Remember Marshmallow? The dog who was stolen from us by Sarah Smolak back in January of this year.
Monday was supposed to be the day he came home. The judge ordered Sarah Smolak to return him to us no later than July 28, in the parking lot of the Winchester Police Department. We showed up—full of hope, arms wide open, treats in hand, ready to bring our boy home.
But Smolak never showed up.
We waited… and waited… and eventually had to leave empty-handed. What we had was real hope. Now, we’re left with only questions:
Where is Marshmallow?
Is he okay?
Does he know we haven’t stopped fighting for him?
Marshmallow isn’t just a dog, he’s family. And despite a clear court order, he’s still not home. We don’t know where he is or if he’s safe. And it hurts.
To make matters worse, Smolak’s lawyer filed a motion yesterday to reargue the case, trying to undo the judge’s order. That means more legal hours, more court appearances, and thousands of dollars in legal fees—just to keep fighting for what’s right.
We’re doing everything we can to bring him home. If you’re able to help, please consider donating to our fundraiser. Every dollar helps. Every share brings us closer.
All we want is for Marshmallow to come home.
Please keep him in your thoughts—he deserves so much better.
Thank you for standing with him. And with us.
