<div>Sabrije Bardhi Cura from Kraja is only 27 yars old, who recently received the bitter news that she was diagnosed with stage two Leukemia. This diagnosis came as a shock to Sabrije, her husband and her extended family in Krajë and Ana e Mali. To receive emergency treatment, Sabrija has to travel abroad to a specialized clinic in Turkey, which comes at a hefty price tag.

<div>It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we are writing to you about the untimely passing of Pajo Jankoviq who leaves behind two very young children, a wife and a widowed mother and two sisters.

<div>Pajo passed away at a very young age of 30 and leaves behind 2 year old daughter Matea, 4 year old son Jozo, wife Gabrijella, mother Tereza, sisters Angja and Sandra. Until not too long ago, this was a very happy family, loved, cherished and well respected by neighbors, friends and everyone who knew them, then 8 years ago, Pajo’s father Jozo suddenly passed away at the age of 59, leaving behind his family and young son Pajo, who was only 22 when his father passed. Pajo picked up the pieces to support the family, married Gabrijella and started their family. We all wish the sad part of the story ended here.

<div>Sadly and unexpectedly, after a medical procedure, Pajo passed away December 02, 2023 leaving behind the devastated family, mother, sisters, wife and his children Jozo and Matea who are only 2 and 4 years old.

<div>There are no words to express the pain and sorrow. Losing a family member is always difficult. Losing a parent is more difficult. Losing a father and the family bread winner at such a young age is just unimaginable and there are no words to console their young children.

<div>Jozo and Matea will never again hug their father, play with him, listen to his fatherly advice or cherish any more family moments together. However, the memory of their father Pajo and grandfather Jozo will live on forever because everyone who knew them, knows how wonderful both, Pajo and Jozo were. It seems God is picking the best to call home as they were the nicest people.

Do ne tako davno, ovo je bila veoma srećna porodica, voljena, negovana i poštovana od strane komšija, prijatelja i svih koji su ih poznavali, onda je pre 8 godina iznenada u 59. godini preminuo Pavlov otac Jozo, ostavivši za sobom porodicu i malog sins Pavla koji je imao samo 22 godine kada mu je otac preminuo. Pavle je preuzeo ulogu da izdržava porodicu, oženio Gabrijelu i zasnovao svoju porodicu. Svi bismo voljeli da se tužan dio priče ovdje završi.

<div>Ne postoje riječi kojima bi se izrazila bol i tuga. Gubitak člana porodice je uvek težak. Gubitak roditelja je teži. Gubitak oca i porodičnog hranitelja u tako mladoj dobi je prosto nezamisliv i nema riječi kojima bi se utješila njihova mala djeca.

<div>Jozo i Matea više nikada neće grliti svog oca, više nikada se neće igrati se s njim, slušati njegove očinske savjete ili cijeniti zajedničke porodične trenutke. Ipak, sjećanje na oca Pavla i djeda Jozu ostaće vječno jer svi koji su ih poznavali znaju koliko su i Pajo i Jozo bili divni. Čini se da Bog bira najbolje da zove na nebesa jer su oni bili najboli medju nama.

<div>In July of 2021, Lavdurim (Lavdi) Aliu had started going to see his primary care doctor for immense stomach pain. Over that past year he had been in and out of doctor visits/checkups.<strong> In June of this year (2022), Lavdurim's routine doctors appointment turned into devastating news which turned his whole life around. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Gastric Cancer.</strong> Since then Lavdurim has been out of work and on a rollercoaster ride of appointments even more so now. Lavdurim is currently undergoing Chemotherapy treatments at the University of Chicago Hospital. His treatments are done every 6 weeks and he has just finished his 3rd round of Chemotherapy after being held at the hospital for 3 weeks.

<div>Lavdurim has always been humble, caring and above all - a very loving and family-orientated man. He is a father of a young boy whom he loves dearly. His wife Buki has been his biggest support as she is constantly by his side being his primary care taker.

