<p><strong>Losing a child is the worse pain any parent.        can possibly experience!<br /><br /></strong>Yesterday a close friend and coworker of mine lost her  12 year old son after he was fatally shot.

<p><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">My friend dedicated her life to saving other peoples lives. She has worked in the healthcare field saving lives every day being there for other people’s family members. Now it’s her turn for everybody to be there for her. She did not have any life insurance for her children and we need to help give this young man, this  innocent young man a proper burial.  He was a good boy and she is a great mother who loves her children more than anything in this world so please no matter what amount you can spare, donate to help her reach this goal so she can give him a proper burial without the stress of worrying about how she will be able to pay for it.. thank you all!  Please Continue to keep Nurse Davis and her family in your thoughts and prayers.</span>

<div>Hi, let me tell you a little bit about the history of our house. My grandparents had 13 children. Seven girls and five boys used to have family holidays here. So much life, so much love, so much fun growing up. Out of five boys, only one remains amongst the living. Some of us were born here. I was also born here. In fact, my mother and father said their marriage vows in this very house, so the house has a lot of history that's very dear to us, and I try to keep those memories alive. Times have changed; many have passed on, and only a few remain. Now there's me and my youngest uncle, who I love dearly. We live here and try to keep everything going in the house as normal people do. The cosmetics, the plumbing, the electrical wiring, the roof, the windows, the doors, the foundation—each year, it seems like the prices of everything go up. I have done a lot of plumbing work and remodeled the bathroom finally because everything in the house is original. It gets hard when income is limited. It's only so much you can do with not enough income, but we do the best that we can.

<div>There was once a house next door. As children, we used to play together, but the neighbors moved out long ago, leaving the house. The house became vacant and started to decay. Grass grew into weeds, weeds grew into bushes, bushes grew into little trees, and little trees grew into bigger trees and caused problems. From day one since these problems started, we had to hire a plumber every season to come out and snake the basement because of backup sewer water, destroying the sewer line and making the basement unlivable, which was once beautiful. We replaced the roof back in 2010. Now the trees have gotten so huge that they are overpowering the back roof of our home, not to mention the back patio that we once used to store our dishes in is no longer usable. We had to put plastic, insulation, and plywood up to the door entry to the back pantry because of the mold, and the tree branches were tearing and leaning on the back rooftop and destroyed it to where when it rains or snows, the water leaks back there, causing breathing issues. We had to block it off because of our health, and we can't afford to get it torn down. We did have homeowners insurance, but they told us if the tree didn't completely fall on the back patio, there was nothing they could do.

<div>Now the trees that were left in the yard of the lot next door started growing against our fence, getting bigger and bigger every year. In fact, they are so big they are stretching from one side of the yard and fence to the other side, past the fence into the neighbor's yard. The electric company used to come out and cut the limbs down off the power line; now they say we have to pay for that. The city of Detroit, where we live, says they do not cut private residence tree limbs or remove them from private properties anymore. So it's now left up to both my uncle and myself to find a company to help. Both my uncle and myself have disabilities. My uncle was attacked and put into a coma by someone just asking him for change that he didn't have at the time. He did survive, but he can't do everything like he used to. He has limited mobility. His mind is not the same. His strength is not the same. His willpower is not the same, but he fights every day to get stronger even though he's elderly. I love my uncle. My disability most times prevents me from being able to walk on my own. Sometimes I have to use a cane, sometimes I have to use my walker for some daily chores around the house, and some days are great, but it is a challenge, and we never give up.

<div>We have had numerous estimates from different companies that came out to see how they could help, but everything is so expensive and high in price. We understand the cost of living went up, but we can't afford to get the trees torn down. <strong>We are asking for donations of any kind, small or big, so that we can have the trees removed so that they don't destroy our property. </strong>We thank you in advance with all of our heart.
