What was originally scheduled as a routine biopsy quickly turned into an emergency craniotomy after a morning MRI revealed the tumor had grown rapidly in less than two weeks. The neurosurgical team made the difficult but necessary decision to proceed immediately with surgery.

Scheduling radiation treatments has also proven to be difficult amid these ongoing complications.