<div>Lavdurim is the type of person that will stop whatever he is doing to help those he cares about and now it's our turn to step up and help him. Per fat te keq ne ket incident e psoj jashtëzakonisht rend nji vajz e re 17 vjeçare, ku aksedantalisht i ra nji makinë. Kjo vajzë me emrin Sidita, ishte poashtu nga Brajsha e Anes Malit. Vajza e Ramazan Lukes. Ne ket aksident e gjora Sidita ishe e dalun nga makina qe kishe ardhur deri aty e me shkue ne shtepi. Por sa ka dal nga makina, ne menyr aksidentale i ka ra nji makinë tjeter. Per familjen e Ramazan Lukes ishte nji ferr i vertet. Kete vajze te re Siditen, 17 vjeçare, makina i ra duke i shkantue lendim te madh ne nji kambë dhe ne krye. Qe kur ka ndodh incidenti Sidita ala asht ne koma pa kurr far vetëdije. Fal Zotit, vetem frymëmarrjen nuk ja ndali.

Ndersa gjendja e tij u perkeqsua edhe me teper, Samiri pati intervenimin e katert ne Tiran ne 2020, por prap pa sukses. Simbas te dhenave qe I kemi, Samiri mund te sherohet vetem ne spitalet adekuate per keto semundje, prandaj ai ka bere nje vizit ne spitalin Turk ne Stamboll, ku eshte konsultuar me mjek profesional per semundjen e ti. Sipas tyre duhet te jete sa me i shpejt intervenimi per shkak se 45% e te degjuarit eshte demtuar. Ne baze te konsultimit me mjeket, shuma (perafersisht) per intervenim te Samirit eshte $29,800, ndersa per shpenzime duhet afersishit $5,000. Ne baze te ksaj mora kete iniciativ qe te ju drejtohem per ndihme per Samir Safet Hoxhen qe te shkoj e te sherohet. E i lutemi Zotit qe te kete sukses dhe te kthehet sa me pare prane familjes se ti.

<div>Samir Hoxha is from Rashtisha in the county of Ulqin. He is married with a child, and in pain from an infection of the ear which has caused him to lose 45% of his hearing. He has had multiple surgeries done on the ear, but they were not successful. The first was in 2008, the second in 2010, and the third in 2015 these operations were all done in Centinje Montenegro. His fourth operation took place in 2020 in Tirana Albania. Samirs only hope is to have an operation done in a more developed country. He has had an initial checkup done in Istanbul, Turkey and they are very confident that they can fix the issue with his ear. The pain impacts his ability to work and normally function in everyday life.

<div>Both, Gjergj and Vera, were infected and fought the virus with all their might. Gjergj fought bravely and when the hope was that he would get better, on September 19, sadly Vera lost her battle. Young Marko and Marina had to bury their mother, while their hospitalized father battled COVID. We all wish this already tragic story stopped there.

<div>Less than two weeks after losing their mother Vera at a very young age of 51, Marko and Marina lost their father Gjergj on September 29, 2021.

<div>There are no words to express the pain and sorrow. Losing a family member is always difficult. Losing a parent is more difficult. Losing both parents in such a short period of time is just unimaginable and there are no words to console their young children.

<div>Gjergj and Vera were very proud of their children’s lives and academic success. Marko and Marina will never again hug their parents, listen to their parental advice or cherish any more family moments together. However, the memory of their parents will live on forever because everyone who knew them, knows how wonderful both, Gjergj and Vera were. Their children were their world. It seems as if this horrible virus is taking the best among us because Gjergj and Vera were the nicest people.

Por kujtimi i prindërve të tyre do të jetojë përgjithmonë sepse të gjithë ata që i njihnin, e dinë sa të mrekullueshëm ishin Gjergj dhe Vera. Fëmijët e tyre ishin bota e tyre. Duket sikur ky virus i tmerrshëm po merr njerzit më të prej nesh sepse Gjergj dhe Vera ishin më të mirë, dhe te respeketushëm.

