<div>Our family is asking for help during one of the most difficult seasons we have ever faced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mom, Nancy, is a loving mother, daughter, friend, and someone who has always been there for the people she loves. She lived in the United States for nearly 30 years, and for most of her life, the United States was the place she called home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, our family’s life changed almost overnight. My mom was detained by ICE when she attended one of her regular scheduled check-ins. She had continued attending her ICE check-ins and was doing what she was supposed to do when she was taken into custody.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After being held in ICE detention, my mom was deported to El Salvador.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After nearly three decades of building a life in the United States, raising her family, and caring for the people she loves, she has now been forced to leave behind almost everything she knew and begin again in a country she has not called home for nearly 30 years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mom is also the mother of a 4-year-old son who has gone with her to El Salvador. She also has a disabled mother in the United States who depended heavily on her care and support. Her sudden detention and deportation turned our entire family’s lives upside down, and we are doing everything we can to support everyone who depended on her while helping my mom and her young son build a new life in El Salvador.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, they are essentially starting from the ground up. They need a safe and stable place to live, transportation, food, clothing, and the everyday necessities that most of us rarely have to think about. At the same time, our family continues to face legal expenses and other costs associated with her detention, deportation, travel, and transition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We created this fundraiser to help with continued legal representation and related expenses, but most importantly, to give my mom and my little brother some stability as they begin rebuilding their lives in El Salvador. Donations will help with housing, food, transportation, basic necessities, and the many unexpected expenses that come with suddenly having to start over.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This has been an incredibly emotional and difficult time for our entire family. We wish more than anything that we could change what happened. Right now, all we can do is stand beside my mom, support the family who depends on her, and make sure she and my brother do not have to face this next chapter alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows my mom knows how much of her life she has spent caring for and helping the people around her. Now, during one of the hardest moments of her life, we are asking for help in doing the same for her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you aren’t able to donate, we completely understand. Simply sharing this fundraiser and keeping Nancy, my brother, and our family in your thoughts and prayers would mean more to us than we can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support. Every donation and every share will help give my mom and my brother a little more security, stability, and hope as they begin again.
</div>

Help Nancy Rebuild Her New Life In El Salvador

</div>
</div>

</div>
<div># Help Our Cousin Carlitos During This Difficult Time
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our cousin Carlitos is going through one of the most difficult moments of his life so far. Carlitos was unjustly detained by ICE in Houston, and he currently remains in custody while his legal immigration asylum application process continues, which he started in 2022. For our family, this situation has been completely unexpected and painful. Those of us who know Carlitos know that he is a hardworking, dedicated person with a genuine desire to better himself. He has always moved with effort and hope to build a better future, and today he needs our support more than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We created this campaign to help cover the costs of lawyers and legal representation during this process. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference for him and for our entire family. If you cannot donate at this time, you would also help us immensely by sharing this campaign with your family, friends, and acquaintances. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being with us, for your solidarity, and for helping Carlitos in this very difficult moment.

Ayudemos a Carlitos con Gastos Legales

<div><strong>My name is Juan Castaneda, and I’m organizing a marathon fundraiser for my father, Emilio. On October 5th, 2025, I will be running a marathon in his honor.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My dad has been detained by ICE for the past month and is currently being held at a detention center. He has a pending visa case. Although it is still not for certain, his legal team has advised him to request <strong>voluntary departure</strong> so he can continue his immigration process from Mexico. He has an upcoming court on October 2nd.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is an incredibly difficult moment for our family. After more than 30 years of building a life here, my father will have to start over from scratch outside the country. While he continues his case and works toward returning to the U.S. one day, we want to make sure he has the support he needs to get back on his feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to help cover:
</div>
<div>•	Legal expenses
</div>
<div>•	Transportation costs
</div>
<div>•	Basic living and logistical needs as he restarts his life abroad
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Running has always been a source of strength and resilience for me, and I want to dedicate this marathon to my father — as a symbol of the endurance, faith, and hope our family is holding onto during this time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping my dad during this transition.</strong> Even if you cannot give, we would be so grateful if you could share this campaign with others who may want to support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with us, for lifting up my dad Emilio, and for helping us keep hope alive for the day we can reunite as a family here in the United States.
</div>
<div><br />

Miles for Emilio

<div>On September 14, 2025, Constantina Ramirez and Moises Enciso were detained by ICE during a traffic stop on Cicero Avenue &amp; Pershing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a message from their oldest son:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Both of my parents were taken by ICE officials on Sunday morning. My mom and dad were detained on my brother's 10th birthday. My little brother and little sister have not been the same since that morning. Both of my parents go above and beyond for others. They are always willing to help out our neighbors. My mom is very into her faith and loves plants. My dad works in construction, and is very proud of the work he does. It feels like a bad dream to not have them around. It just doesn't feel right, the house feels very dark."
</div>
<div>The son also shared that he wants others to be aware, be safe, and have backup plans. "Prepare for the worst, because it is not an easy thing to go through. There is so much chaos that falls on you and it feels like your world is falling apart, so the more you can prepare the better."
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stand with Cicero families during this difficult and uncertain time — let’s keep families together!
</div>

Show solidarity! Fight for Cicero families to stay together!

