Friday the 9th of January, in the early hours of this morning, a house fire burned Adrianna’s home to the ground.  Everything is gone. Clothes. Beds. Baby items. Food. Furniture. The small sense of safety they had just rebuilt. Adrianna is only 14 years old. She is pregnant. She is two weeks away from giving birth. And tonight, she has nothing.A 14 Year Old Has Nowhere Safe To Give Birth Why this story is so important Just last month, Twin Palms Foundation helped Adrianna, her mother, and her two younger siblings escape petersfield shelter where Adrianna was being assaulted. She was a child. She was pregnant. She was not safe. We intervened urgently. With the support of people from around the world, we raised funds to rebuild the roof of a small home so this family could finally leave the shelter and start again, Many of you will remember Adrianna’s story. When we shared it, people responded immediately. Baby clothes arrived. Gifts arrived. Messages of love arrived. Strangers stepped up to protect a child they had never met. For the first time in a long time, Adrianna felt hope. They had just moved out of the shelter. They were preparing for the baby. They believed the worst was behind them. Then, in the early hours of this morning, a fire destroyed everything. They have nothing left No shelter. No belongings. No baby essentials. No clothes for the children. No safe place for Adrianna to give birth. A 14 year old girl, weeks from becoming a mother, is homeless again. This is devastating. But we cannot let this be the end of her story. Why we are raising funds This fundraiser is being raised on behalf of Adrianna and her family. Twin Palms Foundation is coordinating this effort directly, and we are committed to full transparency and accountability at every stage. All funds raised will be used for the following: • Emergency accommodation so Adrianna can give birth safely, comfortably, and with dignity • Immediate housing support so her siblings are not sleeping without protection • Rebuilding materials to restore a safe and permanent home • Household essentials including beds, cooking items, and basic furniture • Children’s and infant clothing for Adrianna, her baby, her mother, and her siblings How the rebuilding will happen Twin Palms Foundation will be working hands on with local contracters, suppliers, and community partners to rebuild Adrianna’s home in a safer location. We will: • Source materials directly to avoid misuse of funds • Oversee construction and repairs step by step • Provide regular updates with photos and progress reports • Ensure the home is safe, secure, and suitable for a newborn baby This is a coordinated rebuilding effort to protect a child and her family.