<div>Đorđe i Vera bili su jako ponosni na živote svoje djece i akademski uspjeh. Marko i Marina nikada više neće zagrliti roditelje, poslušati njihove roditeljske savjete ili njegovati više zajedničkih porodičnih trenutaka. Međutim, sjećanje na njihove roditelje živjet će vječno jer svi koji su ih poznavali znaju da su i Đorđe i Vera bili divni. Njihova djeca su bila njihov svijet. Čini se kao da ovaj užasni virus uzima najbolje među nama jer su Đorđe i Vera bili najbolji ljudi.

The family is expected to travel to Instanbul Turkey, Memorial Hospital. <br /><br />Considering this isn’t their first round of seeking medical help, we are asking friends, family, and kind strangers donate to help this family focus on what’s more important- saving their son. Husejn Bisha.<br />Në luftën e egër me sëmundjen e Covid 19, ndër të shumtët që e humbën betejen më këtë sëmundje ishte edhe teologu e humanisti z. Husejn Bisha.<br />Husejn Bisha u nda nga jeta në moshën 50 vjeçare, ishte bashkëshorti i Samres, babai i Aminës, Muhamedit dhe Sumejes. Ai tërë jetën e vet ia kushtoi veprës më të bukur njerëzore-bamirësisë. Ishte  njeri me zemër të madhe, shembull i jashtëzakonshëm i njeriut të dashur, ku gjithmonë e gjente mënyren për tu ndihmuar njerëzve në nevojë.<br />Ishte themelues i Fondacionit Nur, i cili ka ndihmuar me qindra refugjatë të ardhur në Ulqin nga Kosova në kohën e luftës, nismëtar për ndërtimin e dy kulteve fetare, në Bojk dhe Shtegvash, hapjes së gjimnazit "Drita", si dhe shumë iniciativave të ndryshme në ndihmë të atyre që kishin nevojë.<br />Nisur nga qëllimi i mirë i disa bashkëvendësve në diasporë dhe vendlindje kemi menduar që familjes së të ndjerit t'i gjendemi pranë financiarisht për tejkalimin e vështirësive të paraqitura me rastin e humbjes se tij, me qëllim që veprat e nisura nga ai të mos ndalen këtu.<br />Shpresojmë që qëllimi ynë i mirë të has në mirëkuptimin tuaj.<br />Ju faleminderit dhe Zoti u shpërbleft!<br /><br />In memory of the work and life of the theologian and humanist Mr. Husejn Bisha.<br /><br />In the fierce battle with the disease of COVID-19, among the many who lost the battle with this disease was the theologian and humanist Mr. Husejn Bisha.<br /><br />Husejn Bisha passed away at the age of 50, he was the husband of Samra, the father of Amina, Muhamed and Sumeja. He was the founder of the Nur Foundation, which helped hundreds of refugees who came to Ulcinj from Kosovo during the war, the initiator of the construction of two religious’ cults, in Bojk and Shtegvash, the opening of the High School "Drita", as well as many different initiatives in aid of those in need.<br /><br />Given the good intentions of some compatriots in the diaspora and homeland we have thought to be close to the family of the deceased financially to overcome the difficulties presented in the event of his loss, so that the deeds initiated by him do not stop here.<br /><br />We hope our good intentions meet your understanding. I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of the Sulic Family for Chloe Sulic that was born with Krabbe Disease in Switzerland. Please read the letter below to learn more about her story.<br /><br />Hello, my name is Chloé,<br /><br />I was born in Biel (Switzerland) on the 19th of October 2018 as a "healthy" little girl, however, it turns out I have Krabbe Disease. Krabbe disease is a very rare genetic disorder that I inherited from my parents. <br /><br />During the first six months of my life, my development was completely "normal" and I reached all-important growth milestones, but after that everything went backward. I couldn't hold up my head anymore, sitting became impossible and my body tension and motor skilled seemed gone.<br /><br />The most heartbreaking moment for my parents, was when I lost my beautiful smile at just 17 months. This doesn't mean an unhappy thought, I am surrounded by my family who knows that I am the strongest and most courageous little fighter on earth. The story of my diagnosis is a very long one. It took my doctor six months with endless hospital stays and many tests to finally confirm what we feared so much. <br /><br />The most devastating thing was, that my parents got the diagnosis by phone in December 2019 when I was 14 months old. According to my doctor, my life expectancy would only be a few months, but as I said, I am a little fighter with the strongest will, therefore I will not give up! <br /><br />With the help of my family and different ways of therapies, we are all trying to make my everyday life as easy and comfortable as possible. <br /><br />I am incredibly grateful for every donation, that helps me enlighten all colors of my rainbow. <br /><br />Love, <br />Chloé<br /><br />Through the Foundation "Lueur d'espoir pour Ayden", Chloé has recently been accepted for participation in an experimental research project, which is being conducted with great commitment by the biotech company APTEEUS based in Lille, France. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed within the next two months, which means we would then be able to proceed with Chloé's skin biopsy. We are hopeful that through the therapy the progression of the disease can be slowed down and who knows...by any chance even heal our little fighter. Understandably the participation in the experimental research project involves high costs. She is unable to eat, unable to walk due to medical condition affecting her bones. Her family does not own a home or apartment and struggles to make ends meet. They are unable to pay for medical expenses and equipment to help her. Her mother is unable to work because she has to take care of her child. Emergency relief for CONVID-19 in Ulqin, Montenegro<br />The CORONAVIRUS Pandemic has reached our country Montenegro and our town Ulqin and its impact can be devastating. Help for Ulqin, Ndihmë per Ulqin, Pomoć za Ulcinj

