Buddy is my service dog and my hero. He was rescued from a dog fighting ring, where he was used as a bait dog because he didn’t like to fight. Despite everything he went through, Buddy’s gentle spirit never faded. After bringing him home, I worked hard to get him certified as a service dog so he could help protect me. Since then, Buddy has saved my life twice, always by my side when I needed him most. Now, Buddy needs help. He’s facing medical challenges, and I want to give him the same chance at life that he gave me. Every dollar raised will go directly to Buddy’s medical bills, making sure he gets the care and support he deserves after all he’s been through. Buddy is my hero, and I want to do everything I can to save his life, just as he saved mine. If you’re able to help, thank you from the bottom of my heart. About 8 years ago, my fiancé and I walked into a shelter looking for a specific breed, my husband wanted a bull terrier. However there was this almost one year old GHOTTI pit that had been rescued from a dog fighting ring as a bate dog. He wasn’t in a cage he was kinda sitting with the employees cause he didn’t like being locked up, and he is very mild tempered, I fell in love instantly. Buddy was later trained to be my service dog and saved my life twice. When we found out he has cancer I’ve been in constant denial. He’s been by my side everyday and is a part of me.
