Our family has been turned upside down by a devastating accident.

Our sweet nephew, Chace, was seriously injured in a fire and was transferred to SickKids Hospital, where he is receiving specialized care for burns covering approximately 60% of his body. He is now beginning what will be a long and incredibly challenging road to recovery.

Doctors expect Chace to remain hospitalized for at least 6 to 8 weeks, followed by months of rehabilitation, surgeries, and ongoing treatment. Throughout this journey, his parents will be by his side every step of the way.

As you can imagine, this tragedy has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on their family. With both of Chace’s parents expected to be away from work for an extended period, they are facing loss of income while also managing the many expenses that come with a prolonged hospital stay, including travel, meals, parking, accommodations, and other unforeseen costs.

We’re asking for your support to help ease some of that financial burden so they can focus on what matters most - being there for Chace as he fights to heal.