Dragi dobri ljudi, pomogli ste nam već dva puta al sa teškim srcem moram opet da od vas tražim pomoć. Izet je uz vašu pomoć uspjeo da operiše srce i ta operacija je bila uspješna. Nažalost ispostavile su se komplikacije i morao je da ima operaciju na lijevoj nozi da bi se otklonio ugrušak koji se pojavio poslije operacije srca. Na početku je izgledalo da je i ta operacija bila uspješna ali nažalost pukla mu je ta rana na nozi i počeo je krvariti naglo i doktori su hitno morali da ga operišu ponovo. Ovaj put je operacija uspjela i i svi smo se nadali da će nam Izet ubrzo ozdraviti. Ali nažalost sad su se uspostavile daljne komplikacije i Izet sad ima krvarenje na mozgu. Zbog operacije srca je primao tablete za razrjeđivanje krvi i sad mu moraju te lijekove da zaustave da vide šta će se desiti sa krvarenjem na mozgu. Zbog ove nove komplikacije Izet sad mora još duže da ostane u bolnici koja košta €450 po danu. 
Koliko dugo još neznamo al čim nam doktori jave ja ću to ovdje objaviti.

Nadam se da će te i ovaj put da nam pomognete da bi se moj brat vratio zdrav i živ svojoj kćerki Nelli kao također nama svima. Hvala vam puno, Iso Hotic. 

Thank you to all of you who donated so far towards my brother’s medical bill in Turkey.  
Originally this fundraiser was set up to help pay towards his heart operation which was successfully carried out. However since then further complications arose and he developed a blood clot in his leg which they operated on. At first we all thought this operation was successful and he’d soon be making a full recovery however he started bleeding at the sight of the operation and they had to rush him in to theatre again. The doctors managed to stop the bleeding and fixed the vein which was bleeding. Unfortunately since then Izet has now developed a bleed on the brain and has been taken to intensive care where they will stop his blood thinning medication in order to monitor his bleeding on the brain. 
Due to these further complications Izet now has to stay in hospital even longer until he makes a full recovery. The doctors have said he might need another operation in order to stop the bleeding on his brain but this will be confirmed later. The hospital stay costs €450 per day plus further cost for MRI or CT scans. 

I hope you will be able to help this time as well so my brother can make a full recovery and return alive and well to his little daughter Nella who is only 2 years old. Many thanks, Iso Hotic.
