The cost of just getting to the hospital is overwhelming. Between hotel stays, vehicle rentals, gas, and food, each trip requires significant resources. And these aren’t one-time trips—they’re ongoing. No one knows how many more will be needed. If it’s every week or even every couple of weeks, the cost adds up fast. On top of that, their only car already has over 108,000 miles on it. Relying on it for repeated 6-hour drives is becoming a real risk they can’t afford to take right now. This is the cost of trying to keep Brandon alive while waiting for a transplant. His partner has been working two jobs since March just to stay afloat while also caring for him. She is now going through the process of trying to become a living donor herself—something that could save his life, but will also take her away from work and reduce their already limited income. They are doing everything they can. But they cannot do this alone. I want to be transparent: I don’t know Brandon personally. I work with his partner, and I see firsthand the kind of person she is. She is one of the most dedicated and compassionate nurses I know. She shows up for others every single day, no matter how hard things get. Watching what she’s going through now—still trying to care for him, hold everything together, and fight for his life—says everything. If she’s fighting this hard for him, it’s because he’s worth fighting for. She’s the one who takes care of others. Right now, she needs help too. Funds will go toward ongoing long-distance travel (6 hours each way) to the transplant hospital, hotel stays and temporary lodging, transportation costs (vehicle rentals, gas, wear on their car), medical-related expenses not fully covered, basic living costs while Brandon cannot work, and support during recovery if the transplant happens. This is a race against time. If you can donate, it will directly help keep Brandon in the fight for his life. If you can’t, sharing this page could reach someone who can. Every share matters. Every act of support matters. Your kindness and generosity can make a real difference in their lives.

We are raising funds to help purchase a Cubby Bed! This is a safe enclosure bed for my autistic nephew, who needs a secure and comforting place to sleep.

He’s an amazing 4 year old that is full of personality, curiosity, and has the biggest heart, but nighttime can be very challenging for him and his parents. He often struggles with sleep, sensory overload, and staying all night safely in his bed. Nighttime can be overwhelming for him and exhausting for my sister and brother n law. It’s hard to get a restful nights sleep or even go to sleep at times when they are worried about him wandering or hurting himself accidentally while in the bed. His specialists have recommended that they purchase a Cubby bed for him.

A Cubby Bed would give him:

A safe, enclosed sleeping space, so he can’t fall and get entrapped or wander.

A place that helps him feel comfortable, secure, and grounded

A way for his parents to finally rest knowing he’s safe

This bed is truly life changing for families of children with autism and sensory needs — but it’s also very expensive!! While some insurances cover the Cubby beds, unfortunately, their insurance does not.

We are hoping to raise $12,000 to purchase the bed, canopy, and mattress. Every single dollar brings us closer to giving him the safety and comfort he deserves!!

Pray, send love, or simply share kind words — all support means more than you know!

Thank you for helping us give him a space where he can sleep safely, rest, and feel secure every night. Our family is beyond grateful for your love and generosity! Your support is greatly appreciated!!

Help Us Get a Safe, Comfortable Cubby Bed for a Sweet Boy

My name is Brandon. On Mon, April 21st, my mother passed away. My family and I learned that she no longer had life insurance, which she had always kept. I have been struggling with my own health issues and haven't been able to work in months, while also taking care of my Mom in her final months. I had the best Mom, the kindest and most sweetest person I've ever known. Please help me say goodbye to an extraordinary woman, she deserves. Thank you and God bless

Hi, my name is Abby Chancellor. My brother and sister-in-law, Austin and Pam, unfortunately lost their home to a fire on Monday, November 25th. Thankfully, no one was home, and they were able to get their dog, River, out before she was harmed. However, their house has suffered unbelievable damage. As of now, we are unsure if they will be able to salvage anything.

We are creating this for anyone who would like to help with their immediate needs. With the holidays coming up, we want to help them as much as possible. Anything donated will be greatly appreciated.

For those that don’t know Clemson’s starting DT Bryan Bresee lost his 15 year old sister Ella Bresee to brain cancer on September 15, 2022. My hopes in starting this go fund me is that we as Tennessee Vols show support to an upcoming opposing player, and to people like Miss Ella that had to battle such a terrible disease. At the end of the day it’s truly not just about the game, winning, or losing. Players, players families, and fans are what makes college football to greatest sport on this earth, they’re/we’re the drive behind it all. 1000% of donations will go to Ella’s Cure Me Fund in the name of VolNation. https://www.curemedullo.org/cure-me-fund/ellas-cureme-fund/ (This is a direct link to where all of our proceeds will go if you would rather donate that way. This is the organization that the Bresee family requested donations to be made to)

Each dollar donated will support promising research for Medulloblastoma. Every last penny will be donated, and we will provide receipts of that . We will donate all the proceeds on the day of the Orange Bowl, December 30, 2022.

Hey! Two years ago a tornado ripped through Tennessee. We live in Cookeville and it destroyed our home and left Gavin severely injured. He spent 2-3 weeks in East Tennessee Childrens hospital fighting his injuries. He has made a full recovery physically from those injuries and has even been cleared to play sports. It’s now time to have his teeth and mouth fixed from those injuries. He lost 8 permanent teeth and will require lots of work to repair. It’s now been too long for any sort of disaster assistance, so I’m asking for some help as we still recover. He is a big Vols fan! Thanks!

She has been on life support about a half dozen times but so far has always defied the odds! We are in need of some help to purchase a van to be modified to help make life a lot easier!

