<div>Our family has been turned upside down by a devastating accident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our sweet nephew, Chace, was seriously injured in a fire and was transferred to SickKids Hospital, where he is receiving specialized care for burns covering approximately 60% of his body. He is now beginning what will be a long and incredibly challenging road to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Doctors expect Chace to remain hospitalized for at least 6 to 8 weeks, followed by months of rehabilitation, surgeries, and ongoing treatment. Throughout this journey, his parents will be by his side every step of the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As you can imagine, this tragedy has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on their family. With both of Chace’s parents expected to be away from work for an extended period, they are facing loss of income while also managing the many expenses that come with a prolonged hospital stay, including travel, meals, parking, accommodations, and other unforeseen costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re asking for your support to help ease some of that financial burden so they can focus on what matters most - being there for Chace as he fights to heal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No donation is too small, and every contribution will go directly toward supporting Chace and his family during this incredibly difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re unable to donate, we would be so grateful if you could share this fundraiser and keep Chace and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support. Every donation, every share, and every message of encouragement reminds this family that they are not facing this journey alone.
</div>

<div>With love and gratitude

Help Chace and His Family Through This Difficult Time ❤️

<div>Today my best friend faced a mother's and a daughter's worst nightmare.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>At around 11:20am, in the small town of Port Hope, Ontario, a house <a href="https://todaysnorthumberland.ca/2021/10/08/deadly-fire-in-port-hope-claims-two-lives" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">fire</a> claimed the life of her only child and her only living parent.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>I have known Debbie and her family for 36 years and they have become part of my extended family by heart. Keshia has always called me Aunt Kim and my husband Uncle Rick. To her, my children where her cousins. We love her, her mother, and biological family like they were blood related.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>I personally cannot even try to imagine the pain and living hell Debbie must be going through let alone her siblings and their families as well as her extended family.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>I know that none of her immediate family can afford funeral expenses out of pocket to lay these two beautiful women to rest properly so I decided to help the only way I know how, by reaching out to the community for financial support and prayers.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>I hope you will help me ease
</div>

<div>the families burden by donating any amount you can. Every cent is appreciated and if you cannot afford to donate please help by sharing this with your family and friends as much as possible.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Thank you and Bless you,
</div>