<div>Another story of existing while Black. I was recently visiting a friend in Morton Grove, IL. As I waited in my car in the parking lot of his apartment complex, which is open to residents and visitors, I was aggressively approached by a white women, demanding that I tell her, who I was, what I was doing there, who I was waiting for, and so on. I told her I was waiting for a friend, but that just wasn’t good enough. She ultimately called the police, claiming I was being aggressive, on drugs, harassing her, yelling at people, recording people walking in and out, and the list goes on. When I was simply just sitting in my car waiting for my friend to come outside. The police arrived and the situation was addressed, and we all went our separate ways. Videos of the incident were posted and circulated via tiktok (@p.f.daddy). 911 recording was also obtained.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, these situations don’t always end with black men walking away, and I refuse to let her do so and target the next Black man she may come across for simply just existing while being Black. I’m seeking funding to assist with legal fees to sue for defamation of character, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and making a false report with malicious intent. Anything can help and is appreciated, Thank you guys a million.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, my name is María Andreína Paz Castillo. I'm a Venezuelan immigrant living in Chicago. I came to the U.S. in 2020 with a clear dream: to continue my career in dentistry.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm a licensed dentist in Venezuela, but like many immigrants, I had to start over. I worked as a dental assistant while preparing for the theoretical board exam (the same exam U.S.-trained dentists must take), which meant reviewing my entire career while working. I also passed the TOEFL (an academic English exam), applied to several universities—which was expensive and emotionally tough—and was finally accepted into the University, something rare for international students.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I'm in my second semester and currently have a perfect 4.0 out of 4.0 GPA (Grade Point Average, the U.S. academic grading scale). I truly love dentistry. I’m passionate about helping people recover their health, confidence, and well-being.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But now I’m facing a financial roadblock.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of my immigration status, I don’t qualify for FAFSA (federal student aid) or federal loans. I paid for the first semester with help from family and a private loan, but most private lenders require a cosigner (someone with U.S. credit who guarantees the loan), and I haven’t been able to find one. There is an alternative loan that doesn’t require a cosigner, but I can only apply for it when I have two years left in the program. Right now, I have two and a half years to go. That means I must pay for this summer semester myself in order to continue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My current debt for this semester is over $50,000. If I can’t pay it soon, I won’t be able to keep going, and everything I’ve worked for will be put on hold.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve done everything within my power, but now I need help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal isn’t just to graduate. I want to help other immigrant professionals revalidate their degrees and rebuild their careers in this country. That’s the kind of impact I want to make.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re in a position to support me with a larger amount and would prefer it to be treated as a loan, I’m open to that. I commit to repaying it once I finish my program.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing my story is already a huge help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading, and for believing in someone who refuses to give up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>*******
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Version en Español:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>

Support María's Journey to Revalidate Her Dental Degree

<div>HELLO, My name is KAROL GIL NUÑEZ AND I NEED YOUR SUPPORT I am raising funds for the RELEASE of my MOM MARICELA NUÑEZ, almost 50 years old. Her story is that of millions in Colombia who have fled violence. She arrived in the United States about 2 years looking for a refuge, a new opportunity to live in peace, fleeing the armed conflict that deeply marked her. With great effort he has kept his documents up to date and has a pending cut for 04/2026 in the hope of regularizing his situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But on June 06, 25, my mother was arrested by the ICE agency at her work in Chicago, United States. (video on tik tok) It is a situation that seems deeply unfair to us because she is not a criminal; she is a survivor who has followed the rules and has fought for her well-being. Now, she is behind bars, apart from being alone in the U.S., with an uncertain future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother's arrest is not only an immense emotional blow because we live in South America, but also a heavy economic burden. We have a pending legal process that requires significant resources for lawyers and associated costs. The situation is even more distressing because she cannot return to Colombia. Returning to his country would mean facing again the violence from which he escaped, risking his life. He is a recognized victim of the armed conflict (R.U.V), and his safety is at stake.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's why today, I ask you for your help. Every day that passes without her is a torment. Together, we can make a difference. We need to raise funds to cover your legal expenses and make sure you receive proper representation in your pending court. With your support, we hope we can achieve his liberation and that he can finally recover the freedom he longs for and deserves so much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together for Mom: Help us for her release in the United States. Each donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to their liberation and the peace they long for so much. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this fight for justice!
</div>
<div><a href="https://youtube.com/shorts/8kdXyQDcqjE?si=nbfnPb2plEyda-ed" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://youtube.com/shorts/8kdXyQDcqjE?si=nbfnPb2plEyda-ed" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://youtube.com/shorts/8kdXyQDcqjE?si=nbfnPb2plEyda-ed</a></a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>

TOGETHER FOR MOM: HELP US FOR HER RELEASE IN THE U.S.

<div>In the early morning of January, <strong>Khalie’s childhood home was tragically destroyed by an unexpected electrical fire.</strong> Khalie, a passionate content creator known for transforming and cleaning her beloved family home, now faces the unimaginable reality of losing everything they have worked so hard to preserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fire claimed not only the physical home but also years of cherished memories. Among the losses were her dad’s treasured guitars, irreplaceable mementos, and valuable items generously donated by her loyal online community. Even more devastating, her beloved bearded dragon, Lilith, tragically passed away during the fire. While we are incredibly thankful that no human lives were lost, the pain of losing a family pet and the home that held countless memories is immeasurable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fire consumed the house within moments, leaving nothing salvageable and halting life for everyone involved. Khalie and her family now face the daunting challenge of recovering from this life-altering event, finding a new place to live, and starting over from scratch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are reaching out to anyone who can help during this time of need. <strong>Your support, no matter the amount, will go a long way in helping Khalie and her family rebuild their lives, relocate, and recover from this unexpected tragedy.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your generosity and for being part of the community that Khalie has always cherished. Every donation brings hope and healing to a family in the wake of this heartbreaking loss.
