the Lum family (my sister’s boyfriend and his family) &amp; their farm (the Lum Farm). Funds will be managed by Sean Lum.
