I have organized this fundraiser for my coworker Owin who is a Navy Veteran, his partner Sarah and their daughter who is less than a year old. On March 1st their daughter suffered a severe unknown medical incident during her nap. Owin, immediately began CPR to which she did not respond. She was rushed to the hospital, where they were able to resuscitate her.

As Owin and Sarah prepared for the worst, their daughter wasn't giving up. As of Monday night, March 2nd, she is medically stable. Her organs have regained normal function and her heart is beating.

While we are beyond blessed to still have her with us, this will be nothing short of a treacherous journey for Owin and Sarah and their daughter.

Owin is newer to our company and unfortunately does not yet qualify for paid leave. Fortunately we work for a great company and they have agreed to secure his job while he takes time to be with his daughter during this time, but that still leaves bills left to be paid.

We are asking for donations to help Owin and Sarah with regular expenses, such as rent, gas, and groceries, as well as the towering medical expenses they are going to be faced with.

We know that sweet baby is a fighter and her making it through the initial fight is a miracle.
