About 8 years ago, my fiancé and I walked into a shelter looking for a specific breed, my husband wanted a bull terrier. However there was this almost one year old GHOTTI pit that had been rescued from a dog fighting ring as a bate dog. He wasn’t in a cage he was kinda sitting with the employees cause he didn’t like being locked up, and he is very mild tempered, I fell in love instantly. Buddy was later trained to be my service dog and saved my life twice. When we found out he has cancer I’ve been in constant denial. He’s been by my side everyday and is a part of me.
