Support a Life-Saving Incubator for Vulnerable Kittens. My name is Monika, and I operate an independent nonprofit cat rescue (Califia Cat Rescue) run entirely by just two people, my partner and me. Together, we are dedicated to helping abandoned, injured, and at-risk cats and kittens in our local communities. We work directly in the neighborhoods where these animals are found, providing hands-on rescue, medical care, and daily support to those who would otherwise have no chance at survival. A significant portion of the animals we take in are very young or medically fragile kittens. Many arrive cold, underweight, dehydrated, or suffering from illness. At this stage of life, kittens are unable to regulate their own body temperature, and maintaining proper warmth and humidity is essential for survival. To better meet these needs, I am fundraising for a proper incubator. This specialized equipment provides a controlled, stable environment that supports: Safe and consistent body temperature Proper humidity for respiratory health Reduced stress and infection risk during recovery An incubator will allow me to deliver a higher standard of care, especially during the most critical and vulnerable time. It significantly improves outcomes for kittens who require intensive support. Our rescue is run independently, without a physical shelter or paid staff. Every resource we provide, from medical treatment to daily care is made possible through donations and personal commitment. This incubator would be a long-term investment, allowing us to save more lives and provide safer, more effective care for the kittens who need it most.