Gabby has special needs and is in a wheelchair, She has encephalopathy, suspected mito, progressive generalized cerebral atrophy since age 3, hypotonia, muscle weakness, global developmental delay, adrenal insufficiency, anxiety, compromised immune system, osteopenia, prn o2, gtube, cecostomy tube, mitrofanoff for cathing, a port a cath and AFOs.

We are in need of help getting a van suitable to transfer Gabby to and from places such as doctor, hospital, therapy appointments and out and about in the community. She is a big baseball fan so we enjoy going to watch our local college baseball team and Gabby also plays on our local Miracle League team! I am having to lift her to help her get in/out of our current van, Transferring from carseat to wheelchair and back to carseat is hard. Lifting the portable ramp we are currently using to put her chair in is also very heavy and is causing a lot of back pain.

Our current van cannot be modified because of high mileage and condition. Check engine light is on and we have already done work to it and something else comes up when 1 thing is fixed.

She will be safer sitting in her customized wheelchair... Less risk of injury transferring, better quality of life being able to go more places.. Makes going to doctors and hospital appointments easier.. Dont have to wake her up if shes sleeping.. When shes having increased seizures she sleeps more so it would help not having to wake her up to transfer. Her wheelchair can be reclined so her head doesn't fall over like it does in carseat making breathing easier on days she doesnt feel well. She gets tired easily especially if we are out so she can sleep in her wheelchair if we can get an accessible van! It would also be safer by not being exposed to weather as much.. Currently when it rains she gets much wetter because I have to use the ramp to get wheelchair out then put ramp up getting her really wet then having to transfer her into wet wheelchair.. If we had a modified van she'd already be in wheelchair and ramp would be automatic so could just roll her out and go. The ramp would automatically go back up resulting in getting out of rain faster and decreasing chance of getting sick. Same with cold/hot, I could get her in/out faster.

If she were able to ride in her wheelchair all of her stuff would be right there on the back and not have to take stuff on/off like I do now. If she needs o2 or hooked up to feeding pump I would have to move it from chair in the back to her carseat but if she were to ride in her wheelchair it would stay on it making going places easier.

A modified van would just make life sooo much easier on all of us!

I am looking to get a really good used newer van with low mileage, Insurance will help with modifications but will not help with actual van purchase.

Please donate and share with your friends and other pages! PLEASE help us out! If we raise more money than needed to purchase the van, the rest will be used to help with van upkeep, gas and other needs for Gabby as they arise.

Facebook.com/GabbysAngels627

She has always held a special place in my heart as a kind, giving, sweet-spirited child and continues with those qualities as a young adult woman. She has always been a very positive person who, despite recent issues with her health, is still doing all she can to stay positive and upbeat as possible. We all know Susan is a TOUGH gal and we know she will fight HARD, but this is going to be her toughest battle yet.

Susan has already undergone surgery and just started her cancer journey with numerous chemo treatments to fight her Stage 2B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She is currently undergoing ABVD, which is a chemotherapy combination of four different drugs that will be injected through her chemo port every other Thursday. While she is winning the fight against cancer, the battle against medical bills are looming. I am asking you, on her behalf, to consider donating to help pay for the life-saving treatment she is receiving from UT Medical Center. If you have nothing to give, please consider keeping Susan in your prayers.

It started this year when she returned from vacation and was admitted into the hospital with "stroke-like symptoms". While the CT scans showed positive results for her brain, cancer was revealed in her chest, shoulder and neck. A few biopsies were done and the same day that the diagnosis was confirmed, the chemo treatment began. She was immediately hospitalized for treatment and continued testing. The chemo treatment plan for now is about six months long, but that can change depending on how her body reacts to the chemotherapy. The hope is with the Go Fund Me Page, money can be raised for the medical bills and medication. Any help you can provide is appreciated and I know she is very thankful for all the support and prayers during this challenging time.

Susan's Cancer Fight

Hello everyone, as some may have heard that Covid-19 has affected one of our own. Kenneth Salter has contracted Covid-19 while dropping his son off to college in Tennessee. Shortly after, he was admitted to ICU while there. It is going on 2 weeks that he has been hospitalized. His wife and 5 children have all been by his side during this process and unexpected expenses have occurred. The family has been staying in a hotel while there in Tennessee and has incurred lodging, food, and travel expenses. There is no particular date to know when Kenneth will be released from the hospital, but we all know that bills do not stop. We are asking for any help to allow his wife Mistee Salter to be able to afford the expenses that have occurred as a result of Ken being in ICU & unable to provide for his family financially. Currently both parents are involuntarily stationed in Tennessee and unable to work until Kenneth is out of ICU. Any help will be appreciated.

This fundraiser has been reviewed and approved by the University of Tennessee Athletics Compliance Office in accordance with NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.7 .

SALTER FAMILY ROAD TO RECOVERY

My sweet little first grader Alexis has a long road to recovery. She went into the hospital to see why she was having stomach pain. They had to do emergency surgery. Her bowels were twisted. The intestines were damaged and she has had almost her entire small intestines removed. My heart is breaking for her and her precious family. Rodney and Christy we love you!! Everyone keeps asking what they can do to help and their answer is always PRAY. These next months will be extremely difficult for them. I know they would never ask for money BUT Let’s share our love with them. They will be making multiple trips to Knoxville over the next months, taking time off work, paying medical bills etc. Every donation big or small will help!! Thank you in advance!! Please keep praying, I know it means the word to her family!!
