<div>As many of you may already know, Deborah Richardson and her family have been going through a difficult time right now. They are trying to raise funds to help pay for cost of traveling, food, hotels, medical bills, and some household bills. They are working on one income now so you can imagine how difficult it must be for them to make ends meet. They would appreciate any amount you can donate. Your support will truly make a difference.

<div>Deborah Richardson was diagnosed with stage 4 advanced pancreatic cancer in January of 2026. She is a wife, sister, amazing mother to two daughters, and a friend to all who meet her. She will put a smile on your face and truly has the ability to light up a room. Anyone who knows Deborah knows that she would do anything for anyone, this is evident in her always putting the needs of others before her own. She leads by example and shows what it means to be a caring, patient, and compassionate person. Deborah loves deeply.

<div>Since the diagnosis, Deborah has been battling cancer head on. Because of this, she has had to step away from work which adds to the increasing stress the family is under. As a care giver, she worked seven days a week doing what she loved. She was not scared of working hard for others and bringing smiles to their faces. She misses talking with them and sharing stories, taking them to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, and helping them feel special by taking them to hair appointments.

<div>She has been blessed to be accepted into a clinical trial at John Hopkins, for those unaware it is not easy to find/and or be accepted into one but with her faith, strong will, and support she’s determined to be the one find to a cure, the one that can help and inspire those going through their battle with cancer. This is DEBORAHS JOURNEY, the out-of-state travel multiple times a month is draining, not just physically but also financially. The Richardson family is asking for donations to help with travel expenses to and from John Hopkins, and any other financial burdens that may and will arise during this incredibly difficult time.

<div>I visited the Gold Coast after her mum nominated her, and meeting her in Woolworths is something I’ll never forget. I actually didn’t know if she’d know who I was but she did lol!
</div>

<div>In January, she was diagnosed with cancer in her kidney, lungs and neck. Doctors have told her she may have 3 years without treatment, or up to 8 years with treatment. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The treatment she’s hoping to access is estimated to cost $67,000 AUD, and will involve travelling to Germany for specialised care.
</div>

</div>
<div>She has three beautiful children 12, 16 and 19  including a 12-year-old with autism and additional learning difficulties. When I falling with her, her biggest fear wasn’t herself… it was leaving her kids and parents too soon.
</div>

</div>
<div>The donations will go towards:

<div>"My name is Christina, and I am reaching out for my dad. He is a Veteran living in Hampton, Virginia, and he will turn 57 this June. For the past five years, he has been fighting leukemia. He wants to keep going, but the cancer keeps coming back, and each round of treatment takes more out of him.

</div>
<div>He and his wife are raising three young children, ages 11, 9, and 6. They are doing everything they can to hold things together. His wife works long hours to help pay for treatment, while my dad is in and out of the hospital, still trying to care for his children and manage daily life with very little help.
</div>

<div>Watching this from far away is incredibly painful. I live in Germany with my own two young children, and I cannot afford to travel to be with him as much as I would like to. I wish I could be there to support him, to help with the kids, or simply sit beside him so he does not feel alone during this time.

<div>My dad has always been strong and tried to carry everything on his own. Now he is exhausted, and he needs support. Hearing him speak about the future has been heartbreaking. I just want him to have more time with his children and to feel some peace instead of constant worry.

<div>Any support would mean so much to our family. It could help with childcare, daily needs, and give my dad the space to focus on his health. More than anything, it would remind him that he is not alone and that people care about what he is going through."
